Great people, Yummyyyy espresso pretty good food but a little pricey. Would still smash again!

Smash burgers are fresh and delicious. The brioche bun is soft and compliments the beef patty. Fries are hot and quality. Order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. Seat yourself. This place is very busy at lunch so be patient. It's a loud space but conversation isn't hindered. The fried fish and shrimp are also good. Add a real ice cream of your choice milk shake. My family of 5 stopped here on our drive home from Houston. We wanted a quick lunch right off the highway without going through a fast food drive through. This place was perfect for lunch! The food came out piping hot, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered the fish dinner (moist and flavorful), my daughter ordered the shrimp dinner, and everyone else ordered a cheeseburger. All their burgers are smash burgers. They also sell ice cream, but we didn't have room for dessert today. My kids said that this is where we should stop for lunch anytime we drive back from Texas in the future. read more

I was visiting from out of town and heard about this restaurant in a food discussion group that I am in. I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly lady who I believe is one of the owners. She recommended the fish fillet to go with the red beans. I am so glad that I did this. The red beans came out with the cornbread and the fish fillet. Everything was so good but what really stood out was the fish fillet. I have eaten a lot of fried fish in my life but this was hands down the best piece of fried fish that I have ever had. The seasoning was perfect and the crispness was perfect. I was amazed. The owners came and talked to us and I felt like I was in their home. They were so excited to see how much we loved their food. We decided to have some ice cream since they have at least 20 flavors to pick from. Folks, do not pass this place during your travels on I-10. I hope to return tomorrow on my way out of town but this time will order the fried fish and shrimp platter. I love the ambiance of this place as well, you will feel very welcome here. read more

Dirty floor where my shoes stuck. Slow service even tho' we ordered the Wednesday special. No unsweetened tea (really, in the South?) Tables too close crowded. I stopped in here for a late lunch with a friend. There was no line so we were able to walk right up and place our order. The cashier was friendly and helpful. My friend ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger and loved it. I ordered the Fried Fish Dinner with Seasoned Fries and requested Tartar Sauce. The Fries were delicious. The Fish surprised me because it was spicy. That combined with how thin and tough it was to cut on the edges would prevent me from ordering it again, but if you like spicy fish it would be right up your alley. I was disappointed that the tartar sauce was served in a packet. To me that is fast food level. Even just dispensing it into a dipping cup would elevate it above that. I would love to go back and try the shrimp next time. read more

I was on my way in and most likely getting a burger, and a woman leaving the restaurant stopped and asked if I'd ever eaten there before. I said no, and she insisted on opened her take out container to the show me what she said was "the best jambalaya she has had since her mom made it!" I'm from texas, so I'm no jambalaya expert, but I sure enjoyed it as well! A gentleman that I assume owns the place, Spencer, came to check and make sure everything went well with all the diners in the dining room. I'll be back for sure! read more

Food- perfectly fried fish & shrimp which was brought straight to the table, no sitting under the heat lamp. Special of hamburger steak very good & came with two vegetables. Staff- Friendly, courteous, helpful. My only negative is that at this price, you should not be expected to clean your own plate off the table. read more
