Was at Planet Fitness the other day. Noticed the store for the first time, and decide to check it…read moreout. I live in town, and like to support local businesses as much as possible. The place is basically an indoor flea market, with what appear to be items that "fell off the back of a truck" headed to Dollar Tree. Some other repackaged salvation army donations line the walls and back corner. As I said earlier, I try and support local businesses whenever possible, so I decided to buy something for that sole purpose. Up towards the front, I saw a nick nack skull gas pump thing that caught my attention. Much like a flea market, nothing is marked with a price. The shelf the item was on was maybe 10' from the register, so I picked it up and asked the clerk how much it was. He told me to bring it over to him, I obliged. As soon I handed it to him, him told me that it was broken. I wasn't interested enough in the thing to buy it broken, so when he asked if I still wanted to purchase it, I declined. The next 2 minutes sound straight out of and episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, but it's too random to fabricate. With no hint of sarcasm, the clerk asked me a second time, if I was going to buy it. I told him, no thanks, since he had literally just pointed out that it was broken. He said, "you broke it, but you're not going to buy it?" Again, no hint of sarcasm. All I could spit out was "what?" He repeated his asinine accusation. I reminded him that he literally watched me pick up the item and make the 10' journey to the register. He said, you must have dropped it. It was literally 10 FEET from the register, a straight line, in plain view. I told him that I would have never even known it was broken had HE not pointed it out. And I probably would have purchased it is the price wasn't ridiculous. Which brings me to the next level of insanity. He said, "since it's broken, $20." If I didn't know any better I would have sworn he was joking. In fact, I laughed and again could only muster up a chuckled "what!?" He asked a finally time, incredulously, "so you're not going to buy it?" Zero irony. I said "why would I buy something that's broken?" He somehow spun it around on me, where he was the bigger person, and threw out a "have a great day." Which I would have taken as a please leave my store, had I not already been standing in the doorway halfway out at the time. I guess it was worth the show, in hindsight. I've gotten some mileage out of that story already. p.s. after telling someone the story, I decided to look the item, brand new, up on Amazon. Remember, he wanted $20 for a broken, unpackaged edition (see attachment)

I never complain when I wait 30+ minutes to a hour because I know it's not his fault. He's always super apologetic and really nice whenever my order is taking long. Really sweet kid. I 100% blame his management for not hiring more people to help him. Do something about it. It's absolutely ridiculous you have one person bringing orders to like 20 cars and having to deal with the customers yelling at him. You're overworking your employees to the bone. You clearly don't have enough staff, so hire more people. I also hope you give Carlos a raise, because he 100% deserves it. Shame on management or whoever is in charge of Curbside. You guys are evil.

I have never been so disappointed with any store, and most with the manager. I bought an outdoor canopy for my kids' birthday, and after I installed it the very next day, it fell apart because some screws were missing and two metal rods were bent. I was less than 24 hours late when the return deadline had passed because of my personal issues, but seeing the manager, he refused to make an exception by being unhelpful and unsympathetic. It is an all-out case of corporate greed added to lousy customer service. read more

It's a hit or miss. I don't mind office supplies, home decorations. Some things are cute. I'd never get furniture here, terrible quality. And I don't like that they added grocery right next to Super Low, grocery store. I believe a neighborhood should be friendly competition. But it really is no competition, half of the groceries they have is close to expired anyways so you have to basically eat it on your way out to the car. I think the shopping center could use a much better store than Big Lots. read more

It's a hit or miss. Nothing is great about this store. Sometimes you find cute outdoor things for the home. Employees need to be a little more presentable. Gross. Thats really all I can say. The store is dirty, employees are not very friendly or presentable. The cashier was cleaning up cat litter then proceeded to ring up my towels. She wouldn't even take the time to pull up my personal book or my mother in laws, who gifted them to my husband. Also, keep in mind, there are no "rules" when it comes to Nordstroms return policy. She was strictly there to give me a hard time and make me feel like I was doing something wrong. Things only went downhill from there when she called her MIC. A male named Eric I believe? African American with a beard. He came down with a quickness and never made eye contact with me once. The two of them together couldn't make one good manager. I found him to be cowardly and an example of the company's poor onboarding & training. It's not too late to invest in a leadership program, let me know if you're interested. My three items were like-new and only tried on. My husband has a bad habit of washing all his clothes before he wears them. He did exactly that in September 2025 to realize the pants fit him poorly on the legs. Since when is that a crime or not allowed? I've posted the return policy directly from their website with my review. It's clear that Cathy and her MIC were only trying to give me, and likely many other customers, a hard time and not service. So much for playing by the rules.

It's crowded and I started to feel a bit claustrophobic. Luckily, being such a tiny space means you don't need to spend much time searching in there. I got 2 cards and a packet of M&M's for exactly $2.
