The lighting was perfect for a family dining out experience (not super dark or halogen lights in your face). The only one issue was the service, which was sub par. Our server didn't check up on us once in the hour we were sat. Even after our meals were finished, we waited a good 15 minutes before we got restless and went up to the reception area to ask for someone to help us with the payment/boxing up leftovers. Don't get me wrong, the food came out in a timely manner and it was hot/fresh. It was just the tardy server that we all noticed. I'm giving it a 5 star rating because of all the Indian places I've tried in Indianapolis and Bloomington, the quality of the food was BEYOND amazing. I tried this spot after having tried most Indian spots in the greater Indy area and also trying an all-vegetarian Indian restaurant in greenwood (which I had previously considered to be the best) and while that's a cozy spot with great food/great service, this restaurant is most definitely the best in Indy (for veg AND non-veg options). 10/10 recommend for anyone craving Indian food in the Indy area.

This restaurant is located on the outskirt of the Fairfield Inn back parking lot. It is located in…read morethe building that use to be the old Scotty's Brewhouse. This is a restaurant and banquet hall that is available to rent. The restaurant has a decent sized dining area to the left as you enter. They have booths and a television paying Indian music videos. You will find a bar area and the banquet hall to the right as you enter the restaurant. They serve some Indian favorites, and I had to look up what they were before I ordered. I was all in on the Indian food and ordered a full ethnic meal. I stared with potato pakora with a sweet lassi to wash it down. I got a Seekh Kebab for my main course and a rice kheer, to-go, for dessert. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my food and it was fresh and hot. It came with three sauces, with the tomato one being my favorite. The Kebab came out sizzling like a fajita. I will admit that Indian food is an acquired taste and if you are not familiar with Indian food, such as I, then you are going in blind. My food was good. It was spicy, but not too spicy. I went with the medium heat, hot would have proably been too much for me. The potato pakora was decent. It was slightly bland, but the sauces really made it better. The lassi was very smooth and had a milk feel and a rice taste. I ate my dessert later and it was good. It was rice in a milky substance. The guy that was my server was very friendly, patient, helpful and attentive. I enjoyed my lunch here. This is a decent spot to catch a bite of authentic Indian food

We tried their chhole bhature, amritsari kulcha, aloo parantha and hakka noodles. Hakka noodles definitely weren't hakka rather some masala noodles and their mild wasn't even mild. 0/10. Chhole bhature - enjoyed the extras (onions, pickle and raita) more than chhole bhature. This is more of chana curry and puri 3/10 Amritsari kulcha - my first time trying this. Side of chana curry is same as with Chhole bhature. Liked the crispness of kulcha. Will give one more try before I decide a yay or nay for this. Aloo Parantha - what its supposed to be, the only item the way it should be in our order. Soft, flavorful and filling. 9/10 I had much higher expectations from this place. Would like to try a few other items from their street food menu to check how their appetizers are.

We walked into the restaurant which is to the side and a bright and open space. There aren't a ton of tables so it looks more like a spot for a quick bite or quick food while or after shopping. The menu is extensive and much of it was unknown to us. However the server graciously gave us suggestions and then would show us photos on her phone so we could imagine the dish. The prices are very reasonable for what you get, and we orders two appetizers and two Main Street food options and had plenty for three with leftovers! The appetizer was very tasty with paneer and spinach baked into a flavorful dough. The special burger my husband devoured and even said he would get it again for sure! They do not have chicken or meat on the menu but are all vegetarian, but you don't miss the meat at all! For us who eat mostly veggie or plant bars it was delightful to be able to order anything and know it was primarily made in house veggie based! Our dishes had five curries to try which we loved, but do note there is no spice option. They come as they come, so for those not enjoying much spice make sure to ask which options are milder. Ours came with yogurts and dips which cooled things down considerably, plus they have lassis which are great for cooling the tongue. We are already planning to go back and loved it! A very different fee than other spots and a more street food feel from the Panjab. Delicious!

We had Tandoori chicken legs (7) at $14.99, with a side of seasoned basmati rice and a garlic naan. Portions were generous and we shared on order and took 2 chicken legs home to boot. They have a wide array of items to choose from. Anything from gyros to Indian cuisines to American cuisine. I chose the lamb gyro. The meat was tender and juicy and they piled it on. Their tzatziki sauce was light and refreshing. The pita was extremely soft. They are doing a special right now for 9.99 you get a gyro, fries and drink. Hubby chose the Falafel gyro. The falafel wasn't dry which is a huge plus. There were approximately 5ish falafels on there and they were nice size. It was more than enough to fill the gyro. Pita was soft and everything was well seasoned We also ordered veggie samosas. They had a perfect blend of spices and veggies and the dough is flaky. Could use a dipping sauce though. Everything was made fresh to order so it did take a few mins but everything came out extremely hot and was absolutely amazing. Definitely will be returning soon to try their Indian dishes.
