After over a week they said my truck was ready and when I went to go pick it up there was a new scratch on the front fender that was NOT there before. I pointed it out and they tried to scam me by saying it was there before and pulled up their before pictures "showing" it was there when I brought my truck in. This was FALSE. I asked them to show the time stamp on their picture and the time stamp was 2 days AFTER I brought my truck in. They damaged my truck and took a new picture of it to put with the "before" pictures trying to cover up their mistake instead of just fixing it!! They're complete scammers and DO NOT do honest work. I wouldn't trust them with anything. If you take your vehicle here make sure to take your own before pictures so this doesn't happen to you! They also left my truck super dusty and dirty with foot scuff marks all over the door. The only thing they did right was send a guy out to detail my truck after I took it home. I will never come back here or recommend this place.

Though the work they did was fine, I was underwhelmed with the customer service and prices so I never returned. Well, this year my regular shop was too busy when I needed them so I called ACR to see if they could fit me in last minute. The customer service this time was outstanding. They got me in that day, worked with my schedule, communicated with me and didn't talk down to me like most mechanics do. They were understanding of my tight (not working right now) budget and worked with me to get the cost down. Now when I need something done I call ACR first. It is true that they aren't always going to be as fast as a big chain store or the dealership service shop. They are a small business. I'm not sure how many employees they have but its only a few. If 1-2 employees get sick (like they did this past week) it's going to have an impact. So....yes, the culture has changed and IMO it's for the better. The staff actually treat you like a person and not just a dollar sign. If all you care about is getting your car in and out asap with no human interaction, go get your car serviced at the dealership shop and pay 2-3x as much. This is where you go when you want a mechanic that treats your car like it's theirs and talks with you like you're a neighbor/brother/friend, not at you like just another customer.

I never received a response. Later, I received conflicting information from the assistant, who stated the work would instead be $180 per hour, despite the original flat-rate quote. What concerned me most was the lack of professionalism. The owner called me while appearing to be intoxicated, used profanity during our conversation, and repeatedly described himself as "a man of his word." We had a scheduled appointment, yet there was no phone call, no text, and no notice that anything had changed. I drove 40 minutes to the shop only to find it closed. Integrity is everything in business. Quotes should be honored or clearly communicated if they change. Appointments should be kept or customers should be notified. My experience did not reflect the level of professionalism or reliability I expect from a business, and I hope the owner chooses to make this right

He ordered the new part straight from the dealer and repaired my bumper quickly. When it's easy for auto repair shops to scam the every day person, Best Choice was honest, timely, and work was quality.
