I've heard about this spot and was taken here for my birthday and it did NOT disappoint at all. Started off with a thick and delicious crab cake that came with a sauce that was wonderful. Ordered the chicken and waffle, a hug piece of chicken and a large fluffy waffle. I carefully drizzled it with hot sauce and syrup for a beautiful combination. I noticed that the chicken wasn't overly seasoned so it wouldn't take away from the "chicken & waffle" experience. I had a drink called the pain killer that consisted of 3 or 4 types of rum.... it truly caught up with me later that night and for good measure I had a Jai Alai IPA to wash it all down. Don't be fooled by the long line in the morning, you get seated pretty quickly! Everytime I've come to south beach, I've been discouraged from waiting in line in the heat! It looks a little run down and there's nothing special about it. There are several tvs mounted on the walls. We had to wait about 10 minutes before our waiter even came to the table. That was a little frustrating because there were two waitresses standing around who could've assisted. Because of COVID, the menus are digital. They have an extensive menu! There are soooooo many options--hamburgers, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast items, etc. We had the spinach and artichoke dip as our appetizer. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast biscuits with home fries. I ordered the waffle combo with bacon and scrambled eggs. The food arrived so fast! The spinach dip was absolutely amazing. Pros: the serving sizes are HUGE! I had the veggie burger with polenta fries and it was great, I had enough left overs to have a proper dinner the next day. Overall this place is good. We were looking for a bite to eat in South Beach after traveling and while waiting for our hotel room to be ready. This place was walking distance from the hotel we were staying at. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It's set up like a diner/sports bar so a lot of TVs with news and sports playing in the background. It's basicaan extensive menu. If you don't like many choices, then this place is not for you. You will be confused as to what to order. Most of their dishes are big so consider sharing if you are not too hungry. What we got: 1. Mac and cheese - this dish is actually a side but two people can easily share. It comes in a hot mini skillet with toasted breadcrumbs on top. It was a traditional mac and cheese and very good. 2. Turkey Burger - very juicy and flavorful turkey burger. You can add cheese. It came with fries and pickle. Definitely recommend. 3. Regular Beef Burger - also very good, juicy and flavorful. 4. The portion size was great. Many people left with a bag. Very few cleaned their plates. The taste of the food was spot on. The popular dish during our visit was Chicken and Waffles (check the photo). Noticing a trend in the area with scrambled eggs. The cooks are either not familiar with the request or just don't know how to mix eggs and cheese in a pan. The potatoes are a must have during any visit here!!!! Waitress Hermona: wasn't too attentive. I had to get her attention a few times to get something to drink. When I told her about the paper I found in the food she wanted to explain instead of getting another plate. She had personal issues going on and it showed in her work with us. Love this place! Went here w my dad for lunch yesterday. He lives nearby and goes there a lot but this was my first time. HUGE menu selection. HUGE portions. I got the chicken parm sandwich it was so big the bread could not even cover most of it. I ate 1/3 at the restaurant, the leftovers lasted two more meals! My dad could not finish his Cobb salad either! Someone sitting nearby at another table had a burger which was also enormous! Friendly staff, large open space. It was average which made it overpriced for me. Toast was a little burnt. I opted to have water since all beverages were over $5. This place was packed! Very eclectic menu but really good! Lots of great, delicious options for brunch and even sweet treats! We had breakfast pizza and corned beef hash. Both were great. The wait was crazy long as we were leaving - luckily we got seated pretty quick as there was just two of us. The line was down the block when we were done around noon. It comes with all your veggies, and their signature pink sauce. Delicious, and their fries are great too. I ordered mine medium well. The bun was super crispy too. My other time going to big pink I got this waffle burger, and wow! It was so good I ate the whole thing, and their portions are known to be super big! Delicious. Loved it! We got there at about 11a on a Saturday morning and waited a half hour to be seated for a table of two. This place seems to be busy all the time, we walked by a few hours later and there was still a line outside the door. On the food alone, this place would get five stars. However, this place is FAR from covid friendly. You are basically sitting on top of other people (after waiting 1+hour for a seat) and because it's the beach no one is wearing masks as they walk past your table. Because of this I felt pretty uncomfortable taking off my mask to eat. It's also quite loud so casual conversation is difficult. Terrible customer service! I requested outside seating. My table was too sunny! Asked the hostess and server Gamze several times to move to a different table. The hostess initially said my server did not have any open tables and that I could not be moved to another server's table (although Gamze has not served me yet). Cool! Big Pink has been a spot I keep raving about simply for the spinach dip that my friend and I had. The fact that it came with the chips plus the pieces of bread on the side, and once the spinach dip was finished, we were able to eat the rest of the bread?! Met a friend for lunch and he suggested this restaurant as it was on his go to list. It was a Thursday afternoon and no line which made him very excited as there is usually a long wait on weekends. If you suffer from making decisions on what to eat, this may not be the place for you. There were so many options, I decided to come on Yelp to see what was popular. Turns out many people raved about the Crabcake Benedict. I love seafood so this was an easy choice. Although I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come with a side like home fries or french fries. However, the portion was huge. It was a full size crabcake patty and egg on each English muffin and it was a delicious choice. One of my friends ordered the egg breakfast and my other friend ordered the Fire Rescue burger which came with fries so I ate some of hers. Their burgers are thick and tasty. Highly recommend. Okay this place is nice . The only things I didn't like of course is the parking trying to get here . We had to pay 40.00 to park due to no parking down this way . They had outdoor seating which was my preference all summer. I went here for brunch , it was okay. But I had a few days of superior dining prior so I could be tainted. The coffee was hot and so was the food I just wasn't impressed , and that's rare . If you're just looking to eat and be on collins then you found an accessible clean spot its just not top tier. Its location is ideal if you are staying near south beach but if you love pink like me you may slightly be disappointed. They should do more with their theme for sure. It was good. The Waffles where good. the chicken was breaded for extra crunchy. It had bacon, cheese and poached eggs. The eggs where over done. The yolk did not mix in with the chicken. The chicken was a little dry. If the poached egg had not been so done. It would have really made a difference in the dish. The hollandaise sauce was really good. I tried the Maryland Crab Cake Benny. Y'all! This place is amazing! My family and I arrived to Miami Beach late on Saturday night and were pleased to find this restaurant is open until 2:00 AM. Is about 1/3 full so was so we were unsure how it was going to go. We were all blown away at how fantastic everything tasted. My son got the vodka pasta, I got a pink house salad with salmon, my daughter got a quesadilla and fries and my husband got the pepperoni pizza!
