If I could give this business zero stars, I would. I initially spoke with an assistant regarding a set of tires I wanted to purchase. I was told that I would need to drive from Tucson to Green Valley for the tires to be installed. Since it was already around 4:00 p.m., I was unable to make the trip that day. I then went to their website and scheduled an appointment for the following day to purchase the tires and install them myself, as I am a mechanic. I drove from Tucson to the Green Valley location specifically because they were the only store that had the tires I wanted in stock. When I arrived, I was unexpectedly told that I was required to pay in cash and that they needed to see my ID. None of this had been communicated to me beforehand. The situation felt very unusual and made me uncomfortable, so I decided not to proceed with the purchase and left. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. After picking the vehicle up we go across the street to pet smart and my wife says she has no windshield fluid. So she calls back up to Firestone and the lady says I'm so sorry come back and we will fill that up. Why was it not filled up in first place? The lady says pull into bay one. So my wife pulls into bay one and an employee is there and YELLS you can't park there. CHRIS, the employee gets in the car and honks the horn and starts to back up. I yell at him telling him the lady said to come to bay one because you guys forgot to fill up her windshield fluid. He gets out of car YELLING SOME MORE. Which mad me mad because who would allow a MAN to yell at their wife? I said you're being an ASSHOLE. Trying to explain to him what had happen and what was said and he would not listen. So,I again said you're being an asshole...that's not professional yelling at a woman. He starts walking to my jeep Yelling at me. My Mother was visiting from Phoenix. She simply had a nail in her tire. The same tire had been repaired before so we understood when she was told it could not be repaired again. All they wanted to do was sell her 4 tires. She explained that her husband would replace all of the tires when she got back to Phoenix and Firestone didn't even offer to sell her one tire! Which we got from Walmart the same day!!! My mother was not used to taking care of car issues at all and this made her feel pretty incapable of handling this on her own! My husband WAS a loyal customer of Firestone (which is why I brought my mother here) but never again!!! I discovered a large screw in my tire, I showed up right before their posted opening time hoping to get it done quickly, they opened late and the man opening asked me if I had an appointment, I did not, he then told me there were 12 people that had service scheduled before me, (I discovered the screw the prior evening, after their location was closed) I asked if they could still service the tire that day, he said yes but I had to leave it and it would be in the afternoon, so I called my husband to come get me, and left my car. About an hour later I got a call from a woman from Firestone, surprised it was already done, but no she said, "after doing the courtesy inspection (I had not been told they would do an inspection, as I only needed the screw removed from my tire), they recommended a new battery, and a serpentine belt, and they could get started on that immediately for the total of $552.00,' I said no thank you, I know I don't need a new battery, and my husband is an A&P Mechanic and does all the needed maintenance on my vehicle. She then informed me my tire was not done yet and she would call back when it was completed. 30 minutes later it was done. My issue with this is, I did not consent for them to do a "complimentary inspection" on my vehicle, they should not even have opened my hood. This is concerning that other people especially woman are prime targets for this type of fishing, needless work done because they assume most people have no idea what is going on under the hood of their car. This is a predatory up sale gimmick that is all too common among auto shops, I brought it in for a $25 repair,and they tried to upsell $500, I won't ever be back to that shop, we have 3 vehicles that will, at some time need tires, and I will never take any of them to the Firestone Auto in Sauhrita. Congratulations!! If you're looking for a nearly perfect '1880 Amish tire feel', look no further than the Bridgestone Turanza Quiettracks... These tires, and this location are the absolute LAST time I'm buying Bridgestones or going here. I'm beyond confused at this business. It needs Corporate involvement from the ground up. After taking over the shell/building, they failed to open with newly refreshed calibrated machines. I doubt to some extent if a couple years later if it's even been accomplished... Having to emergency purchase 4 new tires, I ended up looking at this particular stores' website, speaking in person with 'Maria' and coming up with a nearly $600.00 difference in pricing. Dazed and confused we went round and round literally on Firestone's direct website for this store, and speaking directly with a sales technician and having to snapshot the exact prices and refer her to what the website is claiming. Price gouging...? You be the judge. The difference was mind blowing. After some thorough communication, 3 emailed quotes later, we agreed on a pricing - $600.00 cheaper - which matched the website. Phew... Okay, so I delivered the car a full day in advance, picked it up the next evening; and somethings wrong. The car shakes from both of the front visors and the car rides like a 19th century Amish horse drawn cart. Roughest ride on any tires I've purchased in 40 years. Oh and the car pulls to the left. A return trip to the facility, the car is readied in three hours. The vibration is a tad better, but now the steering wheel is tilted to the left. They claimed it was 'out' by .06 degrees, and 'corrected' it. Thanks, now my steering wheel is tilted to the left and a short day later, ALL FOUR of my TPMS sensors fail to be registered with the car's dash system and now I have to deal with that; at the dealership. Completely dissatisfied with this business. It literally can not get anything correct from pricing to tire installs. I've tried to think of something positive to say and I found one thing; they're polite. Polite doesn't fit with mismanaged maintenance and at $1245.00 spent on two returns just to have my steering wheel misaligned, tires that were over-pressured over manufacture specs and now the TPMS system off line... $178 diesel oil change on 04-25-04 and the engine is short at least one quart of oil. It barely ticks the dipstick. That means that nobody checked the oil level after the oil change. In addition, the "mechanic" or "technician" dumped a boat load of oil all over the driver side of the engine and engine compartment. Fine. Everybody makes mistakes but when you do, the world expects you to clean up your mess. Which they didn't bother with. Now I also have an oil mess on my driveway. Potential Firestone customer, be wary at this location: The staff here are very friendly, but it is their job to sell you services - I was even basically duped into opening a credit card with them. I was told if I open 'an account' I'll get a discount on the tire service I was already there to receive. I thought they meant a Website account where I'd receive promotional emails, etc., but it was actually a credit card account - with a flat rate of 28% APR - that's nuts! I would've never gone for that! I was also advised when I came to pick my car up that there was now a problem with my warning lights in my dashboard (ironic, since I had never had problems until I dropped my car off at this Firestone) and that for $60 they could perform a diagnostic to assess/fix issue. (I'd think since this problem occurred while they were performing related work, they'd fix it, but guess not.) I declined, and while the warning light was on for a moment, fortunately the issue cleared itself up within minutes, and there were no problems with the warning lights in my dash - glad I didn't spend $60 to find that out. Also, a recommendation to the technicians, please leave people's car settings as they are - do not raise their steering wheel or move their seat or adjust their A/C settings, etc. If you do need to do that, please put them back as you found them. Took me 10 minutes to figure out how to adjust my steering wheel back! So, overall, my point is that I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating, but I am going to assume they work on commission, so buyer, be wary! I called for an estimate on tires and the employee seemed very knowledgeable and polite so I ordered tires and set up an appointment. I live in a small town and don't do much highway driving but when I did drive the vehicle on the interstate it shook and shimmied very badly. Prior to that it had 48 miles on the odometer and approximately 100 after that day so I called the store where I purchased the tires and they said to bring it in and they would rebalance the tires. After the rebalance they came up with more items that I should replace and the vehicle still vibrated and shimmied after I test drove it on the interstate again. I paid for the inspection and got a complete clear on that prior to bringing it back but all the sudden it needed possibly shocks or rear end alignment. The manager that I spoke with was somewhat rude but again they didn't fix the problem the second time. I might also mention that the tires that were on it before were smooth with zero pole and zero vibration but I simply wanted to replace them because of their age and we were traveling across the United States. I hope they make it right at a different store but for me this is one time and out. I do not ever recommend Firestone for your tire purchase. read more

I bought 80,000 mile tires from Firestone in 2019. The tires only have about 39,000 miles on them and we were told they need to be replaced. Unbelievable. They agreed to give us a "prorata" price to replace the tires for $958.00, but we only paid $755.00 when they were originally purchased. We were also told we needed to have the tires rotated and balanced 2x a year, which is why their guarantee doesn't seem appear to be in play. However, they can't find our account on their system, so they are assuming we didn't have the work done. I will never purchase tires from this company every again. Useless. read more

Ignore this place at all costs if you're a woman. Apparently they took me for an easy mark... because after coming in for a simple oil change (which was $30 more than I've ever had to pay for one btw), they called me up recommending $900 worth of work my car supposedly needed. They made it all sound very important and necessary; telling me it would be dangerous not to get them. Well, I know a bit about cars and personally checked them all out (with the help of my brother in-law) and I didn't need ANY of them. Some of the things they recommended and quoted for $100+ were small things I could literally just pickup at AutoZone for a few bucks and replace myself. But again, I didn't actually need them. Other things, like tire rotation...were not even necessary. They just saw that one tire had slightly different wear than the rest (because it a new tire!). I will never go back here. read more

Senior ripoff joint! My neighbor went there for a tire rotation and when she tried to pick it up they told her it needed just short of $1000.00 in work! She drives it three miles to the store twice a week. Cabin filter, air filter, wiper blades, rear shocks, front struts and brake and radiator flush! I checked her filters and wiper blades, no problem on any(they charge $60.00 for a cabin filter change that takes two minutes if you're slow!). the rear shocks were fine, the car tracks absolutely straight and it's only got 40,000 easy miles on it! Was very disappointed in how rude the male service attendant was. His tone used toward me was not appreciated! All I wanted was to have my tire sensors relearned & he gruffly advised me that I had to make an appointment "next week!" I'm sure because I'm a female, that he hit me with a barrage of questions on what needed to be done! NOPE! I KNEW what needed to be done I did 95% of it! The cost to have this done was $21.99! WHAT??? I did ALL of the work, all they needed to do was use the reader to reset the tire sensors! Nonetheless, I called Big O Tires (which is what I should have done in the first place! Convenience is not always the best choice!) & once I told them what I needed done I was advised to bring my car over, park in front of the bays & they will send someone out with the reader AT NO CHARGE!!! It took the young man LESS THAN TEN SECONDS to accomplish this! I had already set the tires to be relearned from the menu button on my car, so it was a VERY EASY fix! Went to see Maria to get one of their tires under warranty a flat repair. Showed up early in the morning she told me I would have to leave the vehicle all day and she could maybe get to it but if I took it off the car she can get to it right away. Well that's what I did since I need the car and I need the tire repaired right away. Took it in soon as they opened up and went to run an errand in the same area as the tire shop and when I came back, it was still not even touched. She had workers in there that were rude not helping me telling me to go to the front office when I did that again I could not find Maria. I would not recommend this place do you like me because I went in there for four tires but now to do a basic flat repair they didn't wanna do it since it was probably no money into it in my tire just sat there with the guys talking and just walking around at the tire machine. If I could give them a half a star, I would never recommend this place to nobody. Follow up, Went to see Maria as she was very rude and unprofessional. She still lied to me. Do NOT recommend! When I got a flat tire, I called to see if it was under warranty. They said it was under warranty and to bring it in. When I got there they made me leave the car... didn't hear anything for over four hours. When they finally looked at the tire they told me that it wasn't their tire. I told the lady it would've been nice to know before I left my car there all day (had to get a ride to and from the place). Never again. Sloppy work, and an attitude of, "We don't need you, and we expect the same from you." They failed to reset my oil life dash control after changing my oil. They changed my wife's oil, and discovered a radiator leak that needed over 4 hours of work. After they did that, the '"check engine" light came on. No amount of arguing could convince them that it was anything they did, and they demanded $130 for diagnostics. When that was done, they discovered that their original mechanic had unplugged the senor, which was the cause of the dash warning light. My wife went to pick up the car, and was told to pay $130. Buy my own tire, bring it in at 0730 and told it would take all day to mount and balance a tire.....I wait four hours and call for an update only to be told they won't install the tire because it's too big. I took my car in about two weeks ago and was told and charged for my tire being repaired. Mind you, they are brand new tires. I trusted them. Two weeks later I noticed the same tire getting low and noticed they NEVER removed the screw that was initially causing the tire to leak!!! I took it in today only to have them (Tina) tell me that the tire was now damaged too much to repair and that I'd need a new tire. I asked them to please make it right as the tire "should" have been repaired the first time I took it in. Tina proceeded to talk down to me and told there was nothing they could or would do. I took my truck in for temp fluctuating, it never overheated and was drivable Just wanted the problem to be taken care of. When I picked up my truck late Thursday, the following morning on my way to work the truck went straight to red on the freeway and I had to get it towed back to Firestone. They had the truck for almost about a month and nothing was resolved. I had spent a lot of money on recommendations they suggested, I had confidence they could fix the the problem. Turns out they were unable to and I was told to take it to the dealer. Now I have a $1600 credit bill and a truck that is not drivable. Also the timing is off now, so now I have a truck that goes straight to red and rpm fluctuation. I'm sure they did the best they could, my recommendation is just take your vehicles to the dealer to begin with. I will be contacting fire stone corporate office to try to get this credit card bill resolved, if the are unable to resolve it I will be contacting the BBB. Buyers Beware. Recently, I had a flat tire. Got the temporary on, took the broken one to Fletchers in Green Valley. The guy takes a split second look at it, says....can't be fixed, has to be replaced. It's a 200.00 tire, we can do it tomorrow. Okay. Well, that SUCKS, but if it's got to be replaced...you are the expert, tire dude. But before I took it back to THEM, someone advised me to not be so quick, that it's in the tread, not the wall, and should be able to repair it. This morning, I take it somewhere else for a second opinion. And just like that, in less than 10 minutes, and $10 bucks, the offending schrapnel has been removed, the tire repaired and replaced on my whip. Gracias, Pepe and friends...here's $20, enjoy lunch on me! Not cool. You were totally ok with taking advantage of this dumb girl, no questions asked.
