Robyn is incredibly professional and truly makes you feel like your meal is her number one priority. She worked with me to create a menu that would work for all guests, including one who was lactose intolerant / vegetarian. Upon arrival she went right to work and although multitasking kept the kitchen calm and inviting. We enjoyed watching her make fresh pasta while creating 4 additional recipes with ease. She has a lovely disposition and a passion for food that shines through. Now let's talk about the food. First off, each dish complimented each other. The ingredients were so fresh and pure that you could truly taste them all coming together with each bite. Nothing was swimming in sauce or overly salty - truly perfect. The homemade pasta reminded me of Italy and she made sure everything she uses is seasonal. The braised short ribs melted in your mouth. Ever been to a dinner party where everyone becomes incredibly quiet because the food is that good? It happened! We finished the night off with a vegan chocolate pie that left the group asking for the recipe. While we were enjoying everything, Robyn cleaned the kitchen and left it spotless. Everyone was floored by her food and I can honestly say it was talked about the entire time and will be for years to come. I feel thankful I found such a quality chef. I would strongly advise against working with Robyn's Kitchen--- I hired Robyn to cater my mother's 70th birthday dinner three months in advance. Because we were hosting a smaller event, it often felt like Robyn couldn't be bothered to respond to our messages. When we had unresolved questions with the chef originally assigned to us and reached back out to Robyn, she simply forwarded our email back to the chef without resolving the issue. About a month before the event, Robyn emailed to let us know the original chef was no longer working with her and assigned us a replacement. She provided no details about the new chef, leading to an extremely uncomfortable situation when he arrived: it turned out he wasn't even her employee, but an outside contractor helping her out because she was "overbooked" (his words). When we later reached out to ask how to finalize payment with him, Robyn replied very rudely, stating we had to work that out with him because she'd already told me he wasn't one of her chefs (she had not told me that initially). It was incredibly disappointing.

We stopped, were greeted cheerfully, and quickly found parking before heading to the window to order. My daughter had been there before, but this was my first visit, and we were both treated very well by the staff, including the Vice President of the Shinnecock Nation, who teased me for comparing their lobster rolls with ones I had tried previously at the original Lobster Roll in Montauk, Lunch in Southampton, and Cousins' Maine Lobster trucks back in Pennsylvania. He said theirs use fresh, not frozen lobster meat and are better. We both got the four ounce "Guppy" served Hamptons style - warm lobster topped with warm butter and chives over a bed of arugula served on a toasted brioche roll that came with a generous portion of classic shoestring fries and a pickle. Our sandwiches and fries were terrific, and I even got to try a Montauk iced tea, a local favorite that has half the sugar of Gold Peak sweet tea and came highly recommended by one of the private chefs in the Hamptons that I follow on social media. I don't think they are using Boar's Head or other quality cold cuts brands. They roast beef was well done, dry & gristly. The owner seems to be a nice guy. I hope he can improve the store.
