Just had my Kia on fire a flat tire and they opened my hood for no reason and when I left the hood opened and smashed my windshield. When confronted they lied and stated they told me about having problems with opening my hood. Question if I am in for a flat tire why are you opening my hood? They went on to say it's a state and federal law that they have to do a courtesy inspection. Do not I repeat do not go to the Big O Tire in Elizabeth Colorado or you too could be stuck on the side of the road and being told it's your fault we opened your hood. SMH Thanks for nothing. Customer service is horrible and they should loose their shop...I know of a few residents that have been shafted by this store! Will take this up with the better business bureau. read more

If I could leave a worse rating I would... I had an extremely disappointing and honestly dangerous experience with Big O Tires. I brought my car in for a simple leak in my rear passenger tire. After the appointment, I drove away and only made it about a mile down the road before my hood suddenly flew up and slammed into my windshield while I was driving. The hood was clearly not latched properly before they returned my vehicle to me. As a result, my windshield cracked and my hood became severely bent and broken to the point it now needs replacement. What has made this situation even worse is how management handled it afterward. My father contacted the store to see how they planned to address the damage, and both the Store Manager Taylor, and the Store District Manager Nick, claimed they had made me aware of damage to the front of my vehicle before I left. That is completely false. During my appointment, I spoke mostly with Casey. We discussed the tire leak (which was my only issue coming in) and the fact that my car would need an alignment sometime in the future. At no point did anyone tell me my hood was damaged, difficult to latch, unsafe, or anything remotely close to that. Nick later even claimed (to my father over the phone) that it took two technicians to open my hood in the first place, which also was never mentioned to me. To make things even more confusing, Nick the District Manager, claimed they were planning to perform an alignment on my vehicle but couldn't because of the alleged front-end damage. The problem with that statement is I never asked for an alignment to be done in the first place. It was only mentioned in conversation (with Casey) as something my car may need eventually, not something I requested during this visit. On top of that, Taylor told my father that I signed paperwork acknowledging my visit with Big O. That also never happened. I never signed a single form during my visit. In fact, at the end of the appointment I specifically asked Casey if there was anything I needed to sign, and he told me no. I was also sent a detailed inspection report afterward, and nowhere on that report does it mention any issue with my hood, front end, or difficulty opening the hood. If these problems supposedly existed before I left, why was none of it documented? At the end of the day, this entire situation could have been avoided if someone had simply ensured my hood was properly latched before returning my vehicle. Instead of taking accountability, management chose to give conflicting stories and make claims that are not true. I expected much better professionalism and honesty from a business responsible for vehicle safety. I hope Big O Tires takes responsibility for the damage caused and helps repair what happened due to their negligence. read more

These people are not not only incompetent, they also lie. They told me they had an A tech working on my car, when in the real world, outside of their store where they assign their own ratings on techs, this guy would be luck to be called a lube tech. Brakes are not difficult, but for these clowns it is. They left bolts out, not lose, but completely out, leading to a catastrophic failure of a brake line. 70 mph on I70 when your pedal goes to the floor is not when you want to find out you should have gone to a real mechanic. Stop trying to play mechanics and stick to bustin tires. A few decades practice and you just might become good at it. read more

Not sure for the life of me why I would keep going back except the convenience factor. I had someone cut me off a few days ago and ran me into a curb and destroyed my tire and rim. Dropped it off on 5/4/26 and they were going to look into options. Called 5/5 as I have a separate tire I needed fixed. They were "oh yeah - we'll look into it". It is late afternoon 5/6 and still NO COMMUNICATION. Well, I'll spend the extra 20 minutes to drive to a competitor in Parker as they have things in stock and will address my issues when I can get in tomorrow for an appointment. 3ish years ago, went in for a scheduled new tires/breaks.... the kid blew up my radiator as he killed my battery and needed to jump the battery. yes, they got me a new radiator within a 4 days but that obviously wasn't a fun wait time. fast forward to right this moment, made another appointment for our truck to get tires mounted. the guys working at 0900 on 20Dec2025 are rude upon hubby walking in the store. After a car accident, the folks at Elizabeth Big O tires quickly diagnosed the problems from the damage to our left front wheel. They had to special order all the parts and even had to get a special tool for this old 2002 Tundra. All the work was done within three days. Now we can drive it safely. Andrew and Ben were courteous, friendly and honest. We are happy with the work, the people and the cost. I was surprised and glad that this Big O is a full-service shop. Charged me for work that was not done. Then when the manager, Ben, was informed of this initially he tried to argue that the work was completed. I had visual proof to prove the work wasn't completed so then he shifted to claiming it was just a mistake, telling me his technicians are just so busy that they don't always know if they actually completed the work they sign off on. He offered to actually complete the work if I brought my car back in. They had already had my car for 2 hours and I didn't want to be inconvenienced again by a vendor that can't be trusted. At no point did he offer to refund the money I was charged for work that was not completed. read more

I ordered a new tire after a screw was found in my tire. They call and say that the tire is in and to stop by anytime. I called to verify I did not need an appointment because my young daughter is sick and we can not stay a long time. I come in and the guy behind the counter looks and talks like he is drunk. Tells me it will be an hour.. way longer than they said on the phone. An hour goes by and they have not even pulled my car in. I had to leave with a screw in my tire and half way deflated because they could not make time to fix it even though I had the tire ordered. The manager seemed unconcerned & just a total lack of any customer service or concern for our safety. I am ashamed for them and someone is going to get hurt depending on them. read more

From Dec. 15, 2021-Dec. 21, 2021, we had to deal what we thought would be a professional vehicle repair experience for my girlfriend's 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. While the repairs were only supposed to take 1-2 days, it turned out to be an extremely unprofessional, poor quality & unsafe experience by a rude staff taking 7 days which my girlfriend was without her Jeep w/no loaner vehicle. Various items noted below & provided in a letter to Big O's corporate HQ & photos detail the multiple & negligent issues we had with this particular Big O store located in Elizabeth, CO. Multiple issues arose from this Big O location including: 1. incorrectly ordered shocks & the purchaser being blamed for incorrectly ordering them (not sure how that occurs when we aren't ordering the shocks) by a rude/unprofessional worker; 2. supposedly new seals installed which are still leaking; 3. leaving off brake caliper hardware upon re-assembly; 4. ordering/installing shocks that are too long & thus pushed up the geometry of the Jeep thereby stretching/extending brake lines (which were rubbing) & causing the 4-wheel drive front shaft to raise & fail within days of the install plus spring spacers having to be installed; 5. multiple incorrect alignments causing worse/rougher driving conditions; 6. leaving all underside areas of the vehicle greasy/dirty from the "work"; 7. leaving the wheel caps off inside the Jeep when ready for "pick-up"; 8. leaving the spline wheel lock tool on the front bumper when ready for "pick-up"; 9. WORST OF ALL-they left a set of vice grips on the new left shock that was just installed when ready for "pick-up" (extremely dangerous); 10. Extremely poor communication/multiple missed deadlines extending out the repairs by 5-6 days; 11. Multiple issues with the transaction per the Colorado Motor Vehicle Repair Act (MVRA) C.R.S. 42-9-101. All items have been documented in a noted letter and photos. We still need correcting repairs (not by Big O) to the Jeep. They also COMPLETELY ignored a complaint inquiry from the Better Business Bureau and have an "F" rating because of it. I also sent a detailed letter with photos and MVRA statute references to their corporate offices in FL - which again, they ignored. POOR SERVICE AND NO FOLLOW THROUGH TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT! Had some front end work done and somehow ended up with a missing lug nut after a couple months on our Wrangler. When I noticed the problem, I called Colin and he sorted it out. Greeted by two attentive and clean-cut gentlemen. That was a great start. I was then checked right in and took a seat while I waited for my tire to be fixed from a screw in between the tread. Ugh. I immediately noticed the sitting area seemed clean, warm, and organized. The area I where I could help myself to coffee also seemed clean. Not sure why I look at those things, but it speaks volumes to me when the whole picture of a business is important to them. I also picked up really quick a third guy who addressed the people in the sitting room by name and updated all of us frequently on the status of our vehicles... that was nice. Often places like this leave you to wonder if they forgot you were there... here, I felt like it was important to them to keep you informed. I also heard one of the employees talk on the phone with a customer who had their vehicle being worked on. He was transparent about what they have done and what steps may need to come next. I also heard when a customer was checking out that his brakes were getting low. The employee was not attempting to sell him anything. Simply told him where they measure brand new, where they were at today, and where they would be when he needed to replace. Safety information given to the guy, but absolutely no pressure to buy something. Just a friendly "heads up." I felt the staff was on the same page of making sure customers were well informed, welcomed, and treated respectfully. I am looking for a place I can trust. I told the guy when I got an estimate to do the work that. The work was done and when I went to pay it was over by a significant amount. It turns out the guy I talked to no longer works there. Jennifer took my work on the quote. And I didn't lie about it and she trusted me. So that means a lot to me. I have already taken my other vehicle in for tires and that went well. So now I've been there twice and I plan to keep going back because how well Jennifer handled my experience. Man. I do not know what happened to this place. It wasn't even a yr ago I had a great experience here... Came back to get tires for our truck. We ordered them on a Friday and they told us to come back in the next morning to put them on. Well the truck apparently didn't come with our tires, okay, fine... Not their fault, but now it is Tuesday... I have missed two days of work due to snow and not being able to drive my truck safely to or from without proper tires on & they won't even schedule us an appointment to get them done. They just keep saying they're busy. So if you're busy, please allow me to make an appointment, right? ‍‍‍ Oh and another fun bonus is they have the tires now but under someone else's name??? So then they tell us they can sell us the tires to put on OURSELVES ‍ SMH. Okay, my husband bites- but it's the same dang price to buy them and do it ourselves. Uh. No. What is going on here? I am so disappointed, and just baffled at what turned so quickly here. Looks as though I will have to get tires elsewhere. Can't say I'll be inclined to recommend them anymore, as I had been doing either. Such a shame. I can be patient, but this is just lack of customer service in my opinion. Last time I was there for a scheduled appointment I sat in the waiting area listening to front staff say how stupid it was that Big O made appointments and wish they wouldn't. They talked about how they don't know how to use the computer to schedule them. Another customer walk's in and had told a one of the women he was there for front tire balance. The other women service writer says " see this is what I am talking about , you tell them to come in but not entered in the computer. So she says just slip him in between the first appointment and me. Now apparently the third appointment. regaurdless if he had a appointment or not. I got pushed back. Total horse shit! Stay away from Big O Tires. Took car in to repair transmission line leak, mechanics said you have no transmission leak, but you do have a bad water pump. Ended up paying $1500, drove car not knowing transmission was still leaking as I trusted their diagnostic abilities. Was I wrong. Now my Transmission is ruined because all the fluid leaked out. Big O Tires response, not my problem. Now I have to pay another $3500 for a transmission. Might be ok for tires or oli changes, go to a real mechanic for anything outside of tires. Totally disgusted with owners taking no responsibility. read more

These guys simply get it and I look forward to coming here for all my tire needs. They are honest and will never sell you anything you don't ly need. Don't waste your time. I made a reservation for 1:00 pm and they still hadn't moved my car from the parking lot after an hour. After an hour and a half wait, my car was moved into one of the bays. It has been 2 hours and I am still sitting in a freezing cold lobby waiting. They are not concerned one bit about the length of time it takes to service vehicles. They lie to every customer that comes in and tells them it will take 45 minutes to an hour. Don't patronize this location unless you have all day to wait. Terrible customer service. read more

This store is absolute ass. I came in yesterday for basic car tires. They didn't have them, so they ordered them in. I arrived today, extra early, so that it gets done and I can get on with the day... my appointment was at 10, I'm here by 9. It took until 11:45 for the tires to get here... when they arrived? Wrong tires. They're supposedly driving to go get the right ones from the factory, but I think I've said enough. Nothing is going to change my opinion of this location. I took in my truck to have a Add a Leaf spring kit installed. I was told by the man that it would be a two hour job at $120 per hour. I was quoted the same time and money from several other shops. When it's time to pay he told me it took four hours but he would just charge me for 3. That's $120 over quote which some people would be upset and I was but I didn't argue just paid the man. I wonder if the tech has never done it before and it took longer because of inexperience and why should I have to pay more for inexperience. That's why 3 stars and not 5. read more
