I am no longer working at the restaurant and the house I was living in with the mold where I had to leave my dogs. The owner suddenly passed away February 9 now I'm faced with having to find a place that will accept to pitbulls along with no income car payments are getting behind I owed $1140. He talks me into putting a mechanics lien on my car to help me get on my feet. It's wrong it's fraud but I was desperate I agreed I find out from a letter when I go to take my dogs out of the moldy house that they're still living in that the bank has possession of my vehicle. He didn't even call me to tell me they picked it up. They paid $5700 for my car that he did not fix not to mention when I drop the car off I left them with $150 , at this point, I go by the shop and that's when he tells me he has cancer with his red blood cells. I asked what kind he gives me no name tells me he has to contact his company and he will call me tomorrow at this point he still not contacting me. I show up at the shop again. I'm told he didn't show up. He's in the hospital. I park around the corner five minutes later only to see Henry pull up to lock up his shop , he took me on a high-speed chase at one point I even asked him to not put the lien on it or withdraw it. Every time I would get something fixing another problem would arise a fee days later and I would bring it back in and it ended up costing me about $22,000 in total over about 2 months The last problem i had was supposedly a transmission line broke and the transmission needed to be rebuilt that cost about $6,500 I was without my van for well into 3 weeks because they said they were waiting for a part to come in for my transmission rebuild.. I finally got my van back and immediately started having problems with the way it was going into gear and shifting.. So I brought it to a dealership to get it looked at because I was tired of dealing with this mechanic shop and the amount of money I have spent there trying to get my van to work properly..it should practically be a new van .. the ac was the first job done and still having problems with that after them charging me $3,000.. Anyway back to the transmission rebuild.. Once I brought it to the dealership ,the dealership found that Empire auto care installed a junkyard Transmission in my van that had altered vin numbers and they charged me for a rebuild.. They knowingly installed a junkyard Transmission with altered vin numbers ( ground off ) with green spray paint.. Its a federal offense to tamper with any vin numbers on any Vehicle Motor Transmission I have filled a police report and filed a report with the attorney General office .. I have also hired an attorney as this place needs to be held accountable for what they have done .. This is fair warning to anyone reading this not to use this place as they come across nice but will cut corners and deceive you for profits .. They only offered to install a new transmission after getting caught so they could cover up the fact they defrauded me out of thousands of dollars... What they did to me is criminal and will be dealt with accordingly.. I would never use this place or refer them to anyone.. I don't care what it cost me they will be dealt with for doing what they did.. When I went in person I met with a gentleman named Abby and he was super amazing and informative. While I waited for my car to be serviced I spoke to him and enjoyed my conversation. He was funny and attentive. My car didn't take long to be serviced and the gentleman that serviced my car his name was Pinedo. He was super professional and he even left a sticker on my glass that shows when I have to do my next oil change. I would definitely come back to get my oil change with this great customer services.
