Upon further inspection, I saw the sock was caught on the metal coming out from inside tire wear from my stock set of Michelins on my TESLA MYP. I panicked as you would imagine. The next day, I drove down Katella Ave (starting from the Disneyland area) stopping the various tire shops (including Sam's Club and Costco) asking for quotes on the various tires, everything from Michelins, Falkens, Bridgestone etc. Every quote I received was more than 1500 since my tires are different in the front than in the back and they are 21". I live in Cypress and found my way to Fast Tires based on a recommendation from a friend that knows his cars and local shops. Gustavo, from Fast Tires, took the time to check out my car, explain the different tires he had, what the treadwear rating meant and also made a good suggestion on extending the life of my tires (for offset, he suggested I flip the tires on the rim since I couldn't rotate them. I ended up passing up an 1800 set of Michelins for a much less expensive set of Otani's from Fast tire. The Otani's have a similar treadwear as the Michelin set I was going to buy and drive as nice if not better. To top it off, Gustavo threw a package together for me that included rim repair (check out the before and after pictures) and an alignment to make sure my new set of tires wear evenly. I am very happy with the quality of work and the great price I got for my tires, rim repair and alignment at Fast tire! I highly recommend Gustavo and his team!

My right rear tire had a tire valve stem leak. Perturbed that I may have to buy a new set of tires, I remember reading good reviews about my local America's Tire, and thought I'd give them a shot. After I parked, an associate came up to me & I described the issue I had. After using an instrument to measure my tire tread & checking out my wiper blades, he informed me they can install a new tire valve stem. Best part? Absolutely free! It's part of America's Tire free flat repair, regardless if this was my first visit. Inside, the associate let me know my tire tread was good, despite being 7 years old. He suggested if I'd like new tires, he gave me a quote out the door for the cheapest available set, and said tires 10+ years old cannot be worked on, needing a mandatory change. Finally, he spotted my streaking wiper blades, and gave me the quote of $10/each for new wipers, including install. The estimated time for completion was 10:50 am, with actual finished work done swiftly by 10:25 am. Service was excellent! Quite relieved I didn't have to purchase new tires/pay for tire repair, I had my car in & out in not time. Plus, as I my car was brought out to me, the technician thanked me for coming to America's Tire, and gave me the business card of the manager. I felt welcomed & appreciated from the time I arrived, to the time I left. Color me impressed, America's Tire! You now have my patronage, going forward. I told him that I had a plug on my tire because the people at the dealer lost my tire lock, so about 3 months ago when I had a flat, I went to a tire repair shop and they couldn't do the normal flat tire patch since they couldn't unlock my tire. Yair took a look at my tire, and he said that there was a nail which was separate to the previous problem, and probably recent. To my great surprise he said he will not only repair the nail puncture, but also do the patch for my plug which I have been trying to do for some time(once I got my tire lock back from the dealer, because they had to order one since they lost it when I went for service) and went to the tire place where they did the plug but was told they wouldn't do it. Tried other tire places and they also wouldn't. I'm very grateful and impressed by this America's tire location for their customer service and attitude. They not even charged me for the flat repair, and went beyond my expectations. They didn't try to sell a new tire, like the one time that I went to Pep boys on South Street and my they said it wasn't repairable because it was close to the tire wall which I knew it was pure BS, since it was inside almost 2 inches from the wall and the tire was in great condition. I called on Saturday morning to confirm they could do the work; they agreed and I dropped the car off at 10:00 AM. I was told the job would take three to four hours. When I called three hours later (1:00 PM) to check on the status, I was informed that work hadn't even started. I called again five hours later, only to be told they couldn't finish the job because they lacked the parts for the rear axle. Despite knowing exactly what was needed from Friday's inspection, the shop took my car without having the necessary parts in stock. The shop then wanted to keep my car until Monday, but I explained that I needed it on Sunday. I requested a $100 discount--less than 10% of the total estimate--to cover a rental car, but I was repeatedly denied. I am frustrated that the shop accepted the job without parts, failed to provide any proactive updates, and forced me to call multiple times just to find out my car wasn't ready.

I pulled over my car and found huge bolt screw on the rear tire. OMG!! I searched for open tire center around that area but all was closed. I couldn't sleep at all due to low psi less than 14. Almost low!! I contacted my AAA insurance and Tesla Road assitance but I realized all road assistance to tow the car to the service center instead of repair the tire. I decided the closest tire shop called Big O Tires right near my home. The appointment was done by phone at 10 and I went there. It was packed. Looked so busy. I waited about 30 mins then the technician repared my tire. He showed my husband and I huge bolt screw about 1 inch long, half inch head. Unbelievable!!! I didn't drive in the construction area at all. What happened to me!!! Thank God!! God leaded us here not to go to other tire shops. They charged $49.99. The service was great, fast, the staff answered my questions about the tire service policy. I finally relaxed when I drove my car, sounded normal w psi 45. I experienced Big O tires for the 1st time. Had an experience where a different local tire shop left a small dent on my wheel in Long Beach. I had no choice but to try Alex Tires. It was meant to be. I found a tire shop that can change my air valve stems and rotate my tires without having to worry if they'll dent or damage my wheels. I ended up getting the rest of my air valves replaced two days after from my first visit. I got all four tires rotated as well. They ended up finding a nail in one tire. I asked to get it patched which was $15. Speedy and quality service. Service cost was reasonable and affordable, especially when compared to the car dealers. Daniela was kind and helpful. Another reason why I'll be a returning customer. I'd recommend this shop to anyone that cares for their rims and that wants to save money.
