The facilities are well-maintained, the staff are friendly, and there's plenty to see and do whether it's your first visit or your tenth. A few highlights from my visit: If you're only visiting Chocolate World, you receive two hours of free parking, which is a nice perk. Clean facilities, including well-maintained restrooms. A large gift shop with just about every Hershey product you can imagine. The free Chocolate Tour is a must-do and a great introduction to how Hershey chocolate is made. The tour ends with a free sweet treat, which is always a nice bonus. Plenty of activities for families, chocolate lovers, and first-time visitors. There are also several paid add-on experiences available, including: The Hershey Trolley Works tour Create Your Own Candy Bar Hershey's Unwrapped live chocolate tasting show Of these, I highly recomme nd the Trolley Tour. The staff dressed in old-time attire really bring the experience to life, and their energy, storytelling, and interaction with guests make it a memorable part of the visit. It's a fun way to learn about Hershey's history while being entertained along the way. One thing to note is that the store can become quite crowded during the summer months, so be prepared for larger crowds if you're visiting during peak season. Overall, Hershey's Chocolate World is a fun, family-friendly attraction that offers a mix of free and paid experiences. Whether you're stopping in for the Chocolate Tour, shopping for treats, or taking the trolley ride, it's a classic Hershey experience that's well worth a visit.

You can spend the whole day here doing all of the interactive activities and shows. Honestly, I think they're pretty overpriced and you would be better off spending your time at the Hershey Story museum downtown. However, I think it's a must do if you visit the park. You can go on the free ride about how chocolate is made- and then you get a free sample at the end! They have food options but I think they're pretty overpriced. I would only go if you're on a bus trip and don't have any other options. The gift shop is massive and has different merchandise than the park. They also have deals on certain chocolate items and sometimes have new products as well. The check out lines can get long but move very quickly. There is also a self checkout line than can be hard to find but is very quick. You have to stop by if you're visiting Hersheypark- don't miss it!

But while we're here, we picked up some fresh grapes for snacks to have later and now I realize that I need a loaf of bread and before you know it, I have 7 or 8 things in the cart. How did that happen? The store is tidy and clean. Quite well stocked and the prices seemed to be okay. We had no trouble at the self-checkout and everything worked fine. I would shop here again! Sadly twice in one week I've had to complain twice about the behavior of a young man John. He works at self checkout. He's very anxious to convince you that your credit and debit card is declined. He claims "the system doesn't accept Apple Pay, Chase or use of the phone to pay for purchases" He repeatedly told me I couldn't pay by phone. This was false. Payment was obviously made when the receipt came out. He walked away and said nothing. Again, stood and watched while I HAD 30 plus items. The regular register was closing down, same "John" stood over me again and watched me, offered no help. When I felt he was predatory, and borderline harassing me, I started to record him. He told me to stop. I told him it's my right in a public place. You may ask, I can decline. He was absolutely unbearable. The manager approached, confused. These employees are completely rude and incompetent. I cannot give this place business. I'll go to Giant.
