It was very nice of the workers to let me sample a few options before deciding, and the customer service was smiley and friendly just as you would expect for such a classy and beautiful spot. The company who was repping Zenner was Hill Country Express. I need to brag loudly about the fine young man, RJ, who was working the stand. He had perfect manners, was a good sales person without being pushy, and thanked me for stopping. He even told me how much he loved having one of the Zenner peaches for breakfast. We ordered a peach, yes, peach and goat cheese pizza along with a margarita pizza to accompany our fresh figs, blackberries, bread, peach & chipotle goat cheese and aged balsamic vinegar...all from the farmers' market. At Lock Stock & Barrel, it's damning, because each item tastes better than the last and I start filling my arms with more than I can carry! If you're not careful, you will spend a fortune in here... But if you are careful, where's the joy? The only suggestion I have for this place is that they start carrying their shirts in larger sizes. When it is cold I often come for the warm and ready gumbo and tortilla soup. Their low carb ready to go meals have made my life so much easier during the busy week. They even have sourdough fresh made in the bakery. I usually end up here over most other stores for my main groceries due to the always pleasant experience.
