I was at the register and they were being extremely rude to a new employee working her first transaction. This employee was very nervous and apologetic the whole time to me for taking long. I worked in retail and was in no rush but when she went to ask questions the other employee male and young was so rude. They were annoyed at her for asking questions she was so frustrated she wanted to cry. I just kept reassuring her that I was not in a rush to take her time. This employee made the comment when that she was going to quit the job. I felt terrible for her and would have offered her a job if I could. This is unacceptable for anyone to be little someone for asking for help and not helping on the first transaction at the very least.

The merchandise is thrift store quality at best - holey, stained, old. Like most of the brands are no longer in business (coldwater creek, cache, lane bryant). They keep multiple racks stuffed full of clothes outside, regardless if its raining. I bet that's what's contributing to the mildew smell in the store. Prices are comparable to retail. I've never been greeted, but I can always hear the gaggle of hens gossiping at the back of the store about their colleagues and customers. Come for the show, but leave disappointed - hopefully before you have an asthma attack from the dust, mildew, and animal dander.

The people working here are busy but nice when you interact with them. The bathroom wasn't super clean but it got the job done. I wasn't expecting to get anything today and I ended up coming home with two planters that I've been needing for a while, so I think I'll definitely be back the next time I'm waiting to pick someone up from the airport.

This week I bought a pair of Mia slides that are waterproof, perfect for after my swims, and they have a Birkenstock footbed making them super comfortable with support for my feet. Love them! Just $30 and in a very on trend rose gold color with white buckles. Wore them to the pool the next day and a little girl complimented me! Too cute. My only complaint is that the store is so packed with items that when trying on shoes, there was nowhere to put the boxes while trying them on in front of the mirror. A sales clerk ended up vclearing off a stool so I could place my potential shoes there as I tried on different sizes and styles. A couple of my items wrong up incorrectly and the cashier promptly fixed them. My only complaint was the fitting room. It's tucked in the back corner so isn't the most convenient to get into to begin with. Then they were all being used so there was a line to get in. This space is also where the bathrooms are so it became a bit of a logistical nightmare. The associates in there also didn't appear to be the happiest to be there. Not friendly at all. It was also incredibly hot in the store and fitting rooms which made shopping a bit unpleasant.

Since the store is new, it's really clean and well organized. Like all Old Navy stores, they have jeans in every sizes style, length, width and waist height. I'm a fan of the original high-waist straight leg and scored a pair for just $22. Without a doubt, Old Navy has the absolute best athletic wear. Their leggings last for years and years of daily wear. They are made so well and also come in full, ankl, Capri and shorts so whatever season, whatever your style, it's here. The colors and patterns are beautiful and since it's all I wear now that I'm retired, I have dozens! My favorite are the powersoft with pockets in the thigh, perfect for carrying your phone during workouts. Wait until they go on sale and stock up when they are $19.99 rather than $39.99. The cotton ribbed tank tops are also a fave that I have in every color, ultioles in black, white and olive. They wash great, retain their shape and last for years. For $6, it's a steal.
