Pros: the bacon cheese burger was delicious! Fries were hot & crispy. Cons: 25 minute wait for (2) bacon cheese burger baskets with fries & drink. Drinks taste AWFUL. Their so called Sprite is NOT like a true Sprite. Bring your own drink! After a 25 minute wait, we got (1) bacon cheese burger & (1) chicken sandwich. Does anyone read the customer's order anymore? They did however give us (2) bacon cheese burgers to take home, but when you're set on having a bacon cheese burger? Free food is a small token of apology since by the time we get them home and get hungry again, the burgers will be cold and soggy! Over $25 for this. Definitely overpriced. read more

The food is usually very good, although, the brine marinated chicken is a bit salty for some. I find it to be very tasty- especially the GIGANTIC chicken breast sandwich. The biggest down side is that the prices are SKY high! The service is friendly, but be prepared to wait as almost anything you order is cooked fresh. Forget the others, we had the best fried chicken filet sandwiches here at Big Chic! They were perfectly cooked and huge. It verges on being too salty but it's delicious. Also had some wonderful fried okra on the side instead of fries. My husband had the French fries which were not great however. They had an extra taste of old oil or freezer burn unfortunately. This nostalgic place has walkup windows for ordering and 'seating' is picnic tables beyond the edge of the parking lot. This is essentially a take-out place but I think some of the building could be opened up in the future for seating. The service was really great! Friendly, polite and accommodating. called at 1:04 and ordered. he told me 10 minutes. it's now 1:24 girl slammed the window in my face when I told her I had a Togo order and I still have no food and I have to be back at work in 6 minutes. customer service is everything that girl with the black and blonde braid and pink shirt nose ring needs a new training course. Working in Jackson this week had me worried about places to eat lunch. I lived in Thomaston, Ga for a few years and was familiar with The BigChic chain. This place has no inside seating, to go only and you stand outside under the shade tree to order. The process was very fast and I was on my way back to work in no time. That alone means something if you are on a limited time frame. The chicken in the sandwich was almost as big as my head! Those who know me will have a comment about that, I'm sure! When they say sweet tea, they mean sweet. But, its Georgia and here our sweat is full of sugar. Maybe that's why we have all those misquitos? GREAT, food, service and price! read more
