Great handy bag and they give ketchup and napkins in the bag, great when you are in a rush!

Updated review from an order today. Gone are the long lines, at least on a busy Sunday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Got the Nashville sandwich again and it didn't hit the spot as I remember it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Still fresh, but no longer with a sturdy bite to it taste wise.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Felt more bland and not spicy at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Included fries are yummy and tasty by themselves:-)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I was going to stop here on my flight out and didn't have a chance, decided to stop back on my flight in. I understand why the universe rushed me away from this place the first time. D I S G U S T I N G The fries were ok, the employees were cute and fun the food a BIG NO.... Don't let the presentation fool ya

I was limited with options and decided to try big city chicken during a quick layover- bad choice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The buffalo chicken was dry, barely had any buffalo, and not warm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Waffle fries came with the sandwich and those were good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's a good spot to grab a quick bite in the airport. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I got the spicy chicken strips which have a cake to them and the fries, which are nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is fast and efficient. And the ambience is quite casual for airport.

Flying through Chicago Midway airport and we're all hungry so we shared a 9 piece original chicken strips. It comes with fries which I really enjoyed. Chicken was decent not the best but ok for airport food. Kinda pricey at $28 but we split it between 3 of us so it was very economical. Next time I fly through I'll probably get it again. Service was good but the line was very long!

A pic of the worst chicken sandwich you ever seen.

see the pic for reference. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the worst chicken sandwich in the world.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employees seem to hate anyone that nots black, and purposely squeeze their sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]it's supposed to be a sandwich not a football or squished sub.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would fire this whole crew. I don't want to hear them endlessly talking shit, I just want a decent Sando and a dash of service.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The chicken was cold[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], [[HIGHLIGHT]]waffle fries were tasteless.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just grabbed in on the way through - don't do it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chicken sandwich is little more than a chicken strip on a bun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Located near gate b7. For &20 for 7 spicy! Chicken tender and fries. The chicken wasn't spicy hot in my mouth just on my lips after I was done eating. Chicken was good fries weren't that great probably cause the chicken was on top of them and made them soggy. Quick serve.

I mean if you are hungry this place will feed you. But it's not mind boggling yummy. My sandwich was fine but not worth the cost. Please note you order at a kiosk not the counter. Be careful when you order. The sandwich comes with fries. It is sneaky and as you go through check out it asks if you want to add fries. You don't need to. Almost made that mistake. Airport food is airport food. Nothing spectacular here. But not awful

This place is small. You place the order on a kiosk. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food seems like it was made to order but it wasn't.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The chicken was hard and dry the fries was salty and warm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't take the food back because I was getting on the plane back to Philly. And the pictures that displayed around the store looks delicious. But what you receive isn't what you got the taste, the look, the temperature, and the chicken was very dry and hard. Their fries was real salty. The staff was nice and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I believe if the food wasn't so salty and fresh it would've been so delicious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we was riding to our gate to get on the plane I said to my husband that chicken look so good I want to go back and get some a dinner box. Then after I went and looked at what I received I was mad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Please check your food after you received it to make sure it's right and it taste good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chicken and Egg Breakfast Sandwich. $15.63! WTF!
    Michael G.

So I rolled the dice to come here for a quick bite for my layover and overall, I felt ripped off after eating my chicken and egg sandwich. First, there's a dedicated line for those paying cash or airline employees. I went to that line and at the front I was told they are only doing kiosk and card payments. So I go to the other line and use the relatively easy touch screens, avoiding the almost $6 tater tots and other add-ons. Turned out that my single sandwich with tax was an astounding $15.63. Definitely not worth the price. I originally misread that it was $3.99 which would have been a good deal, not $13.99. There were a lot of people in line and the wait for me to get the sandwich was short. There were at least two employees in the kitchen that I saw. The sandwich itself was meh. Wasn't bad, but wasn't good, either. I got through it and some of the chicken was tough. Roll was ok, eggs were cooked. I'd probably take another shot at Big City Chicken, but be more aware of what to expect. Should've paid more attention to your Yelp reviews! And for most of what's available here in the Chicago Airport Terminal, nothing seems to be that great based on your reviews so maybe I did luck out.

9 piece spicy chicken strips with waffle fries
    Josiah H.

We're at Chicago Intl for a layover with the family, and we're looking to get something to eat before taking off. We were there close to when the food court was going to close, and everything was either expensive, running out, or not very interesting. Then I saw a few people with Big City Chicken walking from a different area, so we decided to check them out. We ended ordering several chicken strip meals in the spicy setup which were nice and crispy, hot off the fryer and perfectly spicy. Overall: Would definitely come back here if/when I'm back in the Chi-Town airport.

Way over cooked, and tasted like rubber. The service was good, but that's about it. Barely edible.

Reviews across social media are all over the place. Hubby chose the gyro platter with fries. *so much food*. He normally eats all his food, but he just couldn't. He just stopped and said "so much food" . Portion won! I chose the italian beef (not juicy/dipped) & had it on side instead. Cheese fries are ok, but not wow. The italian beef however, that is a different story. The flavor was throughout the beef & I liked how it did not have to rely on the juice to get the flavor. Speaking of the juice that had a perfect amount of spice. I have to say this is one of my top Italian beefs that I've ever had.

This is my first time trying Nikki's and I was actually suprised at the Italian beef. It was not bland compared to Al's Beef or Portillo's but at the same time it was not too salty. I like that they use steak fries. Very chunky. As for the choice of a drink for the meal for $12.99 they had horchatas as well as Jamaican juice and mango or the regular soda fountain drinks. I would have given them four stars for my experience but after seeing that they don't have a bathroom to wash your hands. Service was ok. Ambience was like a hole in the wall or very local which is good. I would come back but next time would like to try their burgers or their barbecue rib tips. I do recommend for such food.

Egg Benedicts was good but the hash browns were hard and under cooked. I've always ordered hash browns from different restaurants and they usually come done and toasted/crunchy so I was in an understanding that they come like this by default from any establishment. Was a little disappointed. I was too hungry and too early in the day that I didn't complain or sent it back, and just ate it anyway. I tried some of the crepe and it was just okay. My friend mentioned the tbone steak was just alright and his hash browns were undercooked and he end up not eating it too. Overall this place was just alright.
