I went in solely for new all-seasons, and I didn't know that Big O offered 10% off for first responders, which I appreciate. The tires I bought were also very affordable and service was expedient. However, I specifically requested that the driver window not be rolled down (it doesn't roll back up) and that I already had an appointment scheduled elsewhere to fix it. When I got my car back, the window had been rolled down. Overall, I'm satisfied with the services I paid for, and irritated at the ones I did not ask for. I get that brands want to go above and beyond, but in this case, it caused me trouble for the purpose of an upsell. read more

I had such a great experience at the Big O in Broomfield today. Jeremy was my service advisor and seriously made the whole thing so easy. I had a bolt in my tire and he got me in right away, no drama, no long wait, just straight to the point. They had it patched in under an hour, which honestly felt like such a blessing after the morning I was having. Manny even came out and helped load the tire back into the back of my Jeep for me, which was super appreciated because that thing is awkward as all get out and I was not in the mood to wrestle with it in the parking lot (especially with the waiting room watching me). I am always skeptical about auto shops, but Nicholas and the folks at Big O tires were extreamly helpful. I first came to them when My 2012 chevy malibu had tire trouble. They helped with the tow and getting a decent deal on a set of tires. The second time was when the engine on my malibu died. Once again, they treated me right, including letting me know the cost of rebuilding the engine. Every interaction with Nicholas and the staff at Big O has been amazing. I went in to have the tire pressure system checked because it was showing two tires are low when they were not. Also, had a nail in another tire. I did not have an appointment but they got me in within an hour. Wil Cancanon was very nice and informative about what the problem could be and potential cost. They came out and handed me the keys and said they fixed the nail tire, reset the pressure system and filled the tires. All at no cost to me!!!! They did not try to sell me new tires or put on parts that were not needed. I would definitely use this place again! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I totally would. I brought my car in this morning at 8:30 AM because the front left tire was showing low pressure. With the snow coming down, I didn't want to risk driving around with my two toddlers in the back. They told me I could wait for about three hours or book an appointment. I opted for the 2 PM slot and even offered to leave my car and keys with them since I had to get to work. They happily accepted--great, right? So, they promised it would be a 40-minute service session for just one tire and said I'd get a call when it was done by 2:40 PM. Fast forward to 3:40 PM, and I'm still waiting. I called, and as soon as they picked up, I was put on hold without even getting a word in. I waited for eight minutes, hung up, and tried again. This time, I was put on hold before I could even say "wait." Finally, making sure i listened carefully to the phone being picked up and i began "wait wait wait". I learned they hadn't even touched my car yet and had no idea when they would. It's beyond frustrating! I have a life to juggle here, and this ridiculous customer service should not be ok by any standards. Never coming back again. read more

I have for 6 yrs taken all my vehicles to this Big O tires. I know that recently they have gone under new ownership. This morning I go in and there is a person of color in front of me. I'm standing Covit distance from him. Jeremy come in and asks if we're together (1). Than Jeremy takes my information never address me by name or ask what vehicle I want worked on(2). I say I want a tune up, sorry I should have been more specific. Tire rotation, oil change. (3) Jeremy then address a male that just came in and starts to tell the male what is it he needs. Jeremy never address me to say "excuse me can I deal with this gentleman or I'll be quick. I think asking me question that he is asking the man behind me. When Jeremy come back to me (after going out with the man) he gives me a list of items that end up being $600. I say "No" all I want is a tire rotation & oil change. (4) Jeremy tells me your all set and walks away. I was first profiled for being a person of color (assuming every person of color is with another person of color) and overlooked an as a women when male is present. I'm sad, hurt and angry. I recently visited the Big O Tires location near my home for a full alignment on my lifted vehicle. The convenience of dropping off my car in the morning and biking back home was a plus. I had called ahead to confirm they could handle the alignment, especially since all adjustment points (Toe, Caster, Camber, etc.) needed attention after my recent suspension and CV axle work. I specifically mentioned the camber needed correction, as I had adjusted the tires to a negative camber position to ensure enough adjustment range. I emphasized this because previous alignment shops (not Big O) had either ignored the camber adjustment or made inadequate adjustments, leading to rapid tire wear. They assured me that while lifted vehicles can be tricky, they would align everything as close to manufacturer specifications as possible. A few hours after dropping off my car, I received a call that it was ready. The service was polite and fast, which I appreciated. The clerk handed me my keys and, while flipping through the report, specifically said something to the effect "wow, your alignment WAS way off. You should be good now though, have a good day.". However, upon taking a quick visual of my car as I walked toward it in the parking lot, it was clear the camber was still noticeably negative. The alignment report confirmed my suspicion: only the Toe had been adjusted, with the "before" and "after" measurements for camber unchanged and still out of spec. It felt like an insult to my intelligence to be given a report with unchanged numbers in red, indicating the position was still out of spec. On the positive side, the steering wheel was back to its normal position, and the car drove straight and smooth without pulling to either side. Despite this, I won't be returning to a business that charges for incomplete work and assumes customers won't notice. Over the next couple of nights, I used my digital carpenter's level to roughly adjust the camber myself. I will still need to take it to another shop for fine-tuning. Not only did I pay for incomplete service, but it also created more work for me. I am usually not one to even write reviews unless I am exceptionally pleased with a business or service. I don't even know if I have written a negative review before, but I felt especially cheated here and felt it necessary to share. read more

Totally agree with the people here. Lack of communication with its customers and pure lies. I was told to bring in my car Monday and that they had time to take a look at it. Never called me. I had to call the next day see where I was in line and told me I would be next pretty soon. I called two hours before closing and they told me they were not able to get to it that basically they had faster jobs to get out and mine would take a minute so they were going to wait until the next day because they only had one diagnostic person. Do not use for mechanical repairs! Beware! I took my car in for a tire rotation and 'trip check' as I planned to drive from Colorado to Michigan. They told me my front and rear suspension and rack/pinion need to be replaced for $5600!! They could get it in the shop that day and my trip would not be delayed. I took the car to my mechanic and they could find NOTHING wrong. This was the 2nd time a Big O store lied to me for a repair. Never again will I go to these rip off artists. read more

Last week, on Saturday, December 14th, around 8 am, I brought my 2003 Mazda Protege into this location as my brake light was on and I was hoping to get to the bottom of the issue before it furthered. After about 4 hours, I was called and told my back brakes needed to be replaced along with my front brakes having a lip that would need to be repaired now or further down the road. I was quoted $1500 for fixing all of the brakes, or $500 for just the back ones and address the front ones later when it became an issue. I was in no mood to be paying almost $1500 for an already $2000 car, so I got a second opinion from another company, along with the dealership further down 120th and they informed me that there was nothing wrong with my brakes and do not need to be replaced AT ALL. and it ended up just being a wiring issue that was fixed in under 20 minutes by the dealership. This is absolutely absurd for a company to be trying to scam people, especially young women, out of money with car maintenance. In what world is this okay? I am appalled and quite frankly disgusted at the confidence this company and location had to ask for such a large amount of money for a repair that would have done nothing to fix my issue. My honest opinion is to avoid this location and overall company like the plague for allowing their staff to behave like this but absolutely get a second opinion from someone else (LITERALLY anywhere else is hopefully not as shady as this!!) and make sure they aren't just trying to steal from you. read more

I indicated when I made the appointment that I would wait there because I know it usually only takes an hour to swap out the winter tires and alignment. I waited patiently for 2 hours and then asked what is the status of my car - they guy says I'm next! I said nope. Give me the keys. I'm out of here. Rather than taking the extra five seconds to properly screw in the lugs before using a drill, they stripped the lugs on my car to the point that the stud came off. If you care about your car at all, do not go here. Here, let me explain: For context, I have a 2007 Volkswagen Beetle. March 20th, 2024, I had a check engine light with the code P0171. That means there is something wrong with my air intake - my engine bay was too lean. They said they fixed it, charged me $1300 which I had to take a credit card out for. I'm still making payments. Come a couple weeks later, in early April, my car went up in smoke. A lot of smoke. In Downtown Denver (I missed a $160 photo shoot because of this). I towed it back to Big O, where they told me they had given me a faulty part that caused the smoke. They fixed it again, and I went on my merry way. Fast forward to now, end of June, my check engine light comes back on. Spoiler alert, it's the same code. P0171. How do you mess up twice? I brought it back last night, where they told me the diagnostic was still under warrenty, but couldn't guarantee the fix would be. I called at 1pm, and they said they were currently working on it. It has been two hours and I still haven't heard back. Not to mention the customer service is horrible. They talk down to me like I don't know anything (I am a woman), talk over me, don't let me get a word in, etc. When I called about this issue, they went back and told me every single time in the history of me owning my car that I got a diagnostic. Allan, I believe it was, kept going over this and told me "this seems to be an ongoing issue." No, Allen, I told you multiple times those were for different problems, and I do not appreciate what you are implying. When I brought my car in, no one was at the desk. I sat there and waited for over 15 minutes until someone came in to help me. Once they did, they continued to talk down to me. Not to mention I couldn't even get a word in because him and another coworker were having their own conversation the whole time, complaining about someone else. Ever since the management changed, Big O has gone downhill fast. I have been going here since August of 2020, but now I will never go back. I have been as nice as possible during this whole ordeal, and they still don't treat me as a human being. Oh, I almost forgot, they wrote down that my car has over 165k miles. My car is barely over 91k. There is probably more I am forgetting, but I think this gets the message across. They act like customers are burdens, and that we're stupid, they upcharge way too much, and they break cars more than they fix them.
