We took our GMC Sierra pickup in for a new transmission, got the quote and agreed with the price. When the pickup was returned to us, the gauges and radio were going on and off and the battery was dead. The truck was running when we picked it up and was informed that to get it started again we would need to jump it, even though the battery was new when it was given to them. The shop was closed for a full week as they were on vacation, so we had a pickup that was useless to us. We took the pickup back to them on a Tuesday confirming the issue and as of Friday morning it still had not been looked at. Later that day, we went to get the keys and take it to another auto repair shop and were informed that it was working fine as they had replaced the battery (which was under NAPA warranty). Upon starting the vehicle, the low oil sensor was on and we asked about that. The mechanic opened the hood and showed that the engine was full of oil as we also had them change the oil. We took the truck to Integrity Auto Repair in Kiowa, CO and they put it on their diagnostic machine and found that the oil level sensor had not been reconnected, and the battery hold down was not installed causing it to bounce around. They did not charge for these services. We will never return to Advanced, nor recommend them to anyone. The lack of quality work and professionalism was apparent.
