I was having an issue with engine oil leaking into my engine coolant causing my car to overheat. After doing some research on my own and talking with the advisors at the Subie Doctor, it turns out I had a head gasket issue. After seeing all the positive reviews for this business on Google and Yelp, I decided to go with them for my repairs. I am very happy that I did! They provided me with a detailed estimate and showed me photos of things they found along the way which included very swollen coolant hoses, a leaking transmission pan, and lots of carbon buildup on the valves. I had them repair all these things and my car runs like a new car now! I feel that the price I paid for all this work was fair as it was very labor intensive. The entire engine has to be removed from Subarus when the head gasket needs to be serviced. This car had nearly 193,000 miles on it when I brought it to them on the original engine and transmission. Alex and his team are fantastic. Top rated service all around. This was my second time using them for a repair; the first time being in 2021, and almost 2 years to the day, they were able to replace the broken valve body on my 2014 Subaru Outback. I originally took my car to Groove because they are 15 minutes away, and they brushed me off, told me they couldn't get me in for weeks. I called the team at Subie Dr and told them what was going on with my car,and they set me up with an appointment the next week. Brought her in and they ran diagnostics and discovered the broken valve body. They were great at communicating with me along the process. I'm a single mom, with just the one vehicle, so it was essential to me to get my car fixed properly and quickly, and Alex and team were able to deliver that to me. I have my Subie back and she's running great and I look forward to maintaining her with the help of The Subie Dr. They are a bit of a trek for me, but I will happily drive north for great service. My car battery was draining too fast. The Subie Doctor detected the fuse that caused the parasitic drain and removed it after removing and replacing the battery. However, the control on the passenger side window stopped working and the front speakers also didn't work. They said Subaru has experienced problems with the Telematics system on the 2019 Outback and this fuse may also interfere with the Bluetooth and Starlink systems. When I brought it back, the Subie Doctor reset the master switch on the electrical system which solved the window control problem. Then they put the fuse back in, which solved the speaker problem. They pulled the fuse out again to prevent the parasitic draw and the front speaker still works! Thank you for trying different problem-solving options and getting it to work again. They did not charge me anything for this additional diagnostic work and to solve the problem. Great job Subie Doctor! I will be returning for any future mechanical needs on the vehicle. read more

This shop, is hands down the best in the area, if not the whole state! Their work is wonderful, they're fast, understanding and willing to work with you on some things, and also offer financing through a 3rd party. I had pulled the engine on my '96 Outback, and had them resurface my heads with their preferred shop, everything was beautiful when I got them back. I also worked with them a second time when I had some things go wrong installing the heads (some bolts were old and weakened from previous head gasket jobs and broke off) and they actually agreed to take the engine in and have all of that fixed, and they agreed to reassemble the engine to where I could get back into things with the time I lost. These guys helped me out so much, allowing me to get my car back on the road, after it had been down for over 3 months while I was out of state, and waiting on parts to show up. I seriously cannot recommend The Subie Doctor enough, they are as good as it gets. read more

These guys are fantastic and I couldn't recommend them more. I've bought a car from them, as well as had service. They weren't pushy during the sale and were super reasonable with their prices. And they really stand behind their work, I had a little problem come up after buying the car (completely not their fault) and they went above and beyond to make it right. I drove three days across the country from East Coast to Colorado. When I got to Nebraska my entire AC blew and no one knew how to really fix a Subaru since they are Japanese cars.
