    Diner Breakfast

Cute vibe with plenty of natural light coming through the windows. Our server was super nice and we never went long without her stopping by to check on us. Food was fine for the most part. Nothing I had was amazing, though. I didn't care for the eggs or pancakes but the meat in my "diner breakfast" meal was better.

I'm gunna be 100% honest .... It's not the bees knees .... Everything aesthetically looks amazing, but taste wise it's alright. We tried all the top menu items and there really wasn't anything I would come back for. Deviled eggs were decent but tasted better if u put the fries on top, the fries with lobster gravy? I tasted noooo seafood whatsoever and there definitely was not seafood meat either so don't be fooled by the name ... at best they prolly made a gravy with seafood shells just to call it that ... $15 for fries ... I'm good ... the dirty French was prolly the thing I liked most and I'd give it a 6 .... Chocolate pudding tasted like pot de crème .... Not chocolate pudding ... chicken schnitzel was alright as well... Hate to say it but it's true ... our server was amazing though. Atmosphere definitely had the Diner feel for sure.

If you're looking for good breakfast/brunch, this is a good choice! Walked in w no reservations on a Sunday and got a spot at the bar as everything else had been booked up. Bartender was super cool and the food came out real quick and was tasty. Shoutout the goetta breakfast!

Was downtown and decided to try this place since it was on my restaurant list while I was in town. The hashbrowns and kimchi ketchup was really good. The diner breakfast was fantastic the lemon ricotta pancakes was so great and moist. Eggs were cooked perfect and the pork belly was so yummy. Dog friendly patio and they brought a water bowl so that's a bonus. The patio is a nice size and restaurant was nice.

Service was quick and friendly You can never go wrong with the deviled eggs- always fresh and flavorfully balanced- The fries with mornay are a bit steep, but this batch was worth the 7 bucks I got the Mahi Reuben and the kitchen didn't drain the sauerkraut well the whole underside of my bread was a soggy mess- but it was still pretty delicious. They are spot on with the food temps- everything comes straight out fresh and hot- and I appreciate that

Went here as it was featured on DDD which means Guy Fieri ate here. We watched the show right before going and it was nice to see the staff from the show right at the door. We got the food featured on the show, the Dirty French burger and the Chili Crunch Chicken Nuggets. We also split fries which were ok. Service was average. Parking is costly unless you can score on the street parking. Has indoor and outdoor seating. The chicken nuggets were to die for! Honestly the best I've ever had, so crunchy and delicious!

Delicious Cincy breakfast, especially for out-of-towners looking for something interesting. This place has got some more items specific to this area, so it's not your regular pancakes and hash browns. We are talking oatmeal sausages, deviled eggs, neckbone gravy. As the mister is a connoisseur of deviled eggs (har har), we of course picked that. I also love any kind of western breakfast plates, so I opted for the goetta breakfast, which I haven't found in any other places in the world yet but Cincy :O We also got some pancakes to round it out. The deviled egg is almost... too scrumptious for breakfast with the pork rinds! However, it is a littttttle less flavourful than we thought it'd be even with all the ingredients like mustard seeds in it. Pretty solid over all. The goetta breakfast is a must try because it's so interesting -- but it definitely brings back to mind when folks had to be more resourceful. The whole plate was delicious though! OTR is filled with delicious restaurants and bars already... add this to your list for a nice Sunday brunch!

Came for a late afternoon brunch. That by itself is 5 stars because brunch any time of day is my love language. So I'm biased. But the food is GOOD and so is service! The staff isn't snooty and the ambiance can be casual family or date and everything in between. This was my second time eating here and this time was better than the first time. Mostly due to service being consistently better

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect coming here but was totally blown away by the food! Came here on a Saturday night with some friends. It's a pretty big spot with lots of seating. Big fan of whatever playlist they had playing too. We started with some apps of the pork rinds and steak tartare. The tartare was decent but the pork rinds were delicious! A nice generous serving of them as well. For entrees we got the Chili Crunch Chicken, Fried Mortadella, and the Schnitzel. All of them were great but the Chili Crunch chicken really stood out. They're basically like fried chili chicken nuggets in a rice bowl. The rest of the menu looked great as well, we will definitely be back to try the rest!

    Diner Breakfast with Hashbrowns

Cute ambiance and liked the vibe. Made a reservation for brunch on a Sunday which was a good move because it definitely got busy! I ordered the Diner Breakfast but subbed the pork belly for the Hashbrowns. The lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious - not too sweet. The scrambled eggs were a bit runny for my liking. The hashbrowns were really good! I wasn't sure what to expect, but they were tasty and the kimchi ketchup had a good flavor that paired well with it. I even put the kimchi ketchup on my eggs. Things that didn't go so well - the food took a long time to arrive. Our waiter sort of disappeared for a while too and my friend wanted another drink. We ended up having the person who brought our food out put in another mimosa for her. Unfortunately the second one had a different juice than what she wanted (the one she got for her first drink), so that was a miss.

Meat focused much? Outstanding meal! Service was great, food was great. Got seated in back room for a table of two -- a little cramped against a water pipe and the window -- a little too warm also -- but the service and food made up for it. Pork rinds and shishitos? A weird combo, but it works! My husband said the steak tartare was divine (not my thing). The chicken tenders were to die for! All the fried items were greaseless -- the crew in the kitchen knows how to nail it!

I was beyond impressed with the precise timing of being served, dishes being cleared, and drinks being poured. Everyone was incredibly kind and balanced small talk with fun details about the various dishes and the restaurant itself. It's worth mentioning that many, if not all, of the greens and flowers come from Chef Blackman's own backyard. We learned that literally everything is made in house, minus the bread, which comes from a shop right across the street. In my humble opinion, the chef's table experience is second to none in Cincinnati. It obviously comes with a premium, but I would choose Wildweed over a Jeff Ruby's any night of the week.

The bar scene itself was very boring, honestly one of the least interesting bar dining experiences I've had in a while. The food was mediocre and not memorable. The only dish I clearly remember, and probably the only one I would order again, was the watermelon salad. Everything else was fine at best, but nothing stood out or made me want to come back. I'm honestly surprised this restaurant is getting James Beard recognition. There are so many better places in the area, such as Colette, Baker's Table, and most notably Grist in Dayton, that feel far more deserving and seem to be overlooked. It makes me wonder if Wildweed has some kind of connection or ownership that helps it get more attention, because based on this visit, I don't see it.

For appetizers, we got the whipped feta. Delicious, creamy, and perfect for sharing -- but fair warning: avoid the peppers if you're not into a little kick. They sneak up on you! My friend and I split the house salad and WOW. A complete showstopper. So fresh, the vinaigrette was bright and delightful, and those fresh bacon bits? Chef's kiss. It's rare that a house salad stands out like that, but this one absolutely did. Now let's talk about the prime rib. I typically do not like steak or prime rib... but our waitress recommended it as the best thing on the menu, and honestly the Yelp photos had already convinced me. When I tell you it was BOMB -- I mean it. So tender. So flavorful. Perfectly cooked. Paired with broccolini and mashed potatoes, it was a whole experience. To end the night, we shared the apple tart with cinnamon ice cream -- warm, sweet, comforting, and the perfect finish to an already amazing meal.
