Two nights in a row and we had the same waitress at two different places... clearly there are only a few restaurants in this town and we found the good ones. I saw photos of the three meat pizza and all of a sudden had a craving for that doughy crust. It did not disappoint. New Hampshire Trip We are staying at the Omni resort and luckily we found Rosa Flamingos about 20 mins into town!! Started with the chicken wings in sweet chili, juicy wing in a sweet and savory sauce. We ended up ordering Three Meat Pizza with banana peppers and onions. The pizza was delicious, thick crust and covered in toppings! I ordered the orecchiette dish and man I gobbled up every piece! We really enjoy Rosa Flamingo's, such a great place to enjoy a nice meal on the terrace with live music and good times. The blackened wings are always a favorite and the arugula salad is fresh and flavorful with a bright citrusy dressing and shaved fresh parmesan. Our pasta dishes were great and my husband enjoyed the beer selection. Sometimes it's also the "little things," like when I ask for sparkling water and lime hoping they might have something besides bar soda water, and they offer me a large bottle of Pellegrino. I really wish I could have given them a higher rating. Even though our waitress and the food was great, it was such an overall poor experience that I don't think I would return. We went for dinner on a Saturday night. When we walked in one other party walked in ahead of us. Our names were taken and not another word. We waited over 30 minutes, with another 3-4 parties coming in all stuffed in the very small front area without any staff saying a single word to anyone again. We watched as multiple tables finished and left with the tables not being cleared while we all just stood there without any sort of acknowledgement from staff. The wait wasn't the issue, it was the complete lack of communication from anyone there. When we were finally sat in a mostly empty restaurant it took another 20 minutes to even get drinks. It took about 20 minutes just to get 2 deviled eggs and 30 minutes for the poutine. The pizza was also delicious but again took way too long for the limited amount of tables there. Our waitress was extremely apologetic and finally told us they had the host and busser call out that night. Which obviously happens but I don't understand why there wasn't someone else there, like a manager or owner that could have stepped in to help and give guidance to the staff that was there. I feel like it was a very poor experience that could have been avoided with better management oversight and some communication. read more

When you go to a small town bar you never expect much. Most treat you better than you would have thought, sometimes it's average, rarely is it sub-par. It's tough to emphasize how poorly the staff treated me at Rosa Flamingos. I ordered a whiskey on the rocks, a simple order, and was given a glass with white scum floating around it. Thinking it would be an easy exchange i brought it back to the bar to show the bartender. She looked at it, said I didn't serve you that, dumped it out, and walked away. Still in awe and jaw on the floor, I stood there. When I asked for a replacement, she said "well I'm gonna need your card." Rather than acknowledging the fact she gave me a dirty glass, she poured the whole thing out and tried to get me to buy another. I've never felt so disrespected as a patron. read more

Truly LOVE this restaurant. There are so many creative and unique options to choose from on the menu. If you're eating upstairs, the outdoor patio is adorable and tastefully decorated with lights and lots of greenery. If you come in after the upstairs dining area closes, the bar downstairs stays open until 11. It was a great place to watch the Pats and my family has enjoyed going there after a long day of skiing. Rosa Flamingo's has at least 12 unique flavors of chicken wings that are seriously delicious. The poutine was insaneee! (In the best way). It had gorgonzola and herbed beef gravy topped with Cabot sharp cheddar cheese. Did I mention hand cut fries? You can even get a fried local duck egg on top if you wish. If all the fixin's on poutine aren't your thing, you can just order the traditional hand cut fries with dipping sauces including truffle ketchup and garlic balsamic aioli. The pizza is authentic Italian style and I think my favorite out of all of them is the quatro formaggi which is a garlicky white 4 cheese pizza with marinara dipping sauce on the side. The rest of their pastas and main dishes are incredible as well. I'm also a huge fan of their calzone. Service has been consistently thoughtful, enthusiastic, and great. Overall, I'm realizing I am a fan of literally everything about this place! So sorry if this sounds like an ad for Rosa Flamingos, I just love this place and feel like it doesn't get the credit it deserves! After seeing the majority of the reviews, I was excited to try this place. We were seated at 4:40 and ready to place our order by 4:45. We ordered two appetizers and two meals and then were told that we could not put our dinner order in until 5 o'clock and asked if we minded waiting 15 minutes. Of course not! We ordered a scallop and pork belly appetizer and the mussels. 2 scallops and 1 1/2 slices of pork belly. for $19! Good Lord. The mussels were okay, 4 were closed and inedible. 6 were missing mussels from the shell. meal came out at 6:15. IT WAS PIZZA! The 3 meat pizza's cheese was delicious but the dough was over an inch thick. $100 meal and I wasn't impressed. the waitress was bartending for the other table that arrive after us and asked 2 times how our first bites were, never offered a water refill and only got one after we asked. Never apologized for the wait but other tables had their apps before us and we were there 30 minutes before them. So dissatisfied. I wouldn't go back! read more

This review is based solely on food quality/price. I ordered "butternut squash" ravioli which ended up being ravioli filled with mystery-tasteless-substance (potato starch? Rice flour? Really no clue) that is covered in a orange sauce (presumably where the butternut squash comes into play) which tastes like pure maple syrup with a kick of spice. And then there is a heaping serving of maple bacon in the middle. Unless you have the palate of will Ferrell's Elf character, I don't suggest this dish. Located in quaint Bethleham, NH, this place serves up a some very good eating and at very reasonable prices. Italian American fare with great pastas and pizza. During the summer the terrasse is just wonderful and they often have a band or musician playing. Food wise, their burgers, salads and steaks are great. Also their fried goods are nice.. My father in law recently moved into the area so we decided to try this place. It not the healthiest choice of option but the food and beer selection was pretty good. I was actually surprised! Service was great, I only saw one lady (Hillary) running the floor but she did a great job. The drinks never stopped coming and the food came out pretty quick. We had a party of 7 and ordered a few appetizers, some sandwiches and other entrees. Everything was really good, no complaints. I will definitely be back on our next family vaca. read more

Coming off of the trail system after hours on our sleds, we saw the signs for this place off to the side of the trail. We decided to follow the trail to the restaurant and if we didnt go further on our own with some guesswork....never would have found it from there. Needs better signage on the trails! We figured out we had to cross the street, didnt look open, approached and brought the sleds out back to find that it was open (at least downstairs). Was a little apprehensive and was super surprised at the menu once we sat down. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. A lot of farm to table candied bacon and deviled eggs.....YUM....meatball...very good...charcuterie was excellent. A casual stop for dinner after a long day of skiing! I would recommend having a reservation because the place is a bit small. They do have outdoor seating in the summer time which frees up more tables. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. If you do have to wait for a table, there is a cozy bar and lounge area downstairs. read more
