Listed other findings that were minor and did not even give estimate. I feel This shop discriminated me and my car and with the insurance company assistance chose not to do the work. They had no cars in the Bay Area, in the parking lot. They must just work on newer cars and collect insurance money. Give them a F for customer service and I am reporting them to the BBB for their poor customer service and discrimination for refusing to repair my car. Will report endurance as well. Why pay for extended warranty and then the auto repair shop could have done the work get paid by my insurance but refused service to me and my car. DON'T USE THIS SHOP THEY CHERRY PICK AND ARE NOT WORTH RECEIVING ANY NEW SERVICE.

When my car didn't pass the…read moreemissions test, I called Hi Ho because they were one of the highest rated emission repair shops in the entire Front Range. When I explained to them that my car had rarely been driven in 14 months because of surgeries that didn't allow me to use the clutch, they recommended that I not bring the car to their shop. Instead, they suggested that I totally empty the old gasoline that was in the car's tank, replace it with new gas and take it for a re-test. Apparently old gas can really throw off the test. Lo and behold, the car passed the emissions test with flying colors by doing exactly what they said! Other emissions centers had not been as honest. When my car needs repairs in the future, Hi Ho definitely will have my business!

I had a timing code on my wifes VW due to neglect, mostly on my part. The whole 2 qts that was in there was really dirty. Tried adding oil and clearing the code, but it kept coming back, misifiring out the wazoo. So I let the car sit. After about a month of pondering what to do, sell it for parts, scrap it, swap it.. Eventually decided to throw a dart in the dark, had it towed in, spoke with Hardeys and explained the situation. Guy called me the next day with great news, as we avoided catastrophic failure. They ended up fixing it for under $1500. Finding a shop that is honest, wont try to convince you that you need a new engine is unlikely these days, unfortunately. Especially when that is the conclusion youve come to yourself. My only complaint is they wont work on my other (domestic) vehicles because theyre not German Honestly, thank you guys so much. The work was done quickly and Loris communicated everything during the process. As a woman I know enough about a car to be dangerous and it's amazing to find a mechanic that is honest and wants to make sure my car is well maintained. He didn't try to oversell me on stuff (which I normally get when I go to a mechanics shop). Best part about Loris (seriously, this place is awesome) is that I had just run into a bollard and dented my door. He was able to remove the dents to prevent damage inside the door assembly for the winter and can do the minor damage repair in the spring when I save up for the fix.
