Aimée and I spent New Years climbing Mt Washington - well, attempted. Weather warmed up and we couldn't get to the top ... but as consolation we spent NYE at Big Day. Our visit was covered by Kelly and Christian as a wedding present ... and did not disappoint! Aimée had two orders of the Brussel Sprouts, and we shared the Poutine, which not only had deep fried cheese curds, but also a terrific horseradish sauce. The chili was delicious; it's spicy, so make sure you're ready for that. I am not a fan of IPAs, which there are many on tap. I did have their lager which was excellent. Highly recommend, and we'll be back (on our own dime) when we attempt to summit Mt Washington again. read more

Good beer, good severs but food took about 2 hrs- we weren't informed that there would be a delay and ended up having to wait well after we wanted to for our food. The kitchen is too small to accommodate the amount of people they can hold. If you're looking for a quick beer be prepared to wait or go to a location in North Conway. read more

Stopped in for a quick app and beverage. We shared the Gorham Gobi which is the best thing ever. (Is it tacky to ask for a straw to slurp up the sauce?) I'm not beer drinker and wasn't expecting to like the red wine, but it was also really delicious. Husband had the Night Ride Stout and gave it 10/10. The Gobi is 20/10! Gorham is a great little town, and it now has a great little brewery. Excellent beers can be found here - smooth, crisp lager, a stout that's delicious (as someone who doesn't often choose stouts), and solid other selections. Food is also next level - surprisingly good wings (ask for well done), burgers and sliders. Overall, it's well-run, has great food and beer and a great vibe. It is week one so they're still working out a few logistical kinks. You have to order beers at the bar, but can order food from the table, for instance. Highly recommend. read more

I came here for dinner and a beer after a day in the mountains. It was awesome! The hostess, Maria, was so sweet (even shook my hand)! My waitress was the perfect amount of attentive, and the two young men that brought food and a beer over were also very nice. Beer - great. White mountain slider - best I've ever had! Sweet potato taco - also amazing, so much flavor. There was even live music which was a bonus! I highly recommend this place for hikers, couples, and families coming through the area! read more

It's New York City north of notches high priced smug service this place is emblematic of what happens when capitalism comes North and paves an acre of land and builds something so out of place it is grotesque. On a lighter note the over priced beer and food is OK. The design of the place is a nightmare, but don't take my word for it go visit. There are several great choices for food in Gorham where you can get great service, good food and fair price pass this place by. Say no to Wall Street invading the North Country, there is plenty of that in North Conway. read more

Average food but really good beer, great space and very friendly staff and patrons. I had the black bean quinoa burger which was a bit too mushy and a bit too small for the bun. The beers were quite good (drank a porter) and I would go back for one if in the area. A number of people came in to order canned beers to go while I was there which is usually a good sign of quality. The interior space is very well done and works for groups or solo. read more

They have great beer and above average food that doesn't always get to you at the right temperature. The outside dining is a nice addition. The place can get busy with long waits, but it's a serve yourself bar so you don't have to wait for the staff to bring you drinks. read more

The beer is good but a really good cocktail at a brewery is crazy. Get the old fashioned with a side of churros, trust me. They have live music and the staff are super friendly. The beer is decent and really can't go wrong but the star of the show is the ambiance. read more

Been here twice after hiking, both experiences were really disappointing. The service is simply terrible. I want to like the place, hence the 2nd trip, but it didn't improve. The food is reasonable and the beer is good. The physical location looks nice and new. Both times our orders were messed up in different ways, between servers forgetting our food, bringing the wrong stuff, or dropping off french fries and leaving us with no condiments. Place has potential, and I really wanted to like it, but it just has atrocious service. Hopefully they can work those kinks out. read more

Sorry for the poor review, but I've frequented many restaurants with poor food but great service. This place had good food but very poor service. We waited for quite a bit to get our drink order in. Finally got it placed and a little while passed when we got our drinks. No problem. Then it took awhile for the server to take our order but finally that happened. I completed my beer while waiting for our food order to arrive. Our server walked by numerous times, but never stopping to ask if I'd like another beer. Finally I flagged her down and ordered my 2 nd beer. A little while passed when our food finally arrived. I'm still ok with everything but then I dared to ask for a side of mayonnaise and hot sauce! It was as if I was asking to get my car waxed while I dine! My server told me...."I think we have Mayo but not sure about hot sauce" I figured, ok I can live without hot sauce , but Mayo for my burger and fries is a must. Well I waited 10 mins after my food was delivered, still no Mayo or hot sauce so I started to eat my already cold slider and fries. Finally a sign of hope. A runner comes towards me with a small cup. I'm certain it's Mayo but no...... it's just hot sauce. Before I could even ask " where's the Mayo", the runner was gone. I completed my meal, had to flag down the server to get the check and when she finally asked if everything was ok? I replied " never got my Mayo". She then proceeded to tell me that she needs to put a ticket in for Mayo and apparently they didn't have any. Then she said something to the effect that management doesn't always listen to recommendations after I suggested they get squeeze bottles of Mayo similar to the catsup bottles they have to round out the basic condiment offering. At this point I was too frustrated to even ask to talk to a manager, thus if they even bother to read this I suggest you ask your sales rep for squeeze bottles of mayonnaise to accompany the condiment offering. Who doesn't have mayonnaise?? The server didn't really seem to care what I thought , but in the end I was disappointed, thus won't be back . read more

Got the fried chicken sandwich, food was cold when we got it, the coleslaw they said was house made def wasn't and it didn't even have hardly any dressing on it. We also had chips and salsa. The salsa was flavorless. Tasted like watered down tomatoes. I would have rather gone to McDonald's. Don't waste your time or money. The service was ok. Although she could have paid more attention to the kitchen. Our food sat on the counter for almost 10 minutes before getting it. There were only two other people in there besides me. The only good thing about the place is the atmosphere. I didn't care for the chairs. They were uncomfortable and small. Had to backs or arms, they were just stools. read more

Stopped in for food and refreshments after our yearly spring pilgrimage up to Tuckerman Ravine to watch the skiers. This is my second time here and both times have been spot on. They are dog friendly which was a plus for us as one hiker in our group was a dog. Sat outside in the new area and enjoyed the birthday IPA and margaritas, which the ladies raved about as much as we enjoyed the beer. Four different plates ordered, Steak taco, Noodle bowl, Huntington chicken sandwich with sweet chili sauce, and the chicken wrap. All the dishes were yummy. Overall not to thrilled with this place..... my husband and I were excited to try it since we love breweries and we live local. Firstly, there is virtually no customer service here. You need to seat yourself and stand in line to get a drink, which takes away from the whole going out to eat and being waited on thing. We were not greeted or welcomed at all. Pro to it, I didn't drink too much because I didn't want to stop conversation and visiting with my friends and family to stand in line. Then you have to scan a Q code to order food, which if you are ordering separately causes everyone at the table to get their food at different times. When the food is ready, this is the first time someone comes to talk to you. They come to the table and bellow out what they are holding for you to have to hold your hand up or speak over the crowd to get your food. Some people at my table were finished eating by the time others food had arrived. It also seemed very disorganized, many time I saw the waitstaff trying to deliver food and going to the wrong tables with it. You have to get up to get your own napkins and ketchup and if you would like water there is a self-service water bar area. The food was over-priced and not good at all. I got the caprese panini sandwich. Paid $5 more for fried chicken to be added. The chicken was virtually non-existent. The bread had a nice crunch though. My husbands $6 taco (yup one taco for $6) was obviously canned chicken, cold and bland. He took one bite of it, looked at me and said, "We are never eating here again." This is coming from a Hispanic man. :( He then proceeded to add salt, pepper and a squirt of ketchup to be able to eat it. We also ordered wings, which seemed ok. An order of french fries, that had and odd raw floury after taste to them and an order of onion rings that were soggy from oil and floppy with no crunch to the breading. The drinks were standard, a little high in price, but average for home made brew. I don't drink much for beer so I got a very short pour for my wine for $10 a glass. You pay online, which they presumptuously and rudely automatically add a 20% gratuity to your bill. (please note all the waiting on yourself you do here) Then after you pay that bill you have to stand in line again to pay your bar bill. Very big turn off. All in all, my table of 4 spent about $200, we each only had two drinks, and we left hungry. Good thing I had stuffed shells in my fridge at home. This place definitely has the potential to be pretty good if they do some major tweaking to their customer service procedures and food. Very disappointing.....Too bad...... I don't think we will go back unless there is change. Luckily for them they might do ok, being in a touristy town they will have new unsuspecting customers that don't know any better every weekend.. They don't have to worry about repeat local business just like the rest of the sub par restaurants in the Berlin-Gorham area. read more
