Instead of directing us, she found the closest register and logged in to ring us up. (It turned funny when she couldn't remember how to open a register, as it had been so long since she had done so). However, she was incredibly sweet and determined to give great customer service! She also did not have a way of removing the sensors from our clothing (we were in the window department), so she walked us to the door! (And located my missing parents). Thank you, Christine! They didn't even really do any holiday decor. It's pitiful. Oh, it looks like the interior scene of an episode of the walking dead. The shame is this mall has the best locations of jcp, Sephora and bath and body works in the area (the others are not as nice). At least the mall has that going for it. The interior shops are mostly closed, a few fly by night temporary retail spots open and close randomly, the sushi place closed, most of the food court is gone, the movie theater just closed, there are no middle of the mall kiosks and most of the retailers with exterior entrances have blocked and closed their interior mall entrances. I'd hope this place could be renovated or something, but I don't know. I just go in the bath and body works and Sephora and jcp or staples if I want to purchase something and leave. This store is - odd.. they do carry a wide variety of lightweight home furnishings and decor, seasonal items, beauty, clothing, shoes, housewares, toys, gourmet food items, accessories, and baby stuff.. but it's so disorganized.. it's nearly impossible to look for anything.. it's like if Dollar General and TJ Maxx had a baby- it could be Gabe's.. I met my three goddaughters here to shop for school clothes. I thought that it would be fairly expensive because 1) I'm talking about 3 girls and 2) they wear uniforms. What I didn't realize is that the clothing prices here are insanely inexpensive; of course price is relative, but all things considered I still think that it is inexpensive. This was a pleasant surprise for me because they each were able to get a lot of pieces and the total was just under 50 percent of what I originally thought it would cost me! Oh yeah, happy dance time. For the most part, the clothes were fairly organized and most of the racks were full. We shopped during the last hour and a half or so before closing; the store wasn't very busy. This meant that I didn't have to wait in line. The service was about average, nothing to rave or complain about. I give it a 4 because it is a good place to shop for youth clothing and it is a plus that they carry items that fit school uniform requirements.
