We stayed down there for a weekend getaway, and went to the restaurant for dinner, and back for breakfast. It was that good. Things are pretty spaced out, and it gets super busy. So service is pretty slow, but the food makes up for it! Forgot to take the dinner pics, but we got an order of the French toast. That can easily be split amongst 3 people! The spinach dip in a bread bowl- amazing! Got a steak, and kids meals. The next morning for breakfast I got the chicken and waffles. Everyone in my group said they enjoyed their food and the server was very friendly, however I was not a huge fan of my chicken and waffles egg benedict. The chicken was tasty and star of this dish, the eggs were cooked perfectly but the waffle was the downfall for me. It is a malted waffle with a heavy grainy taste to me so if you're looking for a light airy buttermilk taste then definitely skip this dish. Otherwise everything else was good. I usually order breakfast because it's my favorite meal of the day, but this time I ordered a bunless swiss mushroom burger with bacon. It was good but slightly overcooked and I love their hand-cut fries. The waffle was delish as usually but the butter was cold so it took a little time to meltdown. My wife scarfed down her Philly cheesesteak-she said it was really good as were the home made chips. As previously mentioned, I love this place and will be back again when I return in the fall. She was so sweet and made our experience so much fun! She has a very pretty smile and this infectious cheerfulness about her, you just can't help but be in a great mood when she is your server! She was also very knowledgeable, as she knew the big menu from front to back, and she was great at checking in on us to make sure we were all taken care of!
