Unfortunately, as much as I tried they fell flat for me. I feel like it's someone's unorganized storage of ebay listings...and it could very well be. I don't think they know what they have in there and nothing appears to have any kind of organization with the exception of Christmas and artwork. I found a piece of artwork I did like, but was deferred by the prices (ebay prices, higher than thrift, more in line with an antique store) and the fact that it was stored so unresponsibly that it was damaged. I was greeted upon entry, so the staff (owners? who sit in a little room off the entrance door) were friendly. Everything else was a miss, from the lack of cleanliness, high prices, weird configuration of the parking, weak floorboards upstairs, and just the fact that the majority of what they sell is high for item and condition. Most items did have condition issues, with the exception of some newer (Target?) items on the first floor which were priced at retail. I suspect they came from a pallet purchase. If you're looking for deals there's much better places in the area.

When I tried to file a claim the insurance company refused to cover it. I called the store and requested their assistance and the response I got was that they have never had this issue before. Well - you have it now - how about providing good customer service and either getting the insurance to cover this issue or at least offer us a refund or a credit? Nope - nothing. I will never buy from EFO again - I will never recommend them - I will never be duped into buying an extended warranty again.

Well today I called to find out why I haven't gotten my money back only to be told that's not how it works. You have to contact them within 6 months of the protection plan ending and you get store credit for that amount of money to buy more furniture which is the last thing that I need. I verified with my daughter who was with me when I purchased all the furniture that this was never what was told to us. I've been waiting for this money to pay some bills only to find out now I don't get anything. The furniture is not good quality and if I would have known I would have used the protection plan to have it either replaced or repaired all of it. My son's bed literally fell apart the wood just split, my coffee table fell apart, all the wood pieces have not lasted and look terrible and the couch that I purchased along with a recliner chair and that love seat have not held up at all and they're only 5 years old. This is a really cute store, but is big enough to have lots of departments. It reminds me of the Woolworth's stores that I remember as a kid. It's big, no doubt, and has lots of items, but it does not have that impersonal, corporate feel of a super Wal-Mart. There are real people at the counter, who have real things to say (not off a script) and who are actually nice. They have toys, housewares, arts and crafts (which comprises a fairly large section of the store), small appliances, and even a 'dollar store' section in the back. And, prices are pretty low, which is surprising. Beiter's may be a chain in the PA area (I think there is more than one store) but it has not lost that real American feel of a good ole general store. Stop by next time you need something and don't want to wait on line, you'll be glad you did.

This Walmart has it's good and bad points like every other Walmart. For the good, it has a rare…read moreWalmart Fuel Station that has competitive gas prices. Parking is more than adequate. What I like about this Walmart vs. the Bloomsburg Walmart, is this store seems to have a better and more frequently restocked selection of items. The selection of items in the freezer section stands out. Where this Walmart loses out is due to being in a high theft area, a significant number of items are behind glass or locked up in some form. If a store does this, they need to have employees available at all times to come and get the items unlocked. This store does not seem to have those employees in the evenings to pull this off based on the roughly 10 minutes wait I had on a Friday evening. I left without the item. The self-checkout systems here are not as user friendly as other's I've seen, and the area to use them is constrained in space on the grocery side. This is also probably due to theft issues. Overall, I do like coming to this Walmart despite it being out of my way for the better selection compared to the Bloomsburg store.

It is two stars because they remolded some of it and they seem to be getting in better products…read more It's honestly one of stars because of the people who have moved into that area for the prisons. We have the Walmart app which if you use it right is cheaper than going to the store. I'm former law enforcement and I always carry in this store "if" I have to go. The staff is basically 90% of people who hate you and 10% who work part time and are happy. We always go to the other place with a red circle store 40 minutes away (with tons of restaurants)just to not deal with this mess unless there is something we need right away.
