Today I got to meet one of my favorite Yelpers, Gloria, while visiting family in Oregon. I used…read moreYelp, ofc, to help me find a place mid way between us. This seemed like a good place. It was an interesting location...a cross between a rustic antique store with a really good coffee bar. We sat inside and enjoyed our Blackberry lemonades. (sorry, no pic of my drink. I was too excited to see Gloria! Just being honest. *The coffees and blended drinks looked delicious *No restroom inside! We had to walk a block up the street to use the restroom in the Dollar General. Oy! *Plenty of parking

I had never heard of Glendale and didn't imagine finding such a cool coffee house there. It is so interesting with books and other items for sale all around so you could enjoy shopping while you sip your drink. They have a good selection of drinks that can be made either hot or iced. We both chose the blackberry lemonade which was delicious-not to sweet or tart. Perfect on a warm day. *The Good: Service was good. Enough seating-there are couches, soft arm chairs and a table with chairs. It was the perfect place to sit and get to know lovely Te-See. We were able to sit at a comfy table and chat. *The interesting: No cell service anywhere in the town for my provider. No phone call, texting or checking in on Yelp. There was Wifi but it had no service either-so it may be spotty or gabby just needed to restart it. *The bad-no restroom for customers. Seems like they should have this where they serve drinks.

Stopped in for a hot tea one evening on a visit to Grants Pass. I saw online they had Pavlovas…read more Sadly those were all sold out but I took a delicious double chocolate cookie and also a passionfruit mousse that the staff person said was her personal favorite. Ordered a London Fog to go with it and headed back to my hotel. The service was so welcoming and friendly and her suggestion was spot on. I will not forget that passionfruit mousse ever. Dusted with grated chocolate, it was so rich and creamy, had this subtle caramel-like tone, and yet the passionfruit powered through. Every bite was a true delight. If you are a passionfruit fan you will want to lick the container so you don't miss a morsel. I did not, but definitely wanted to! They add lavender and honey to their London Fog tea which was delicious. I will definitely go back when I next visit GP.

We also enjoyed their homemade, creamy gelato. It's the best gelato in the area and a must try! The service was fast and the staff is super friendly. We were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. The owner was nice enough to talk to us about the restaurant and his story. The ambiance is chic and inviting. They have beautiful artwork on the walls and nice lighting to give it a warm winter vibe. We love this place and will definitely be back when we visit Grants Pass!

We sat down fast and ordered pretty quickly. I ordered a pesto bacon and egg biscuit sandwich it was 10/10. I actually used the raspberry jam my mom got with hers and mixed it with the biscuit which made me end up buying the jam to go. Fresh homemade jam for $8 what a steal!! I fell in love with this restaurant, it's too bad I don't live in Medford or I'd be a frequent customer.

It is a small, intimate space where we were greeted with a big smile by the hostess and our waiter came by soon after we were seated. It was a chilly walk around the corner so I was looking for a hot coffee to warm me up. Having never been here before I opted for the special of the day, which was something with lavender in it, and I was surprised at the delicate way the latte both supported the robust coffee flavor and the delicate lavender addition. It was better than I anticipated and I knew that we had stumbled upon a gem of a spot that emphasized quality of what they serve. Now, for breakfast, I love a good gravy but I am always disappointed by my order. The country gravy is usually too thin, to bland, too chunky with some sort of meat product, and too small of quantity to really enjoy a good biscuit with it. With this skepticism in mind, I ordered the "The Works" assuming at the very least, the addition of fried eggs and ham were good enough to eat on its own when the gravy, which I also assume will disappoint me, runs dry. I apologize for my assumptions, ButterCloud Bakery, because I was served a thick, seasoned, peppery gravy and plenty of it. This is actually the best gravy I have ever ordered from a restaurant, if I was not traveling, I might have bought a few sides of this delicious concoction and brought it home for the next several mornings! Nothing skimpy on my plate. My husband ordered the beef and blue and devoured every last bite. I managed to steal a few bites off his plate and was pleasantly surprised, I did not expect to like it as much as I did. I stole a few more bites when he was in the bathroom! We left very satisfied with our meal, our drinks, and our service. Fast forward a few months later and we are traveling with my parents to California and we insisted that we stopped by ButterCloud Bakery to share our gem of a find. My mom considers herself quite the cook and she also was skeptical of the gravy. One bite and her eyes popped...she was also impressed. This time round I had the scone and gravy and enjoyed every last bite. My mom tried a specialty hot chocolate and I, again, had the latte special of the day, both were rich with flavor. Our second round at ButterCloud Bakery did not disappoint and we have decided it will be our go-to spot when we are in the area, there is still a lot of menu items to try!
