Atrociously organized pickups, difficult to communicate with over the weekend. The very opposite of what a venue needs in a rental company.

I think this company did really well! They drop off the tables and chairs in Friday (our event was on Saturday) and they pick it up on Monday. That gives you plenty of time to set up/clean up. The tables were sturdy and the chairs we got (the cheapest option) were actually pretty comfortable. They didn't sink into our lawn which was nice. We also ordered a week before the event and they were very prompt. I would get them again. read more

I searched several companies and chose this one because it listed McKinney as its' address and we were looking for a local company. The website was very easy to use and the prices were listed which made it very convenient. I spoke to a rep who was very helpful and friendly. They delivered and picked up on time. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because their warehouse is actually in Addison and we would have preferred to have picked up the tables and chairs ourselves to save the delivery charge (their offices are located in McKinney). We only needed a few tables and chairs so the delivery charge was equal to the rental cost, but overall a great company and I will rent from them again. read more

Was an hour late delivering tents, tables, and chairs for an event that I attended, causing a severe infraction on the sacrifice of time that the volunteers made to arrive early for setting-up. When asked for some compensation to the final bill (even waiving the $100 delivery fee), they refused. Definitely would not recommend this business to anyone. This was a first year for this event and drew over 700 attendees. It will be an annual event that will grow each year. I don't recommend this place for rentals. They have bad customer service. They provided me with misinformation numerous times when I wanted to reserve a rental for a big event. When I was ready to reserve I was told that the item I needed was unavailable. This didn't make sense since I spoke to to several reps (over a month) and an employee IN-PERSON that told me that what I needed was and would be available for my specified date and event. I became upset and called back to talk to a different rep assuming that the initial one, I spoke to, was confused and didn't know what she was talking about. Naomi answered my second call and was extremely rude and basically accused me of lying since I had no printed quote I could provide. However, when I came IN-PERSON I was never offered a written quote and no one sat down with me to crunch the numbers. Consequently, how is that my fault? I didn't know that they offered that service since that was my first time soliciting their services. When I called the next morning to complain to the manager, Chris, he confirmed that they were incorrect and what I needed was indeed available. He then gave me an obviously fake apology for troubles, because I had to scramble last minute to find another rental location, which added to my stress, since no one working at Big D rentals knows anything about what they carry in-house or giving good customer service. I ended up using another rental place, but was going to give this place one more chance, when last minute I needed something additional for my event. I called and asked about the same rental item they had given me trouble and misinformation about previously and guess what? It was deja vu. The woman who answered the phone said they didn't have the same item, until I told her I talked to the manager recently and he stated otherwise. She then put me on hold, and came back to confirm that I was correct. I decided to look elsewhere again. Obviously the staff isn't properly trained and the manager didn't take my issue into account and inform the staff about giving out accurate information and being familiar with the items they have in stock. I doubt he talked to Naomi about her rudeness either. If you're executing an event and want to rent something from this place be careful. You could get screwed over, since no one there seems to know what is going on and will give you mixed information for a month and a half. That was my personal experience. 0 stars! read more

This is my very first time working as a event planner and I was so confused about the rentals. I was looking online and I found B T Rentals with the highest review, I knew few places with good reviews but no good service but I still wanted to give it a try. I went there and as soon as I walked in I got a very postive vibes. I love the setups , I love their rental stuffs. Christie was very approaching and came by herself to ask if everything was ok, she made sure to provide very single details of the items and even helped us setting a table. She went beyond anything to help us and made changes as often as we wanted, and she was very patience. This will be my goto place for rentals and I recommend this company to all the beginners as a event planner because it was very very smooth and east to go with with not much of a hassle. read more

Big D Party Rentals was so awesome to work with! They made the wedding planning process a lot easier. At first we were going to have a pretty big dance floor. We booked it, put down the deposit; but months later our wedding date unexpectedly had to move, and with the new date...we wouldn't need the dance floor anymore. I called thinking there would be no way they would budge, but they did! Instead of the dance floor, we were able to quickly and easily switch our order to tables, chairs, linens, and a few other things we needed. So nice! Everything arrived perfectly and looked beautiful. Such a great company. If we ever need rentals for an event again, we will definitely be using Big D Party Rentals!. Absolutely love them! read more
