We have to drive 6 hours round trip for Chemo appointments and were traveling through Heber when we noticed one of our tires was low. (Fortunately, we always allow extra time.) We went to the closest place (Les Schwab) and they were too busy to help - not to mention the lady was rude about it! Went to Big O Tires today for a quick fix on my passenger front tire. I was told on the phone it'd take 15 minutes, but when I got there, they said it'd be up to THREE HOURS. The manager didn't even make eye contact with me, and honestly, I felt like I was treated differently just because I'm 17. I'm a college student at MTech studying mechanics. With only two cars in the shop and eight bays open, it made no sense. Terrible service. I won't be coming back. read more

Had two issues in two days that I had Big O take care of. I gotta say they did a great job. Fast friendly affordable service on tires on two of my vehicles. One vehicle had them install new tires and align. Other vehicle picked up a razor blade and got a rear puncture. Both instances they were able to do the work the same day and in a timely manner. I had a problem with a car alignment and a tire that ruptured, so I took it here. They did that, but also told me that my rear brakes were metal on metal. I held off on the brakes and had another person check it out. Brake pads are fine and have thousands of miles left on them. The pricing would've cost me about $700 on top of just the alignment and two front tires.It would have been a money dump that would have been a waste. Another lady I spoke to confirmed that this shop is dishonest and will try to add unnecessary services and parts. I'd recommend you don't go here. read more

I made an online appointment for this store and immediately received an email that said there was a conflict and the store would call me. It's been a week and nobody called, so I called them to make an appointment. I was told that they were about an hour out for walk-ins for a tire rotation and while I could make an appointment, it would do no good because they take walk-ins ahead of their appointments, no matter how many there are, so I could still be kept waiting for hours. I then packed a book and drove there to become a walk-in customer. I didn't appreciate being ignored in the lobby because they seemed to assume that I was with an old dude who was already being helped. News flash - women own cars, too! (The line was also being held up because one guy was on the phone explaining to someone else how their "appointments" are meaningless.) When someone finally acknowledged me, I was told that they were 2 1/2 hours out, just 20 minutes after I was told one hour. OK, things happen, but this is just dumb. Long story short, I called Les Schwab and was told that they do give priority to customers with appointments, so I will be going there next week. Unless you have a chauffeur to drop you off and bring you back hours later, don't take your vehicle here - it's strictly a first-come-first-served place. I gave them two stars instead of one because they are a tire shop and did at least answer the phone, but that's about all I know. read more

Runaround and lack of integrity. Called ahead to get two small 205/75/15 tires for my trailer at 9: 30 a.m, and dropped them off at 9:50 a.m. Tires already pulled off the trailer and ready to be swapped out. I understand that they get busy, but they originally said that they would be done at 12 o'clock. Came back at 12 after getting my truck in the dealership, all service is completed and done, to where they haven't even touched the tires yet they mentioned that it would be done by 1 o'clock, I come back at 12:45 and they still haven't touched them. Magically between 12:55 and 1 o'clock they got them mounted and balanced, but only after I was about to take them and go somewhere else. I also paid everything upfront before the services were done. No apology, not an ounce of accountability, and no attempt to try to make it right. Seems like this type of service is all too common place. read more

DO NOT go to this shop for oil service. Tires, ok, but whomever did the oil change on my wife's Audi had no idea what he was doing and destroyed the oil pan by stripping the drain plug. Major expense and hassle. They're all nice enough, but I don't trust the mechanics beyond tire work. (Thanks Lana, for the response. To update, Big O warranty is covering the cost of repair, But it appears big O does not know how to work on foreign cars. We are out of town when the leak showed up again, and took it to another Big O (St. George, UT on Sunset) for the warranty work. They've had the car for 7 days and we are still waiting for the car to be repaired. This morning we hear they have ordered the wrong part pushing us back another day having to miss work, pay for hotels, etc..) Needless to say, we will be pretty vocal opponents to anyone using Big O for mechanical work. read more

Absolutely worst people! Super dishonest. I don't even know where to start with these people. Tried to fix something that he admitted wasn't broken. Tried to take advantage of us when our tire fell off and were in a difficult situation. Charged fees he didn't disclose. Didn't keep his commitments. I had to followup every day and he kept telling me he had forgotten. I feel bad for Heber people having so few choices to get service. Whatever you do, don't go with these people. Go with anyone else. This is my response to your response below. 1. Your diagnosis was wrong. The axle was not bent. He took it to someone else and they fixed it and it's sitting in front of my house as we speak. That's why you should refund your fee. You were wrong and admitted you doubted what the trailer people said. And it turns out he was wrong. 2. That person was not my brother in law and you let an unknown person, to you, off the street come in and change the name on my account and take my boat without even a simple phone call to verify it and all the BS you said was not with me and I had no conversation with him until after all this happened. You're lucky he didn't steal it! I was the owner of that boat and now I have to worry about paying him what he did with my boat. As I told you. I didnt want you to preceded because I was looking to buy a used boat trailer on KSL, of which I found, but instead my brother shows up with a repair and boat trailer I didn't want. But because you were so unprofessional I'm stuck with this mess! 3. Even with what you said, you never had me or anyone else sign anything agreeing to a fee. Nor did you tell anyone there would be a fee. That's dishonest whether you're making money or not. It's your responsibility to be clear with what you are going to charge and get a customers agreement before you do any work for a charge. Including looking at vehicles. 4. I hope $170 is worth a bad review on google, yelp and the better business bureau, that potentially remain for many years to come! And lastly, I don't need your number. You have no plan to make things right and you don't mean to help because if you did you'd call me. You have my number! You guys haven't been around long and have racked up a lot of bad reviews. You should really take your service seriously if you want to be around and provide security to your employees. Do your research, do a simple google search, "how much does each bad google review cost a company" it'll blow your mind. Summary: typical mechanic shop ripping people off, but maybe worse because they gave my boat to someone other than me without my authorization. After taking our recently purchased 4runner to the dealership we purchased it from for a mechanically issue, Chris found and fixed a connection issue within 10 minutes. Wow! I have, not for a long time, dealt with a salesperson who was not only rude but downright hateful - for no reason! No confrontation. Just stepped up to the counter smiling and got an evil eye from a horrible unhappy older man who should not be dealing with the public. Curtly told me they could fix my tire until tomorrow as they were too busy and dismissed me like I wasn't there. As I walked out the man behind me told me that he has had the same experience with this guy and stood back and let me go ahead of him because he didn't want to have to deal with this "a - hole." Then as this guy (total stranger) and I were talking in the parking lot 2 other guys who just dealt with him said the same word about the same desk clerk in Big 0. Now I have to say that the guy to let me in front of him had a very nice younger guy with dark brown hair who was really nice - but the older dude should not be dealing with the public. Even if you've had the worst day of your life should you not people the way he does. What a jerk! So. I simple went to Les Schwab down the street and bought 4 new tires and a battery and they were as nice as they could be and fixed my flat in 20 minutes! I'm not one for leaving a review but I'll keep it brief, these guys are a bunch of clowns. They basically had my truck in their shop for over 3 weeks with little to no communication and every time a got a hold of someone they would tell me "oh sorry it will be another two days and will cost this much." After two days go by, not hearing from them I reach out again and they tell me, "next week and it will cost this much." This happened for 3 weeks! They had to replace my oil pressure switch and refurbish the heads on one of the cylinders. They basically had to take the entire engine apart. THREE weeks of having to carpool to work and after paying over 5k for the repairs. I finally get my truck back and 4 days later Im driving to work and my truck starts beeping and saying "no oil pressure shut engine off." This was a message I have never received on my vehicle until after having them replace some parts. Luckily I made it to work and drove back to Big O that afternoon asking for a refund or to fix the issue. I got neither! The guy basically tells me that they replaced the oil pressure switch hoping that would've fixed the check engine light. Then he goes on to say that if my truck kept having issues then it was a deeper problem like the oil pump. (Seriously!? Why would you replace something and "HOPE" that it would resolve the issue? If you had my truck for over three weeks and basically took the entire engine apart why didn't you just replace the oil pump in the first place!?) Absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional...He then said he could look at it for free to give it a diagnosis. I asked if that could be done the same day and he was not sure. I'm SHOCKED at this point! I then took it to another auto shop and showed them everything they had done and they also were very confused about all the work they had done on my truck. I feel like THESE GUYS BASICALLY ROBBED ME OF 5k AND BROKE MY TRUCK WITH ZERO REMORSE OR INTEGRITY. read more

I ordered new studded snow tires a day ahead and payed for them. I got a call at 10am the next day that my tires had arrived. I dropped my car off at 10:30. At 3pm I drove over in my wifes car and saw my car in the lot with new tires no studs. I spoke to the salesman who assured me the studs were installed. I looked again, no studs. I give him back the keys and told him to call me when it is done correctly. At 5:45 he calls and says they cannot get to it today. I told him to switch back my summer tires and refund my money. He said he will see what could be done. I drove back to the store and sat in the waiting area. At 6:45 he says it is done. I drive back to get my wife and return to pick up the car with the studs. We get home and we are taking the tires out of the car and I see some stuff in the back seat. New car switch out all the little stuff and put in small boxes in the back of the car. Someone had thrown the boxes in the back seat so the old tires would fit in the back. 25 years I have only bought tires from this shop. It was resently sold and it shows massively. What disrespect.
