Just wanted to make an appointment to have my car checked out and some friends of mine recommended Saguaro. I stopped by on my way home and Saguaro's Manager told me they could do it right then, if I had the time. Not only did they give my car a thorough look-over, but a clean bill of health as well. Even better, they charged me nothing for the check up, and it took them about an hour. I am leaving for California for a short holiday and they told me to go with no worries. Had an oil change there a few months ago and was satisfied, at first. Then one day, driving the freeway, I heard a loud, scraping and frightening noise coming from my car. I was very frightened but was afraid to pull over. I limped the car home in a complete panic. I then asked my handyman what he thought it could be. He told me it was the shield covering the undercarriage and because Saguaro did not properly reattach it, it came loose and was bent backward, scraping the pavement. We had our oil changed a couple weeks ago. It turns out they didn't drain the old, dirty oil. They put 5 qts of new oil added to the old stuff. Yesterday we noticed AC was blowing warm air then "warning - stop car immediately- overheating" messages on screen and dash a few blocks from home. Fortunately we were able to get a mobile car technician to come to our house the next day And drain the oil and add new oil. Very disappointing- I was expecting better from Saguaro Automotive. read more

They were upfront with us about our issue and advised it quite possibly could be covered under warranty if we wanted to take it to the dealer first to have it fixed. They are so kind and have been quick to take care of our cars. Highly recommend them! read more

In the end contacted the BBB and was refunded $500 for work they never did. Beware of what you're reading on here. The only thing I can think of is - He ( Sean ) submitted this and added MY name. I couldnt recommend this place more! I was visiting my parents in Green Valley when every light in the book popped up on the dashboard of my 2009 Subaru Legacy. I didn't know who to take it to and was worried about being talked into more work than I needed as I'm I between work right now so money is tight. I went to Saguaro and they were so kind. They told me off the bat that they had suspicions about what it might be and that it could cost me $2000+. But, they got my car in the next day to run tests and found out the problem was much smaller and quoted me just over $700. I was thrilled! They got me in the next week to get it fixed and everything was exactly as advertised. No extra fees or calls trying to sell me more. A week later I took my car to Firestone because I needed new tires. While there they ran their "courtesy checks" and found tons of things they recommended me doing. Some of them were reasonably priced so I did it but one issue was apparent battery failure. I asked them not to do anything there and when I picked up my car I drove straight to Saguaro where they ran a battery test and found nothing wrong. The mechanic did do some quick corrosion cleaning for me, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and they did it free of charge. If I'm ever back in Green Valley and need an auto shop, I will be bringing my car here for sure! read more

On a trip from San Diego my Jeep conveniently decided to start leaking oil . Everywhere . Was able to bring it in and get it diagnosed the same day . Which is not as easy as it should be anymore . The repair was completed when expected and done well . Additional common sense items were taken care of since the repair was so involved , actually saving money . Lets face it nobody wants to go to the mechanic . But you have a good one here Tucson . From the service writer Dana ? to the mechanic Sean both really nice people . Would not hesitate to go back . Sean is not a honest person to deal with. I had to have him sell my car because of an illness what a mistake that was. Sean sold the vehicle for less than it was worth never notified me would not gi me a copy of the bill of sale with price and date of sale and I had to threaten him with Attorney Genera office to get the money. I'm very disappointed with what happened to me. I have a 2011 Equinox and I was told by the owner that this car would need a partial synthetic oil, which would raise the price to 29.95 vs. 24.95. Then I had a coupon from Safeway that said a regular oil change would be 21.95 plus you get a free tire rotation. I sat and watched the whole thing, and was even asked if I wanted the free tire rotation. I said absolutely I'd like it. They did check all the tire pressures, but never removed or rotate not even one tire. Then when I got the bill the owner said this car called for full synthetic oil. I checked it out and it does NOT. It does call for partial synthetic, which would have Ben 10.00 less. Of course then he brought two filters in that he said should be changed, so I did agree to one of them, and that was 22.00. So my bill was $60 something and I didn't get my tires rotated. I was very disappointed and probably won't be going back there. Plus I was going to have my wife's car serviced there also. Looks like I'll be looking for a new service, repair station. I told him we just moved here and we're looking for good reliable place to do our automobile work. Be careful if you use this guy. read more

I am a car enthusiast and this is an auto repair shop just for the likes of me. The owner, receptionist, and all-around gracious host, Brent, greets you upon arrival. He has given me several estimates all well with under the high cost of doing business with factory authorized dealerships. I just got my 2001 VW New Beetle Turbo back from his immaculate service and I am ready to say this is the best experience I have had with a repair facility in a long while. We all know first time is a charm, the second time proves the pudding. So, four stars now and the following one on my second visit should all go as I expect it to. read more

Took my care in for oil change. They said I had an oil leak. They said there was so much oil on the under body that they would have to "steam" it to get it clean enough to see where the leak was. I brought it back for the second time for the "steam cleaning", left it overnight. Went the next morning for the third time to get it and pay the bill and now they tell me to bring it back in a week (for the forth time) so they can determine where the leak is coming from. And by the way, there was no visible oil leaking on my garage floor. And to top it off, they cracked my windshield from top to bottom and let me find it myself when I went out to get in my car. The manager said it was cracked when I brought it in. That his guys "documented" it. They didn't document it the first and second time I brought it in, why not? The crack was right it the middle of my vision, I think I would have noticed! That windshield was not cracked when I took it in and they know it!! They are all sticking together with their story and I'm a female senior citizen on my own. I can't fight the system but I can warn others. I'm disappointed in them because their decision to deny doing it told me they were dishonest so why would I take my car back to them. read more
