Paid for everything (self service) only to have name called and find out they have no bacon. However, they do have bacon bits, which they assured me were on the sandwich...NOT. The fries had been sitting under the warming light since before I waited in the 20 minute long line to order. Cold, but waffle, so they get a point for that. ***Late post from my Oct 2023 East Coast trip*** While I was waiting for my flight at Chicago Midway International Airport - MDW to Myrtle Beach International Airport - MYR, I went to Big City Chicken to try their chicken sandwich and waffle fries. I didn't order any specific drinks... I just got a cup of water. Funny, when I got to the restaurant front, for some reason, I was quite confused as to how to order my food. There was a sign that says order via online app or something like that and so that's what I tried to do, but it didn't work for me. About a few minutes later, I found out there was an actual line where I can go to order via kiosk. They need to have better signs of communication for their customers. Kiosk ordering got a little confusing because of the extra condiments. If one doesn't know better, they would be paying extra for things they thought were free that came with the sandwich. Don't fall for it... ask questions! Wait time wasn't too bad. Atmosphere was okay. Here's my take on the food... I was disappointed with my original crispy chicken sandwich. It lacked flavor and was quite dry IMHO. Waffle fries were fantastic though... crispy and tasty the way I like my fries. Btw, if you want dipping sauce, it'll cost you. Had a quick layover in Midway and this was the first place I saw while walking to my next gate. I was starving so was really prepared for anything. I was presently surprised with Big City Chicken! They have self service kiosks as well as a person at the register if you prefer ordering with a person. I used the kiosk and was able to order very quickly. I ordered the 4 piece spicy chicken tenders and got ranch and spicy Mayo for sauces. I got lucky and ordered right before the rush came, so my food was ready quick! Even though I ordered 4 I swear I got at least 8 tenders. The chicken was juicy and fried well and the fries were delicious. Spicy Mayo is a must! I loved it. I had a horrible experience! There are designated lines one is for cash in which they aren't accepting cash. The employees were more into their conversation than customer service. Their only response for any customer concerns was "I don't know what to tell you" with a whole lack of care. The kiosk wasn't giving out receipts and as fast as I was done at the kiosk is as fast as I received a bun with no big city sauce with an over fried chicken strip all slapped together with an egg for $15.
