Big City Wings has really good food, especially the wings, potato wedges, and fries. When everything is fresh, it honestly really hits the spot. The staff is nice, the place is clean, and it's a good spot to sit back and watch sports. One cool thing is that if you answer their phone call for a review, you can get free waffle fries or fried pickles! I will say though, I personally prefer eating there instead of ordering takeout. Every time I've gotten it to go, the wings, fries, and wedges end up getting a little soggy by the time I get home. The flavor is still there and it still tastes good, just not quite the same as eating it fresh in the restaurant. So if you can, I'd definitely recommend dining in for the best experience. I love Big City Wings, but this location does not do it for me. I have only visited this location on a Tuesday for the buy one, get one wing special. The two times I've visited this location, they had only one table of people eating around the time 1or 2pm. The lighting is warm with natural light at the front. The staff are cordial, but not overly friendly. The first visit in March our waiter got sarcastic with me when I asked him a question pertaining to the condiments. I took it as maybe he was having a bad day. The food comes out and the wings are overly cooked making the meat dry. I didn't enjoy the wings that day, but gave them another try this week. Upon entering we were greeted with a friendly smile and welcome in. But when we asked for a booth there seemed to be a problem, because she made a face. I ordered the Tuesday special, which does not come with a side of ranch or bleu cheese. Ranch or bleu cheese is a la carte on the Tuesday/Thursday specials. I ordered a small waffle fry and wings with the flavors lemon pepper/hot. I asked if the wings could be extra wet. The wings came out and they are not extra wet like I asked. When I inquired about getting additional sauce it would have been a $1 charge, so I opted out. Upon eating the wings, again the wings were dry. I was so disappointed. The fries were good and I mostly ate those. One of my friends ordered wings and the other a burger on a jalapeño bread, wedge fries, and avocado egg rolls. My friend who ordered the wings also stated her wings were dry. My friend with the burger stated the meat had no flavor, but the wedge fries were good. She stated the egg rolls were okay, but not as good as Cheesecake Factory. The second Big City location, I have eaten at and thoroughly enjoyed is the Atascocita location. The wings are always fresh, never overcooked, heavily sauced when asked, and always busy! It is hard to find parking at the Atascocita location and I know why. Went to lunch today. Ordered bone-in wings. Asked about any dry rubs they might have and was told about three, though they were not noted on the menu. I ordered the Crawdaddy "dry rub" as directed, plus I asked for all drums. What I received was wings soaked in a wet Cajun flavored sauce, not a dry rub. I also received both drums and flats. And the wings were swimming in grease. I asked for napkins and was given the little bar napkins....With wings. The plus? The beer was cold and the young lady waiting on us was courteous and efficient. It should've been a tip off that the place was close to empty at lunch time. The service was slow on a Wednesday. It was very slow, not many people inside. It took over 15 minutes to be treated by the waiter with "what can I get you" without receiving menus. I felt that I was at a drive thru over a sit down restaurant. Additionally the waiter was uneducated on the menu and advised us $5 whiskeys were all day. I'll start with the positive..the beer was the only positive thing about this visit. We got mango habanero wings and spicy tajin, along with sweet potato waffle fries and cheese blocks. The wings were definitely mid, not very juicy but more on the dry side. The mango habanero sauce was good but the tajin was very salty. The fries were pretty soggy. And the fail of the evening was the so called "cheese blocks" as you can see they are just cheese sticks, the breading was pretty thick and tough. The 10 wings/fries were $20.75 and the trash "cheese blocks" were $12 way over priced for what they are. I would not come here again and hopefully you are reading this review and try somewhere else. The place was pretty empty when I went @6:30pm 10/4/25 now I see why. It was clean and the ambiance was fairly pleasant but that's about it. I guess the other 1 star reviews were right. Hidden gem. Food is delicious and service is friendly. Our waiter J was great. We had the waffle and wings (mango habanero). I ate every bit of it. The flavor of the sauce was delicious. The general manager at this location by the name of Matthew is not pleasant and I'm honestly shocked that this establishment has the is person as their "general manager". He was highly unprofessional and did not offer any type of solution or resolution to my issue. I order some wings for myself and my family and the bill was close to $60. I ordered a pick up order and got home just to discover they gave us regular garlic Parmesan versus spicy garlic Parmesan. I called the establishment to explain what the issue was. The overall issue was they messed up on a part of my order. On top of that we don't live close to this establishment. We are roughly a little over 6 miles away which is over a 20 min drive there and over a 20 min drive back home. While stating those facts I did not yell, curse or raise my voice to the general manager whom I was speaking with. The general manager I was speaking with was named Matthew. Matthew proceeded to respond to my issue by saying "ma'am you don't have to be rude, you're being rude". When in fact I was not being rude, I was stating facts. The general manger Matthew was unhappy with the facts I was stating. I'm hoping the calls are recorded and monitored so someone can go back and listen to the call. instead of offering a simple sulution of remaking the wings or even offering a refund he continued to be upset at me stating the fact that I don't live close and their wings are to expensive to be messing up on people's orders. Let's be real, this isn't Wingstop where you can pay $15 and get a 10 piece combo with fries and a drink. A 10 piece combo is $17, no sides or drink. So when a order is placed wether that's online or dine in, they don't hav room to mess up. The general manger Matthew proceeded to hang the phone up multiple times and not offer any type of resolution. General manager Matthew handled the issue poor and the fact that this is a "general manger" is sad and concerning. I will think twice before ordering and dealing with this location based on how I was handled and treated. We ended up talking to another representative by the name of Sarah to try and get a resolution. Sarah was some why understding but then proceeded to rush us off the phone an told us they are busy so they need to go. Overall the situation could have been handled simply but was handled poorly an I'm highly upset and disappointed by the customer service their g"general manger " Matthew provided. The service was okay, but the food was honestly terrible. This was my first time eating here, and definitely the last. The wings were so overcooked I couldn't even pull the meat off the bone -- they were hard like rocks and served cold. The sauce, which is supposed to be a mix of butter and mild seasoning, was also cold and separated -- the butter wasn't even mixed in because of how cold it was. Normally, wings come out steaming hot, but these looked like they'd been sitting out for a while -- the butter was starting to congeal. The fries were disappointing too -- I got maybe three whole ones, and the rest were just broken little pieces like leftovers from other orders. Overall, a really bad restaurant experience. We were two of four people in the restaurant for a quick lunch at 2pm on a Monday. The music was so loud we couldn't hear our waiter discuss the menu with us. We kindly requested the manager turn it down a bit. He said that he would "get chewed out by corporate" if he turned the music down. It was difficult to even have a conversation. We find it difficult when restaurant staff give us dubious reasoning for accommodating guests, our guess is there is now standardized volume across Big City Wings franchises and certainly not one that would be enforced on an hourly basis to accommodate guests who literally can't hear their waiter or each other. Excellent service! Our first time here and Roxanne, the general manager was so hospitable! She entertained us and provided us all the specials. Pierre, our server, was very patient. No wonder this place was dead on a Saturday evening. Ordered special didn't get extra sauce ordered, celery+carrots, or chili cheese for fries. When I had to drive back to get my sauce, the manager acted like she was doing me a favor by giving me what I paid extra for. I tipped 20% on to go order and when I requested to have it removed for obvious reasons she said they couldn't do it because they "have a new system" and I'd have to dispute it with my credit card company. Then, we found a hair INSIDE of our fry. When we confronted the manager, he blamed it on us instead of owning up to it. He was disrespectful. Overall, a terrible experience would not recommend. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. My friend and I went for lunch on a Tuesday. The server was super sweet, personable and took great care of us. I ordered the lunch portion 5 piece wing which came with a large Caesar salad. The salad was ok and I'm not sure why it came with onions but the wings were great! Let me stress that I like hot food. The waitress was kind enough to bring me a sample of the " original hot" sauce which was not to my liking as it had a strong vinegar flavor and did not have enough heat for me. I ordered the "extra hot Parmesan" and they were delicious! Cooked just right and by the time I got into my third wing I was sniffling and my lips were burning. That's a good wing to me! This place has TVs EVERYWHERE!! I couldn't even count them all. It is kid friendly. They have giant Connect Four, Jenga and a couple of arcade games. We went for lunch and dinner and we enjoyed all the food we ordered. The waffles were fluffy, and wings are crispy. They have a good selection of wing sauces to choose from and will combine them if you ask. The White Wings sounded too good to pass up and they didn't disappoint. I been coming to Big City Wings for a while this time I came in I had the pleasure of being waiting on by Eric and Eli. It was Eric's first official day and Eli was making sure he did a great job. They were very attentive and made sure our order was correct and everything we needed was taken care of. I order the Southwest Chicken Salad and it was so delicious. I also ordered a Strawberry Limeade and it was just right. I came with my mom who ordered the Avocado Burger and a Bloody Mary. She enjoyed the burger as well as the drink. Over all the service was a 10 the food was a 10 and I can't wait to come back again. The atmosphere was perfect as the manager Ervin came to see if we were ok as well. Maybe something changed in the last few weeks. Ashlee was our server and she made everything great. The store manager welcomed and seated us. We even met the regional manager. This is a Houston based company and this was our first time in. We are fans and think all Houstonions should drive past BWW and try these. Just as many TV's and better food/beverages. We went Monday night and the tenders (big boneless chicken strips) were $1 each. 5, 10, 15 or more. They will add sauces of your choice. We LOVED them. Diana enjoyed the frozen Margaritas and I ordered a large draft which was much bigger than any mug or Schooner-like a Route 44! Lots to love here, and we did! read more

I wasn't sure how many wings or sides to order and he patiently helped me pick everything- from sides to sauces.
