Once it was my turn to pull into the bay things moved pretty quickly. They did the obvious upselling but they were nice about it and not pushy. They explained what it was and moved on when declined. They showed me the brand new parts they were going to install and there was a guy who came around to lubricate all the door hinges (never had that before). Once the new oil was in they showed you the dipstick and closed it up. You get a voucher for a free car wash. They had a coupon code on their site and offered a military discount (which was nice). They give you the next service sticker and here is my very small minor complaint, on the sticker your name is displayed along with your vehicle information. Vehicle info fine, but I think the name is a little much. No big deal I just didn't place the sticker. Overall this is a nice spot with efficient and friendly techs. All I needed was an oil change and coolant flush, and that was going to cost me basically $300. I waited in line for an hour and then service took another hour. I ended up getting just an oil change because they told me I need to take the car to a mechanic for a coolant flush since the engines are delicate (Volvo). I usually do a drive to Green Rider and they never gave me issues with anything regarding the car so I'm confused whether this place just doesn't know how to work on certain cars or what. No one seemed to know how to reset the oil level on the car so the maintenance thing could go away so there's that too. I saw another review claiming they don't know how to work on European cars, maybe that's it? On the bright side though, It's been almost two months since the oil change and a mechanic told me I needed an oil change (8/27/26) and my sticker says return date 9/19/26, so it's sort of accurate I guess. If you don't mind a bit of a far drive and have a European car, I'd definitely recommend giving Green Rider a shot. If they ever spotted any issues on any of my cars, they would let me know. I've taken American, Japanese, and European cars to them and they never gave me issues. The prices are also more fair for the service you get, you definitely won't be spending almost $300 on an oil change and coolant flush and they definitely would be able to give you the service you ask for.

We mentioned to the team (Noah & Jermerl) that we were sort of in a hurry, so they accommodated our schedule while delivering a superb, high quality service. They weren't pushy on any of the extras and the most impressive part was this: I had purchased a wiper blade for the rear wiper but I didn't have the tool to replace it, so it had been sitting in the trunk since last winter. When Noah told us he observed a torn wiper and offered to sell us a replacement, I explained to him that I had a new one but I just couldn't figure out how to replace it myself, he said he'd be happy to do it for me! I can call these guys, explain that I am in a rush, and they always do their best to fit me in and get me back on the road within about 30 minutes. They service our diesel vehicles, change the oil, clean everything up, and even wash the vehicle, usually for under $200. That is hard to beat. I have tried other SpeeDee locations, but they have often charged more, and the service was not nearly as friendly or efficient. Even though you may only be waiting 20 to 30 minutes, having a clean and comfortable waiting area still makes a difference, and this location does a great job with that. They also have some of the best prices I have found on air filters. For certain non American vehicles, you may need to ask them to order the filter ahead of time, but they are always helpful and straightforward about it. Based on their knowledge and experience, I know they offer many other services, but I personally use them mainly for oil changes. Every experience has been fast, professional, and easy. I moved up here from the Bay Area leaving 30 years of contacts including all of my mechanics, electricians, and the people who I had built professional relationships with for years. I had to built up a new rolodex of contacts who were trustworthy and honest business professionals. Being a woman who not only had a father who was a mechanic but many friends in the automobile industry I know a little bit about what we should be getting charged, how we are treated some times, and the up sales of services we really don't need sometimes. This Spee-dee Oil gets a 20 stars from me. The owners are extremely friendly, the employees are friendly and professional and explain each area step-by-step to the customers so they don't miss anything. Especially being a woman coming in I feel like these guys treat you like their own wives, sisters, or moms, or family members. Your not just a customer, you are part of their family. I have continuously recommended these guys to may friends, family members, teachers in the school district, people I meet etc.. They have always been courteous, welcoming, and try really hard to find the problem and get it fixed for the right price. I have had spark plugs, brakes on 3 different vehicles done, 2 radiators, filters, oil changes on 4 vehicles here as well. I always bring my business to them first. They are the most efficient, cost effective, reliable place I do business with. The waiting area even has coffee, snacks, and waters for the customers. If you haven't tried them in a while or never been there before bring your business to them and you won't regret it. Remember there might be some things they cannot do onsite but they will give you an excellent recommendation of where you can. We don't have the time for that either. My husband's runs a business and we have three young children with one on the way. I do not recommend this company. They are not ethical in any way and they'll do whatever to get out of a mess that they caused. Additionally, my husband witnessed a gentleman's rug mats being stolen out of his vehicle from a worker at the Roseville location and tried denying it. So sad. It had only been 2000 miles so she didn't really need an oil change until 5000 miles. So right in front of my face, I witnessed him turning away, free money to be moral. With my issue, he drove around with me, he talked me through everything that was going on. He fixed the problem quick and kept me informed along the way of the prices. When I got back, he went through everything again and was just the absolute perfect person to work on my car and I will always go back to him for anything. Phong, the manager, went above and beyond from the very first phone call. He gave me a incredibly thorough over-the-phone assessment for a basic service and an AC Freon adjustment (something the dealership had never even recommended in the 11 years I've owned the car). In person, Phong was just as engaging, warm, and professional as he was on the phone. The final price came out just slightly over the estimate because they caught another small issue, but Phong took the time to explain exactly what they did and walked through all of his recommendations. Most importantly, Phong noticed that all four of my tires had dangerous cracks on the sidewalls from running into curbs during tight turns, and warned me they could blow out at any moment. I truly believe his sharp eye and honest recommendation saved my life! I already have an appointment at Costco this Saturday to get them replaced.
