Incompetent. We use big o through work & I've always found them pretty decent, which is why I've hesitated to post this review. Put my truck in for a puncture repair - long story short they did an alignment after replacing the tires.....even though it had been into dodge a year earlier. They adjusted it - steering wheel wasn't even straight. Cut to 9000 miles (and a year later - I don't use it much) the inside front tire is bald on the rhs. Took it in as you can see the camber was wrong....."mechanic is out until next week" Made an appt, apparently needed a track rod end @ $286. Truck has 50k miles.....steering wheel was never straight after their "alignment" but I should've brought it back for the steering wheel - "you didn't complain" Nothing wrong with the tie rod, or the rack that I heard the guy ask the parts house "to quote for shits and giggles" They hadn't tightened the upper wishbone bolts from their bad alignment in the first instance! Oh, and I need a tire due to their INCOMPETENCE! Needless to say, the work contract is going elsewhere. read more

Bought a new set of tires a few months ago. Bubble appeared on the left rear tire. Took the car in today, they refused to cover it under the tire warranty. They said I hit something in the road. When I disputed it, the manager said he knew tires and it was due to something I hit. I told him while he knew tires, I knew my car and I did NOT hit anything. None the less, he still refused to cover it. I WILL NEVER recommend Big O in Green Valley!!!!!!!! read more

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, go to this place!!! My daughter got a flat tire and we have been waiting over 2 weeks for the new tire. We have physically gone to the store, talked to them over the phone and every time we get the run around as to why they still dont have the tire. We've been told they couldn't find the exact tire, then after they found it and it was on the truck for delivery it got "lost", then the tire was delivered to the wrong store (twice). Finally yesterday they said the tire had been on backorder. I don't know what to believe from these shady people. I called them again yesterday and was told it would be at a store in Tucson at 8am this morning and they were sending someone to pick it up. I just called the store, and yet again, got the run around. And still NO TIRE!!! I was told the car has "special" tires on it that are difficult to find. I am at a point where I would rather pay for 4 new tires from another tire store than deal with this anymore. I am starting towonder if my daughter and I are getting this treatment because we are women... This store deserves negative stars! I have a large social circle and will be telling everyone to steer clear! read more

Once again, Big O saves the day! I needed to have my Cadillac's tires relearned, and I knew how to get to the menu portion to relearn, but I didn't have the tire sensor reader, so it was not doable by me! I called Big O after WASTING my time and being treated f'ing rudely at the Firestone in Sahuarita! The young man that answered was so helpful after I explained what I need to be done. He told me to bring it in and pull up to one of the bays and someone will be out with the reader! I was there within 10 minutes! I pulled up, set the relearn button on my menu, and Matthias came out with the reader and within less than 10 seconds, he was done!!! WOW! First and foremost, what service! They were respectful & kind, and not rude like the idiot at Firestone! Thank you guys for the quick service! I may have to drop something off for you all! I've never been to a BigO tire location. I drive a used big SUV, with, sadly fancy tires. Flat tire this morning. Called AAA to switch out the spare, but the tire wobbled. So slowly I drove to BigO and Jose looked after me. Tire repaired (nail puncture), bad valve stem replaced, and replaced some kind of hub ring (don't ask me what it is, but it was damaged during original switch out). Unbelievable. He showed me everything they did, gave me the damaged ring to show Lexus, observed all the distancing and cover-up recommendations, and was genuinely lovely. Highly recommended. I lease my cars, so usually I go to the dealer for any issues, but when it concerns my tire(s), I avoid driving to Tucson & go this shop instead. I've always been treated as a regular customer, which I'm not & the mgr, Jose, gets my checked out quickly & if I don't need any tire repairs, He doesn't charge me to put the car on the lift! I always tip the mechanic to show my appreciation. I would recommend this Big O to anyone... read more

They no longer take walk-ins but still don't function well. It took 2 hours to get an oil change. Late to breakfast with a friend. I could sit and watch 4 workers not work and joke around through their big window to the garage. Two other customers waited along with me getting impatient for simple tire repair and alignments. This place was a joke for getting something so easy done and it wasn't that they were understaffed or too busy. read more

Today is the first time I've visited a Big O Tire Store. I needed 4 new tires. First, I went to Walmart and was second in line at 7:15 am. The guy working there tells me that they are short staffed and that my wait time could be 2 hours to 9 hours! Ok, I don't mind waiting for a while. But, 9 hours? Seriously? And then he says that anyone who comes in for an oil change takes priority, and at that time they would stop working on my tires. I got the feeling he wanted to run customers away. So, I left. I go straight over to Big O Tires and talk with Jose. There are a few people in front of me and Jose gets me in and out in about an hour and 20 minutes! Wow! Professional, knowledgeable, and great customer service! All the guys working there are doing a great job! Thank you Jose and crew! Walmart should have this kind of customer service. read more

employees are nice and did a good job, but not having appointments works great for them but is terrible for the customer. if u don't have a way to drop off your vehicle you might have to wait 3 hours or more. this does not seem the way to treat customers especially when tire installations and oil changes etc should be easy to estimate time and keep somewhat on schedule. because of this i will no longer patronize this business read more

Front office service wasn't bad. Tech was sloppy. I get that there's a labor shortage but that doesn't cut much ice with me. It's irritating that the expensive replacement tire was ten pounds low on pressure. The "free" valve stem was definitely not replaced and the valve stem cap was missing. Tech didn't check any of the other tires for pressure and all are low. Seriously, it's a tire store and it's common courtesy as well as a mark of good customer service to make sure all tires are properly inflated. I have compressor, so I can take care of inflating the tires, but a lot of people, especially older folks, don't have a compressor handy. Asked for an alignment and got a box checked on the invoice that said 'alignment recommended'. Well, duh, that's why I asked for one. Pretty sure I'll mosey on to some other place when it's time to replace the next set of tires. read more

Went here to get tires, it looked like it was going to be a long day... it was really busy. They guys here took everything on with grace. Amazing customer service, patience. They there so patient with me while I picked out my tires and changed my mind 50xs. I gave them my car and they finished aLot sooner then I expected. Tires were a great value and came with a warranty . The ride is smooth no complaints. Warm coffee in the waiting area. Everything was clean. Completely worry free. I'll be back :) for sure... and I'm a girl btw. I got my quotes offline like a big girl and they didn't try to rip me off or anything or try to sell me there most expensive tire. They didn't have the tire that I wanted to they picked out the next Big Bang for my buck it was a little more but included a lot more and it was already on my list of tire quotes I printed out of ones I was willing to get so idk. If ur a girl and you get nervous about getting ripped off you can literally tire shop online and print out quotes so... then just call around and see who has the tires u want. I had figured I had a leak somewhere in my tire so I pull into Big O, sure enough there was a nail in my tire. They took me right in and were super friendly. Dan patched my tire for me, and when they handed me my keys I had asked how much it'd be and was told "Don't worry about it, Merry Christmas". It made my whole day and was so kind of them. Took in car in for tire rotation and oil change. Left car came back and they had changed filters without my approval. Claims to have asked the wrong customer if they would like new cabin and aire filters in MY car. Even though THIER mistake, they made me pay for filters I DIDNT need!!! UNBELIEVABLE. Plus they hadnt done the tire rotation. No appreciation for my being a long time customer. Further, they damaged the glove box when installing the cabin air filter. I will never go anywhere else!!! Kayla was at the front desk when I needed a patch on my tire. I asked her on a whim about an unrelated issue I've been having on the car, and she called one mechanic who was not working but was happy to tell me about 3 possible diagnoses, then she called GV Automotive to ask him to squeeze me in for an appointment just to take a look the next week. Update: filed a complaint with their corporate office (crickets). Not a peep. Took my truck in to a local outfit for an oil brake fluid change, asked them to check the rear end where BO did the seal replacement. They found one of two caliper bolts was completely missing and the other one was loose and allowing the caliper to score the inside of the rim on the wheel. There was evidence that the axle seal that BO did was leaking again or This is probably headed to small claims court at this point. Don't even consider this chain for poor work and poor C/S. read more

I have always been treated great and had wonderful service until today. I realize I am a senior but today I was invisible. About a month ago I had my usual oil change and fluids done. Yesterday my wiper fluid light came on and I called, they said to bring it in. They told me to pull my car in. There were 5 men working there and I was ignored, even by the manager and assistant manager, and then a nice young man went out of his way and saw that my fluids had not been filled. He apologized for the oversight and I thank him very much, but shame on the others, I am not invisible and I am a customer. read more

This Big O has poor process and poor customer service. Went in for tire repair, customer service representative said I'd have to wait 1 1/2 hr. I asked him to put me on list and I'd be back in 1 hour. He said they do not take reservations. I said it was not a reservation I and I'd be back well before he needed the car. He said no, only option was to stay or leave car. Went to Walmart down the street where customer service was excellent. read more

Liar Liar! I only use synthetic oil in my diesel truck. I called a week ahead of time, spoke to the manager and asked if they had synthetic oil for customers who prefer synthetic oil. The manager answers "Oh yes. That's all I use for my truck". I expressed my gratitude and wanted to schedule an appointment. They "don't do appointments. First come first serve only". So I looked at my calendar and called the day before I could be there. Again, we had the conversation about synthetic oil. Manager again stated that he used synthetic oil in his diesel trucks. They open at 7 a.m. and start work at 7:30. I arrive before 7. Was allowed to enter, introduced myself and took a seat. At 7:45, a worker came, sat next to me and wanted to debate the need for using synthetic oil. I was beside myself. I mentioned the conversations I had with the manager. The manager introduced himself and simply stated, "we do not carry synthetic oil and there is no reason to use synthetic oil." Not wanting to debate, I left . .. . and will never return. I then had to drive 50 minutes to my old mechanic to have the oil I wanted installed in my truck. read more
