My boyfriend and me went in to get new tires put on his rims. His other tires were still good but didn't fit his rims so he wanted to keep them. Instead of them bringing them out with his other tires they put them in the back so we had to ask for them back. When we were leaving my boyfriend realized they didn't put his valve caps back on. He went back in to ask them where his valve caps were and they acted clueless. I would not recommend going here to get your tires done. read more

I really hate coming into Big O on Cherry in Meridian Idaho. EVERYTIME I walk in, they either ignore me or just take my keys. If I talk they just shake their heads and I feel dismissed. Well as a Big O fan all my life, I'm bummed to update my review to a 2 star. I will not be a customer of theirs any more. I called ahead to ask if they could put a tire on, and they said yes. I dropped off the car and left for several hours. I came back and they didn't even know I wanted them to start working on it. I said yes, so they said they'd have it fixed the next day. 2 days later with no phone call, I called, and after searching all over their shop, they finally found my fixed tire. I didn't like that they treated me like this was all my fault, with no apologies. read more

the absolute worst experience from a tire shop. I called ahead to schedule and purchase two new tires. The man said that give him a half an hour and bring it down and they would take care of it quickly. I went down a half hour later and I was there for over an hour while they worked on other cars and left mine on Jack's, when I called I requested a front in alignment check they said they would do it no problem, but when I went to pay the bill, they said they just didn't have time. They only had one man who could do it And he was busy with other customers . They left grease on my driver seat. They didn't even check the air pressure on my tires , I have one very low at 33psi. I will stop by and get my air pressure taken care of by Les Schwab, which will be my go to tire replacement service in the future. read more

Staff was very friendly and professional. The guys identified my issue with my one bad tire and got to work on it. Great news was the big o guys were able to patch my tire saving me the expense of buying a brand new tire. The guys fixed my tire, put the new tire on, took my spare off, and reloaded the spare back under the truck. This is the third tire these guys have done for me. Pros: Love my tires. They had the best price in town for what I was looking for. The guy who helped me was nice. Cons: I take really good care of my truck and have it taken in and checked out all the time have only had one issue with it ever. I take it in for my tires and they tell me that my control arm has gone bad in my truck. Say it's $350 to fix. My dad says they don't have a bad reputation around town and they are probably telling me the truth. I go ahead and fix it and the next day after I get it back my check engine light comes on. I put in my obd2 reader and it says I need to replace my throttle control sensor. So after buying tires 2 things mysteriously goes wrong with my truck. Not sure if saving the $100 bucks on tires was worth going to them to now have all these issues arise. I will continue to go to get my tires aligned and rotated through these tires but will probably not buy from them again or fix what they say needs done without taking it to another mechanic first to check out. read more

I use this tire store almost excursively for years, they handle all warranty, rotations, sales, and maintenance in a timely and professional manner. One review stated they were turned away. I just don't see the owners or any of their help doing something like this unless they showed up with a none emergency at closing time. read more

I took my truck into Big O Tires as I replaced my inner and outer tie rods and upper and lower ball joints. On May 5th I called Big O and explained what I did and they told me that the alignment would be $59.95 and I could drop it off at any point that day. I headed over to Big O and of course my alignment was terrible and so I again explained the situation and even showed them a picture that my steering wheel was turned to the side in order to go straight, I was again told that it would be $59.95 to align it. Fast forward 6 hours and I drop off my wife to pick up my Silverado and she called me a few minutes later. She informed me that the invoice showed $59.95 but it was crossed out and $79.95 was written in it's placed. She told me that the tech informed her that he had called me and verified it was okay which was a lie. She also informed me that he said that with how far out my alignment was that they couldn't get it perfectly straight. I then proceeded to call Big O and I was transferred to the tech that did my alignment and he said that due to how far out my alignment was that he was charging me the extra and I couldn't do anything about it. I asked him why I wasn't called to verify this but he refused to answer my question and eventually hung up. I then called back and demanded to speak to the Manager and I explained him the situation, he informed me that the tech said he called me and verified it was okay which was a lie. I informed the manager of this and he ended up refunding me the extra $20 that was charged. A few minutes later my wife called me again, she had turned into our neighborhood and my truck started to violently shake so she pulled off to the side. I immediately headed her way and crawled under my truck to see that my drivers side outer tie rod end nut was missing and so of course my tie rod end popped out. I looked at the tie rod end on the other side and that nut was loose and of course no cotter pins were inserted to help hold them. I called the shop back and I was told that it was not there problem. I am very grateful that the tie rod end popped out when my wife was going just a few miles an hour instead of being on the freeway as someone would have more than likely been killed. I then had to order a new tie rod end nut online, rendering my truck useless for 4 days and my alignment is not very straight either so I am going to have to take it to another shop and get it aligned again. I am blown away at my mistreatment at your shop as I have never been treated in such an awful way. read more

These are genuinely nice guys who go out of their way to take good care of customers. I was just in there again this morning, having a pretty bad day, and dealing with a flat tire I didn't have time for. Let me just say, these guys went above and beyond, solved my problem, let me vent my frustrations, (unrelated to them) and I walked out of there with a smile on my face. They made a real difference. What tire store does that? Who takes time to sit down and listen to their customers any more? You won't get this kind of personal service at the big box stores or national chains. No service vehicle?! My rear tire in my vehicle was slowing leaking air so I brought it in to get it checked out (for free since I bought my tires at another Big 0) and they informed me that they could not find a hole in my tire. They thought it was a leak between my tire and alloy wheel, so they used a rubber barrier to seal it and fix the problem. The next day when I was driving to work I realized the same tire they worked on the day before was now completely flat! I called them and let them know the problem and asked for a service vehicle to come out and fix my tire. To my surprise they do not have a service vehicle! I'm stranded on the side of the road in the snow with a 6 month old baby in the car and they suggest for me to either inflate it myself (with what?!), or call a tow truck (who will pay for that?!) what a disappintment. I love the Big O store in Boise on State Street. I guess next time my tire is low I will have to go across town to get that taken care of right the first time. read more

I called and asked for a quote and the manager gave me a quote, I then asked if they can do it tonight and they said yes, I showed up to have it done but the owner said they are way too busy to do it. Raised his voice and was very unprofessional. I asked to speak to the manager that I spoke to on the phone but he said he was the one speaking to me on the phone. I went in for an oil change and when I got home my truck had oil pouring out from under the front end of the motor. Checked the dipstick and no oil showing! So I put couple quarts in and drove it back. They did fix the problem, but then stood there and lied to my face about what was wrong! If they had said my guy got in a hurry and just made a mistake and it's fixed, I would have had no problem with that. But to tell me that the drain plug had a bad seal and it was dripping when I lost 2 quarts that fast and the oil was on the front of the motor? I'm not an idiot! Told me the oil pan pressurizes when you shut off the motor and that's why it leaked so much, lol. STOP LYING to people about your simple mistakes! I know the oil was coming from the filter, not sure if he just didn't tighten it or left the old o-ring on there with the new filter, but don't BS me!!! Don't think I will go back!! And I have used them for 4yrs, SAD!!! read more
