Upon arrival, we were greeted right away--our server was super sweet and attentive, which made the experience even better. This is probably the worst restaurant I've been to in a long time. My old fashioned was super weak and sweet. I asked the waitress to take it back and she did but the manager was at the bar frowning his face up and staring at me like he had a problem with me not liking the drink. This was a first time visit to this place. We waited at the To Go area for a cashier for about 7-10 minutes and right when we decided to just go to the bar that's when the cashier came. After we placed our to go order we went to the bar. My boyfriend ordered a sidecar and you could see the bartender speaking to I'm assuming this guy was the manager to ask him how to make the drink. She then comes back to us and tells us they don't have the ingredients to make a sidecar... we're clearly looking at Hennessy that's right next to the Cointreau but ok sure. So he then orders an old fashioned which the manager makes. After about 15 minutes we get our food. I'm checking the food but everything is literally so sticky and wet with various substances like ranch, wing sauce etc that I just skim through it to make sure everything is there. I notice we only have 2 ranch dressings for a 15 pc wing, an order of fried pickle spears, a bacon avocado burger with waffle fries, and tater tots so I requested two more from a waitress standing by the kitchen door. The waitress then tells the bartender and the bartender says to the waitress "they all got two". I interject and say yes, but we would like two more and I then inform her of what we have ordered to which she finally says ok. Once the waitress brings the ranch she then says "$2.75" or something along those lines as a fee for the ranch. Paying for the ranch wasn't a problem but the entire interaction rubbed us the wrong way on top of them not even mentioning that there was a fee associated with the request, they just asked for the money which is rude. Honestly we wouldn't have even agreed that I should leave a review IF THE ORDER HAD BEEN CORRECT. So all in all the food was decent although the order was wrong and we basically had to beg for ample amount of condiments for our order. The customer service needs work for sure. Last night in Houston, checking out the arcade next door, walk out and see the sign for Big City Wings. Definitely regret the decision entering this establishment. As soon as we walked in the hostess told us to take a seat and someone would be right with us. She saw us sit in the front and then 5 minutes later decided to tell us that she meant to sit at a table and a server would be with us. We sat in the middle of the restaurant and it was not busy. 25 minutes go by and no one has made even eye contact with either of us. The absurdity of failing to even meet my eye-line or treat us with basic human decency is so embarrassing for any kind of mission statement the business owner may have but have employees who fail to exceed, let alone achieve it.
