Cannot say enough about these delicious cookies! My daughter and I are shortbread cookie aficionados and also love a beautiful treat that tastes amazing! We ordered 8 dozen as favors for my daughters wedding! They were delicious and the guests raved over these cookies. I had placed an order with Maria for my sons third birthday way before the pandemic but decided to go ahead with the orders since we decided to mail out cookies as favors since we couldn't have an in person birthday. Maria was so amazing and professional and even accommodated an earlier date for pick up given the pandemic. The space birthday theme cookies came in individually packaged cellophane bags and was beautifully put together. Maria did a phenomenal job with my daughter's birthday cake and cookies! We had a cookies and canvas theme for the party. Maria made a cake that was like an oversized paint palette with paint brushes and tubes and the cookies were a mini paint palette. My daughters' guests loved them! The entire process with Maria was seamless. From the time I reached out to the day I picked up the goodies. She was always responsive. She did my son's 1st birthday Mickey Mouse cake, a cake I purchased for my god daughter and just recently my son's 2nd birthday cake. All I did was give her my theme for Thomas the train this year and she created yet another masterpiece. She is professional, always on time and best of all the cakes were delicious. I even asked for a last minute request of 12 cupcakes and she added them on for me with no problems and made sure the colors matched the main cake. I am with Caroline S. I can't say enough positive things about Maria. However, I hope all the positive words don't make her so busy she is not available for me. Yeah, selfish, I know. I knew immediately she was extrodinarily talented from looking at her work on her Facebook page. However, I couldn't tell how yummy all her items would be and how easy she would be to work with planning all the goodies for my son's birthday party. The cake especially was so adorable! It is soft, moist, not to oily, and has the perfect amount of rosemary and salt particle sprinkled on top. I can eat the focaccia straight up out of the bag while walking around the farmers market. We also tried to selection of their other baked goods. They have a good variety nothing too sweet. I decided to go to their Brick + Mortar location in Danville on a weekday around lunchtime (Wednesday). I was a little bit disappointed as they did not seem to have a large quantity or variety of baked goods. They only sell focaccia bread on the weekends, they said. Some of the baked goods we ended up getting since we were already there were from the display I guess it seemed like on weekdays they don't tend to bake a large quantity. It makes sense to me, however a little bit disappointed as I figured going to the mothership would yield me a greater variety. But it sounds like if you want variety and freshness it's best to go on a weekend, or go to the farmers market where they're at. Service was quick and friendly. There was one bigger baking in the back, and one cashier. The place was pretty quiet as it was a weekday and no one else was there. But also appeared clean and bright and well air-conditioned on this hot day. I do not recommend going to this location on a weekday. I would be interested to come back on a weekend to see what it's like. Either way Walnut Creek farmers market is a must go if you want to check out their variety.

I appreciate that shipping is available nationwide and that the delivery cost is incorporated into the menu price so it is easy to mentally calculate my total bill. Glancing at the menu, you can tell that After By Tori is pricier than your average bulk box of cookies at a grocery store, but you get the high quality that you pay for :-) They are open and receptive to feedback on their products and packaging as well. On social media, you are gifted with the additional treat of behind-the-scenes photos and videos as orders are being fulfilled and new recipes are being explored.
