Big Pink has one of the largest menus that I have ever seen. There are all sorts of typical diner food options as well as many drink choices. I got the "Pink Daddy Mac" which was a very large burger. It probably could have been split between two people and there would have been enough for both people. The quality of the food was fairly average. The wait staff is very friendly and kind. Even though they were very busy the server was able to stop by the table multiple times to check in on everything. The restaurant has an old-school diner look and feel just much larger. There is also a good amount of outdoor seating. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Big Pink and it's not a bad place to stop by to have a quick meal. read more

Amazing value for the price. Like many others have said in reviews... the portions are huge. I rode past big pink in an uber ride and noticed how many people were standing out front so I had a feeling that's a place I wanted to try. I came back later with my husband after late night drinks - it was about midnight on a Saturday night. There were only 4-5 groups in the room and we got service as soon as we walked in. We tucked into one of the booths. The kind server told us about his favorite dishes and took our orders. I ordered a chicken sandwich, but really only needed half of the chicken for the sandwich. You can't go wrong with Big Pink for brunch. We stopped in for breakfast and were so happy with the food and service. Food came out fast and food was solid. Ambiance was great - however slightly warm inside. I didn't mind it but maybe would have opted for outdoor seating if it weren't so hot out. Ordered: Breakfast burrito - 3 star, not a fan of the beans were manageable. Nutella waffle - 4 star, these were so so good. Calling all of the chocolate lovers!!! Big Pink is definitely an overhyped tourist trap in South Beach. The line to be seated was out the door for Saturday brunch. Luckily our large group had a reservation and was seated quickly. The restaurant itself was overcrowded with people and no AC. This made the dining experience uncomfortable. Because we had a large group, it took our food an hour to come out. Bad.... Just so bad. We came by at 9:30pm for dinner before a concert across the street. The waiter didnt come to our table for 15 minutes and the only thing he said was "you ready to order?". 15 minutes later he showed up with our drinks and was moving so slowly - visibly struggling to not spill them and place them on the table. A different waiter showed up to deliver us another tables food. We finally got our food an hour later and it was bad. A medium burger with egg was so well done it was chard and the egg was fried hard. Fries cold and soggy. Philly cheese steak was fine, zero flavor, seasoning etc. It was edible but for $20 a plate, you'd expect it to be way better. We finished, plates were cleared and another 15 minutes sitting the waiter showed back up and said "ready for the check?" Pretty sure he was super high. The Big Pink is always a must stop when you are in Miami. Make sure you arrive early because it is ALWAYS packed. The vibes are solid, the food is better. Be prepared to read a ton, the menu has a million things on it. We came for breakfast around 10:30 and had about a 25 minute wait. Wasn't my best experience here but was pretty solid. I initially ordered the mojito. I'm a mule kind of guy so I had to switch it up and order something different. So I requested a marg, can't go wrong there. So, I'm dumb and ordered the breakfast pizza. The description didn't have tomato sauce in it. I can't eat tomatoes, should've told them I have an allergy but I assumed. The server was nice enough to switch out my meal. Went with the biscuits. There was a bit of confusion because they forgot my chicken sausage. But either way, the biscuits were soo tasty! I was a bit worried because from afar they looked dry, but they weren't. I would 100% order this again. The menu is so expansive this will become a safe bet. All of the food is huge. The menu is a bit overwhelming because there are so many options available. It's so hard to choose. So we are here multiple days in a row to continue trying all of the different options. There is typically a wait to be seated but it is definitely worth it. Your waitress or waiter will make your experience. The first day we had a female and she was awesome but the next day the guy we had was very slow and we had to ask other staff for most of what we needed. The breakfast burrito is enough for two people and so worth ordering. The pancakes get me every time. They are cooked to perfection and the eggs and cheese are always a good choice. I don't care for the way the potatoes are cooked and the French toast is too thick for me. The serving size is very large though. After going to a couple spots for dinner in my area and the kitchens already closed, I ended up on the beach and at Big Pinks, a place I enjoy whenever I'm on the beach, usually late and typically drunk. I was sober and not too hungry but my friend def wanted to eat. He ordered a shrimp poboy and we both got drinks. I had an espresso martini which was amazing and got a side of sweet potato fries to snack on. My friend enjoyed his meal as I did my drinks. My server was awesome. He was friendly and gave great recommendations. It was my bday last week so my friend ordered me a brownie and my server alerted the restaurant what day it was and what I was celebrating. We were visiting South Beach for a long weekend and went here twice bc it was that good! The menu is huge and it matches their portions as well. Our favorites were the chicken and waffles and the Philly cheesesteak! The Kobe burger with an egg was good, but nothing special as was the meatball sub. The french fries were perfectly cooked and their homemade chips were to die for! We also tried a slice of the red velvet cheesecake which is $20. It was a huge slice enough to split with a few people. It was very good, nothing different than we have had before. All desserts are made there which is nice. So the service was pretty good but the food was underwhelming. I had such high expectations for the food here, maybe it's what I ordered but I wish I hadn't ordered the Brioche French Toast. It tasted slightly stale and dry. Also, the syrup bottle that I got was nearly empty and the ingredients in the syrup weren't the best. Has preservatives and corn syrup. No bueno. For this restaurant to be associated with the Prime family, it sure does carry no weight for the name. The Fried Oreos (pictured) were pretty tasty but too much dough and not enough Oreo. It sucks because I have to stay away from milk and cheese products as much as possible and I don't eat meat so unfortunately I couldn't try their more popular dishes such as the Skillet Mac n' Cheese or the Chicken n' Waffles so maybe if I had, my rating would be higher but i'll be back! read more

A very good breakfast experience on a weekday on a trip to Miami. I ordered only breakfast food and all of it was very delicious. The indoor seating is plentiful. There is bar seating, center restaurant table seating and table booth seating which is first-come-first served. I recommend arrived early or during off peak hours if you desire round-table booth seating. This place is fast-moving, as waiters constantly walk around serving customers. I sat near the kitchen and within clear shot to see plenty cooks preparing food. I did appreciate how quickly the food came out after ordering. The food portions here are huge. At least as far as breakfast is concerned. Everything from the eggs, French toast, omelette, home fries, etc. were served in large portion. To me this is a huge selling point as sometimes restaurants can serve smaller portions for breakfast which is disappointing considering the cheap cost to prepare breakfast staples. My favorite dishes were the French toast and home fries. Surprisingly the French toast was made to perfection using brioche bread. The cinnamon was used perfectly and so was the powdered sugar. I was impressed with the detail in the preparation as the French toast had the perfect fried exterior which is indicative of the appropriate use of the egg batter. The home fries were hot, fresh and seasoned well which some restaurants skip perfecting the seasoning aspect of the dish. Overall a very good experience and I will definitely return the next time I am in Miami. Give them a try. read more

We were staying at the hotel down the street and the front desk recommended this place. First of all it's super packed and super loud inside. It was just too hot to eat outside. Reminds me of a good old fashion greasy spoon diner. The menu was quite overwhelming and had pretty much everything under the sun. Also there is a bar with every drink known to mankind. The prices are not as high as next to the beach but there's still an 18% service charge. The food was very OK. Nothing spectacular. Just huge portions like you would expect. I think I ran into the owner or manager as we were leaving and open the door for the guy. He didn't even say thank you. Complete douche and for that reason nobody should come here. read more

Actually, everything here was really huge. The portions were outstanding! I have to say, you're getting your money's worth for your food. My favorite would have to be the tater tot nachos, pretty great for an appetizer! Some cons I would say would be that the table we had was directly under sunlight, so it was pretty hot. BUT we asked if we could move our table under the tent after we got all our food. Another con is that when seated outside, your basically gawked at by everyone waiting to get in to eat. Love this place. My server was Hermona (forgive me if I spelled it wrong). We were there during the Miami Marathon weekend for breakfast. The coffee comes in a large mug and refills are included.
