Driven Automotive exceeded expectations. The barometer for me is always customer service. From the first impression, service writer Steve Lee knocked it out of the park. I requested service on my vehicle on short notice and Steve was kind enough to place me on a waitlist. Not expecting a call back, he did indeed and squeezed my vehicle in the next day. The Driven Automotive facilities are modern, well maintained, and make it obvious that customer impressions matter to them. Steve conveyed clear understanding of our maintenance needs and gave us clear expectations. Ultimately, Driven Automotive didn't try to upsell me on service not readily needed and provided solid advice and guidance on potential future service. The credibility already established from the first phone call gave me confidence that Driven Automotive are pros interested in letting their work product and reputation be their greatest selling point. Called Driven Auto to get my skid place fixed (ended up needing replaced). They got me in the very next day. It was refreshing walking into an auto shop and not being treated like you don't know what you're talking about. Every man working over the 2 days I went was so polite and helpful. The waiting room was SO nice and had couches, tv, amenities, etc and was overall very welcoming (free wifi as well for those who care). Amazing. We're in from out of town and needed something quite simple. Our plan was to leave in 2 days and they squeezed us in and fixed the issue. .... And we were on our way. The work was for a window washer pump replacement. It was completed quickly, accurately and within a reasonable price. The staff is beyond helpful and friendly. Just excellent to deal with. I am solidly impressed by this service provider. The ethics and "above and beyond" demonstrate to me a provider that can be trusted. And when it comes to an important car, that is everything. Here's the evidence based on our first experience. 1) Starter went out on our 2013 Kia (my estimation). After a few calls at 3pm, Driven was able to accommodate assessment/repair the next day after we had it towed the later in the afternoon. 2) During the call, the Service Writer looked up starters available in the area, gave a few options, and provided material and labor cost estimates. 3) They offered an evaluation for $65. Given I didn't electrically test things, good idea to do. Very pleased to receive a comprehensive vehicle assessment and written report instead of just confirming that the starter was the problem (vs. flywheel, etc.) 4) Service Writer did additional searching once the vehicle was dropped off and found another brand new starter that about $200 less. They passed that savings to us instead of pocketing the difference. 5) Details and status can be communicated real-time to your cell phone, which ensures you're not in the dark about progress and status. 5-star is really a reserved status in my mind. They replaced the wrong part. Next, they accuse my wife of telling them the wrong part and it was all her fault. Then they made no offer to correct the situation other than to reschedule and pay for another full repair. They used to be really great and a place that I would recommend to everyone, especially if they had a Toyota. But now I would recommend you steer clear of them. read more

Back in mid-July I had taken my Lexus in for a major service.This was not my first visit to Driven, so I felt very comfortable to have them perform this major service. Low and behold 3 months later it appeared something had been missed. I called it in and they were quite eager to amend the issue of my concern. When we lived in Boise 6 years ago, we took our Lexus RX300 here for servicing. We just purchased a 2008 RX350 from an individual in Boise and came down from CDA to pick it up. Exceptional experience today on our '02 Tundra that had a mysterious squeak from the front end. In talking to the owner Brian we gained a lot of confidence in that he only drives Toyotas & sees them just as bullet-proof as we do. We also like the fact that they specialize in Toyota(although do other makes too). Turned out our squeak was an incredibly minor deal & we were not taken for a ride being fooled into thinking we needed all this other work, or the squeak was something major. Very, very honest shop who only does needed repairs & takes pride in their work...& gets it done the same day! If I could give Driven 10 stars I would! These guys have worked on all the cars we own, and we are NEVER disappointed with their work. We had to move from Idaho to Virginia, and while I was back visiting I took my Nissan Cube in for a shimmy when breaking. They fixed it right up, checked my fluid levels, and the air pressure in my tires, and I am ready for the drive back to Virginia. I took my GMC in with the 'check engine' light on. They determined it was a vacuum leak, and suggested that since my truck is 15 years old we try replacing the gas cap before we get into more expensive options. They put a factory cap on it and reset the codes. Everything has been great since. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and actually plan on taking my wife's car there for it's 60,000 mile maintenance. read more

They used quality Lexus parts and Brian included an extra part that needed replaced once he got in there to ensure the integrity and safety of my vehicle at no extra charge to stay within his original quote (which was $130 less than Meineke who DOESN'T specialize in Lexus). I brought my Toyota here on the recommendation of a friend because my check engine light was on, and I was worried about not passing the Ada County emissions test. They told me that one of the sensors in the catalytic converter indicated it might need to be replaced, but that the car would drive just fine without any repair, and I would probably be able to pass the test. They reset the light and I was able to pass the emissions test later that week. I am thankful for their honesty and not selling me a costly unnecessary repair! read more
