In the office, Edgar and Tom are both helpful and friendly, giving me good advice on how to go about getting a lot of repairs done on a used car I bought almost two years ago. I couldn't get all the necessary repairs done all at once, but Edgar knew what was critical to do first, and what could wait a little longer. So I've been going here almost two years now, getting what I need a little at a time. And now everything is done so I'm ready for my emissions testing coming up early next year. And I can drive it anywhere, anytime, without worrying about stalling or breaking down. There was one thing Edgar didn't want to fix for me, and for good reason. He found out my car was subject to a recall, so I took it in to a Nissan dealer and got the sensors causing driveability problems replaced for free. While Edgar's the best of mechanics for price, quality, and service, he wasn't authorized to do those factory recalls for Nissan. So he wanted to let me get those repairs done for free at the dealer rather than make the money for himself. It takes an honest man in an honest shop to tell me he wants me to save the money, which I don't have a lot of, by getting the recall repair for free. Then when the dealer said I needed one more thing after the recall repairs, I went back to Aurora AutoPros, and Edgar gave me a really good price on that repair, getting me back on the road right away. I dropped off my car at 9 AM and Edgar, the owner was kind & dropped me back off at my home during my service so that I could work from home for the rest of the day. Even if the staff was not available to do a pick up and drop off, they also offered a rideshare service if needed. This is a huge lifesaver for me and super accommodating of my chaotic work schedule.
