He was available in a time frame that was optimal for us, which I really appreciated. Our top priority projects were a clogged bathroom sink, and a pipe that needed replacing in the garage sink. He did both of those projects in the estimated time, or even a little bit less time. We also wanted the pipes replaced under the kitchen sink, because a previous plumber had put in plastic pipes, which had fallen apart, and were being held together with tape. We thought that would need to be done another day, but he had the pipes in his truck, and quickly replaced the plastic pipes. All of that work took less than two hours, and he had all of the parts he needed with him. The total bill, including parts and labor, was very reasonable. His team installed the plywood required for installing the granite or quartz counter-top. They also installed the new InSinkerator Badge food disposer under the kitchen sink. All happened a few years ago. On April 19, 2026, we called Rick again around 6:30 PM for help with an emergency water leak from a broken pipe-fitting connecting the fridge on a Sunday evening. Earlier that evening when we tried to replace the 1/4-inch water line, we had to undo the compression nut on a half-inch water line through the wall. The compression nut was removed but it wouldn't tighten and bite the half-inch tubing. Therefore the water leak. A lot of water leaked, flooding the kitchen. We had to shut off water to the house. We called several plumbing folks for help on a Sunday evening around 6:30 PM. To our surprise, Rick answered promptly, came over, checked the situation, said he would would install a valve and the required fittings to stop the water leak. After the new valve in place, water leak stopped. We restored water supply to the house. Before leaving, he showed us the type of angle valve we should get in order to replace the temporary valve. We did it the way he suggested. We are back to normal routine. We appreciated Rick's dedication to his work, customer care, and awareness of safety issues. His associates in his team did a good job.

His final estimate was lower than other contractors who were only going to replace the one valve in my garage. And then on the day of the scheduled work, Ivan and crew arrived on time and quickly and quietly finished the work. Ivan even came back after the job was done when I asked for small tweaks to the water pressure. I wanted a second opinion so I contacted Honrath & Stacey. They sent Joey and an assistant, and he said they could make the repairs using parts in the van.
