Definitely not worth the price. I originally misread that it was $3.99 which would have been a good deal, not $13.99. There were a lot of people in line and the wait for me to get the sandwich was short. There were at least two employees in the kitchen that I saw. The sandwich itself was meh. Wasn't bad, but wasn't good, either. I got through it and some of the chicken was tough. Roll was ok, eggs were cooked. I'd probably take another shot at Big City Chicken, but be more aware of what to expect. Should've paid more attention to your Yelp reviews! On a layover at Chicago Midway, I had extra time due to flight delay, so I decided to give Big City Chicken a try. They did not have anyone taking orders at the counter and only offered self-serve kiosks (2). There were several people waiting and several in line, so I thought this may be a "winner-winner, chicken dinner." Sadly, it wasn't. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, and it came with waffle fries. I also ordered a soda. These items cost almost $19! The fries were cold, and the sandwich was far from being worth the price paid and only lukewarm. When I got my food, I asked for the fountain soda drink. The person looked at me and pointed to a cooler, and said all drinks come from there. Never had I ever had a sandwich that was so bad that it made me wish I could be Ray J for a day, and have "One Wish"... Any time I'm passing through the Midway airport, Big City Chicken has become my go-to spot to grab food to-go before my flight. As others have noted, there is limited interactions with employees as you place your order through a self-service kiosk or mobile order. You grab your drinks from the drink fridge and then wait for your name to be called. On my recent stop, I will say lines were waaaaaay longer than usual (there's usually always a bit of a line) and at one point 3 minutes after I ordered, staff called out it would be a 30 minute wait for food. I ended up waiting for my order for about 15 minutes before being called. In this time I saw A LOT of disgruntled customers that had been waiting for quite some time, had incorrect orders, and one poor customer who didn't speak much English try to comprehend why staff was giving her items she didn't order because they were out of her selections (they were a bit more of a hot mess than usual) For me though - I always order the chicken tenders with waffle fries which so far has always been a safe choice.
