My husband and I decided to take a spontaneous Disney Trip and wanted to get matching shirts. I looked on Amazon, Etsy, local stores, everything but I couldn't find what I was looking for, or it wouldn't ship on time. I thought it would be difficult to make shirts within a 48 hour notice but why not give it a chance? I found Big Frog from an online search and was SO happy I found it! Their website is very easy to use - I described what I wanted through the website and someone named Harley reached out to me within an hour with a mock up of the shirts! We went back and forth a few times & I even created a custom logo of mine and my husband's initials on the back, which Harley easily put it on the back of the shirt from a jpg image I sent. Within 24 hours, I had two custom shirts ready to go for pick up. I am SO impressed with the professionalism, timeliness and quality of products! They have a large inventory of items that can be customized (but would def need more than 24 hours of a notice) and I will keep them in mind for any future personalized items I need. Found this place randomly. Needed a sweatshirt made as a retirement gift for a coworker. I decided on this place because it was close to me and they'll do single shirts/sweatshirts rather than strictly bulk amounts. They're VERY affordable. If you bring in your own shirt or sweatshirt the print is only about $15. I took dropped off my print and sweatshirt on the 29th of December (Saturday). I was told its a 24 hour turn around. However, they were closed boxing day and New Years (closed Sundays) so they could have it to me Wednesday. They said they would call that day when it was ready. All good. But Wednesday I never got a call! Maybe I shouldn't have but I let it ride and they called me Thursday around 1:30pm. I was at work so had my mom go pick it up for me. They didn't give an explanation or apology for being late with the order which I found a bit rude. The sweatshirt is beautifully done though. They did a good job. I recommend them based on their work because although the woman was VERY nice I don't care for the lapse in communication once they've taken my money. read more

I went here last week needing some simple graphics to be put on a greeter vest for church really a small job I needed Welcome on the front and Greeter on the back in large white letters. My experience was great they were friendly helpful and completed the job overnight and it was exactly what I wanted perfect size color and reasonable price. I've used big frog custom t-shirts a couple of times to get last minute bday t-shirts made for my kids. Typically I make these orders the day before they're needed and big frog has been able to get the design mocked up and sent for approval super fast and deliver quality product. In my most recent order I actually approved an error in the first mock up given to me and they had actually printed the shirt by the time I noticed later that day when I was relooking at the design. They were able to make the needed adjustment and provided a discount for the second order I had to place even though the error was not their mistake. We have ordered shirts several times, and they are always good quality and good price.

It's about $17 to get a shirt done. You can bring in a picture, or use their pre-purchased, royalty-free images and fonts. This is a perfect way to make a present for someone quickly, even the same day. My husband's shirt says: "West Nile Virus: I'm a survivor, not a statistic" [because that's what he is] and has a picture of a huge mosquito...I would come back again. This would be a good place, for instance, to get a onesie with a kid's nickname on it. Who doesn't like a personalized gift? They have koozies, mouse pads, onesies, bags, tee shirts, etc. The shirts come mainly in 100% cotton. I do wish there were more colors than white, cream, brown and green. They also have babydoll--is that what they're really called?--shirts with low neck lines. read more

I walked in on a Friday afternoon. Julia greeted me with the biggest smile and asked how she could help. I need ONE T-shirt with "SAVE JOEY" on it (a spoof for Joey Enticer on SW Nextdoor) please. "How soon do you need it" she asked, "whenever it's ready I replied". "What color" she asked, "dark green" I replied. "What font" she inquired, I told her "big block letters". And just like that she designed a cool T-shirt for me at about $25.00 How refreshing to have someone treat me as if I had asked for 1,000 shirts. What does a procrastinator in need of a custom-shirt do two days before an important March on Austin? She crowdsources her FB friends hoping for help. And when the majority of responses point to Big Frog, well, you contact Big Frog! Not only were they super fast to respond and friendly, they were also super excited about my design. So much so that one of their employees was considering printing one out for himself to wear behind the counter at work on the big day while the rest of us were out marching - you know, in solidarity. Fist pump, yeah! The best part was I ordered my design on a t-shirt they had in the store so it'll be ready by this afternoon. Score! And when I showed the design to my coworkers today and they were so excited they wanted one, too, I was able to call up Big Frog and have them add two more shirts to my order that will also be ready this afternoon. I didn't say anything about the shirts, good or bad. I wanted to wait to see what my co-workers had to say before I biased them in any way. Here's what I heard: -- Hey, these logos are crooked! -- Hey, my logo is lop-sided! -- This thing is not in the center. -- The logo is faint but it gives it that sort of vintage feel. When I went to pick them up, the gal who checked me out didn't seem pleased either. her: Pull one out and check to see if you like it. me: okay! her: ooooo. (pulls one out) this is not totally centered. *I didn't print these.* I would have done this differently. me: wow, that's a pretty faint print. It was clearer in the preview online. I wish I'd been called about how it appeared on this heather grey T-shirt first. I could have made updates so it would appear my prominently. her: yeah. It was an emergency and they had the shortest turn-around time. Emailing with them was super easy and they were eager and helpful. I might try them again but be a lot more vigilant about the job and allow time for any re-dos. I figured that wasn't an option in my case anyway as they don't carry the shirts I wanted in store and had to order them out before printing on them. Either way, not the worst but dang. Someone was a careless and it didn't take my trained eye to point it out to folks. Having not dealt with other T-shirt companies I'll give them the benefit of the doubt; it probably could have been worse. I don't wear T-shirts anyway. read more

I wish I had the excellent experience with Big Frog that other reviewers did. The store owner was icy-cold, not friendly and not at all helpful. Every question was met with exasperation and frustration. Both the owner and the employee were wearing denim shorts - way too casual, even for Austin. When asked about producing shirts for my clothing line, she led me to a computer that she clearly had no clue how to operate. She attempted to introduce me to one of their "graphic artists" who appeared to be a middle-school aged child and said that she was the expert on graphic design. Her Nike shorts and hoodie made her look like she just got out of school. When asked to help me, the child just walked to the back of the store without even greeting me or responding to the owner. The owner took my phone number down to have her "graphic artist" call me when they "weren't so busy" but I was the only customer in the store. In the middle of our conversation, a couple of people she knew (not customers), came in and she walked away without a word. She greeted them both much more warmly than she did with me (even hugged them both), welcomed them to the store and started showing them around and bragging about how busy they had been since they opened. She spoke to them for 7-10 minutes while I waited. Since she never said anything else to me, I left, but the owner did not even notice or say anything to me as I walked out the door The "graphic artist" never called. I really don't know how places like this stay in business. I wanted to love this place because I desperately need a resource like this locally, but I can't care more about helping them than they care about helping customers like me. read more

Oh Big Frog, you did not let me down!! First, they were super quick and worked with me to get the artwork I wanted on a shirt. After multiple changes we have a finished product. I called my credit card info in late afternoon and by lunch the next day they were ready. Quality- They look AWESOME! 2 ORDERS, BOTH SCREWED UP. First time I tired them the imprint was off center; they blamed it on the art. Second time, the imprint color was wrong; they blamed it on the t-shirt color. They just refuse to take responsibility for their incompetence--it's always the fault of something else. read more

So I had this little problem I needed help with. OK, maybe it was a big one. My daughter and I were scheduled to participate in our first off road duathlon. Since this was our first event together I had committed to getting to getting us team shirts made. The problem was I managed to injure myself and was late getting my order placed. By late, I mean I only had 8 hours. They took my ideas, created the graphics right then and there and rushed the order through for 4 shirts, each a little different. Needed a custom t shirt, quick, for a Christmas party. Jill was very helpful, initially on the phone to help determine if my design from the internet would work, and quoted me a price. At the store she helped me choose the right color, lettering etc. and printed it on the spot (half hour wait, came out great) because I had driven all the way from central Austin on a Friday afternoon. I have used Big Frog about 3 times now. Each time the customer service was AMAZING. I worked with both Carson and Julia to help place my order. However, two of the three times there seemed to be an arising issue, other than that they were great! Below are a description of my experiences. The first time, they were having issues with a plastisol shipment and notified me that I would have to change the colors of my shirt last minute, regardless they ended up doing DTG at no charge on a different color shirt that still looked great. The shipment wasn't there fault but it was still kind of disappointing having to switch the color last second. The second time, they did great! No issues, a few shirts missing at pick up but it was a large order and they had the missing ones ready to go early the next day! The third time, they did not seem to have the colors I wanted in stock. Carson worked with me so we could keep the colors and just switched up some of the shirt styles but when I received the shirts they seemed to be poorly printed. I used a different brand of shirt with the goal of it being more comfortable and soft (comfort colors). The design was hard as rock, many of the shirts seemed burnt from the printing and it looked a lot like placing a phone screen protector on your phone incorrectly if that gives you a good idea of how they looked and felt. I ordered 50 and about 20 came out as described. Everyone still loved them, i just know now that screen printing doesn't feel good on those kind of shirts. My husband and I own a local business here in Austin, used Big Frog twice now and all I can say is WOW! When we go in we always talk to Meg - she is literally a breath of fresh air. She takes her time, helps design tees/hats/koozies (you name it) and she comes up with some of the most incredible ideas. I cannot stress how wonderful, kind, patient, understand and creative Meg is. For example: my husband when in on a whim, took an hour of her time designing a UT mock up design for our tees only for us to have to change the entire look due to copyright issues. Understandable, obviously, but she wasn't frustrated at all. She smiled and was more than happy to start from scratch. This is just a small example, but overall the customer service is beyond amazing here. No delays. You can always speak to someone. Very communicative. Awesome product. Creative minds. I have been working with Susan now for a while as a client and love the work that she does for us. I have even sent people to here for campaigns, teams and other gyms. They do a great job. They once did something wrong and they completely re did the order, even though it was just a communication problem. I think they do that with everyone too. Plus they let me keep the messed up shirt. They really like to make sure that the people here are taken care of. I have had several shirts printed for my gym and even turned around and they did like 20 shirts in one day. What I like most about them is the free mockup. These people really know what they are doing when it comes to design. You give them half the work and they get you the rest of the work and more. They usually do a better job than you were even thinking. I only wish they were not so expensive, but hey you got to make money. I will always go here for shirts. Thanks guys! read more

Great working with Big Frog! They were super quick to respond to my emails and questions (thanks Kathryn!). I ordered some custom totes and turnover time was less then 24 hours the day before a holiday. The final product was exactly what I wanted and looked better then I'd expected based on photo quality (downloaded from facebook :)).
