They screwed me over big time . I got a set of tires from them and they said they do a front end inspection for me for free. They told me they didn't find any issues . Well, less than a year later I'm doing a tire rotation and find that they are wearing unevenly and have lost more than half their life . Now I'm going to have to spend another $900 on a new set of tires . New ball joints and steering knuckles at least another $1,000 , not to mention the labor . They've lost a customer for life . Their tires are awful quality as well. They are awful in the snow even with brand new tread , and our Slicker in the rain then my original set that was half bald . Not to mention I had to replace a single Tire​ later on ​ because it had a bubble in it. They had me fooled by accommodating for my time and seemed like great service, but their product is crap and their workers are obviously lazy to miss the cause of why my tires were still wearing unevenly after getting a brand new set from them, a balance from them, and an alignment from them . That's $650 down the drain and costing me three times that much again later on. read more

My Mother, who is 79 years old had a screw/nail in her front passenger tire. The car in question has less than 25k miles on it. The MAKE SURE let's me Know they have had issues with this store before saying they have things that they don't. They say yes. Of course when we get there "We don't have it". The people at this location are pretty friendly and try to help but I feel like prices were way too high for services performed. $800 + for tires. There's definitely better value elsewhere. The cost estimator on the website is a great idea but when the actual job ends up costing $300 more it's pretty useless. Big O used to be a place you could go in a pinch and not pay an arm and a leg. well first I want to start this review by saying that the manager seems like a very nice guy. he comes across as a legit guy. BUT.... this was MY experience today. I had an appointment for a simple oil change. I arrived 10 minutes early n they took my car in exactly at my appointment time. 50 minutes later the young lady at the front desk called me up n said.. "your front tires are COMPLETYELY BALD n I needed an front end alignmment. I told her I would not be doing that today I just wanted the oil change n thx. she didnt seem happy about that. half an hour later when they brought my car around it had been driven through their back lot which has 6" deep potholes that are bigger than a truck. my freshly washed car n its freshly treated tires had a "mud" issue all of a sudden. the paper they put on my drivers side floor meant nothing because it was FULL of mud n water. I took the car BACK to the car wash n then to a a mechanic that i trust. I told him what I was told n he said.. they rotated your tires which WAS the correct "FIX" that my tires were not "completely bald" . that rotating them was the right thing not do. I would get another year or so out of the tires n THEN I could replace all 4 n get an alignment done at the same time. SO... I do not appreciate being lied to. I think about elderly people going there n her not being honest with them. a simple ROTATION was all that was needed. but she wanted that upsell. SHAME ON HER. I hope big o takes this seriously n has a calm with the stall. I will NEVER go back to this location. EVER. read more

I'm not sure why this big O tire store has a state wide mask required sign on their door and yet they allow employees and customers inside without masks. Just one worker who seem to be to be the owner walked around and waited on customers without a mask Resulting in another customer dropping his down to his chin. I went in for an oil change. Had an appointment at 12 and didn't leave there until 3. They also did tire checks. They stated mine was at a 2/3 and showed me 1 tire and I was shocked! It was bald! The next day I went to look at my tires again because I wanted a better look and the tire they showed me in shop is not the same tire I saw the next day. I have a gut feeling they switched out a tire to get some money out of a woman. They were definitely nice people and engaged in conversation. This location used to be my favorite. In the past year I have purchased two sets of tires from them. They've recently had a manager change and the service and reliability has declined tremendously. Justin is the new manager and he does a very poor job of handling the daily workload. I arrived at 7:30am to have a tire plugged. There were 3 people ahead of me waiting on the shop to open at 8am. My husband was still waiting at 930am. I called and spoke with Justin who proceeded to lie and say that 20 people showed up at the same time. Sir, my husband is sitting in the waiting area with 6 other people who got there AFTER HIM....that are also complaining. A lady that was there first at 7am left because they took several people ahead of her. And no one had an appointment so don't use that excuse. You guys asked me to buy a warranty to cover tire plugs. I did that and each time I have to get a tire plugged it's a 4-5 hour services. Poor service!!!! Poor, poor service. Go back to the previous manager ASAP!!! The ball joints they put on back in July. They didn't oil them so they are ruined and that's what that squeaking noise is my truck had been making and my caliper is leaking oil. So now I'm paying another place to fix what they didn't do right. Guess that happens when you turn a tire guy into a mechanic. Good tires + Good Service = one happy customer. I've purchased several sets of tires over the years at this location. I strayed with my set and made a purchase from another automotive center. The tires were okay, but the service was not good on the many visits I had for rotations during the life of the tires. I switched back to Big O brand, as well as this location, for my most recent set and all is good again. I was pleased to see many of the same employees still there. This is my favorite Big O. I bring my car in regularly for oil change/tire rotation and it's always fast and the best price in town. Last time I had them do a free alignment check and to my surprise they said everything was fine. Last night I hit a snow covered curb and destroyed one of the tires I didn't have a road hazard warranty and had to get a replacement. They gave me a great price on a new tire (with a road hazard warranty) and had my spare put back and the new tire on my car in about half an hour. I bought a set of tires in Bardstown at Big O. I had the Bardstown store attempt to balance them twice. I had the Elizabethtown store attempt to balance them and I had the Shepherdsville road store attempt to balance them. For the record they never did get balanced and were eventually returned for a full refund. My problem is while at the Shepherdsville Road location they scratched my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado on the lower part of the door in an area that is difficult to damage. When I say scratch I mean more like a ding from a tool. The truck is a one owner truck and there is no doubt in my mind they scratched/dinged it. I called the store repeatedly and was met with resistance. They did not give me the proper channels to go through to file a complaint. I finally got a hold of corporate file my complaint in about four days later the manager of the store called me. He told me he did an investigation on what happened and determined that they were not at fault. Imagine that! I asked him if they had any cameras and he told me no and told me to basically let it go they did not damage my vehicle. Have bought for set a tires from them each one close to nine hundred dollars. It's not about the money it's about bad business. I will never use big O tires again and that's a shame because I buy close to four sets of tires each year. read more

I took my 2015 ford f250 super duty in this morning. It had the death wobble very dangerous. I had it fixed at a different big o store. They said the track bar wich big o replaced with a after market part. Well it came loose and they say they put some locktite on it. Less than 200 miles later doing the same thing. They didn't even take for a test drive. This is very dangerous and is risking my life and many others. Plus they charged me for a job they didn't do correctly and ruined two almost new tires. read more

I was in the freeway the next day and heard strange noises and made it to a different big o location where they were shocked at the terrible mess they found with my tire.
