Unfortunately, the first pullover started developing pulls almost immediately. One particularly long pull in the front snagged on something as minor as my cuticle--something that shouldn't even be possible. I also noticed additional pulls on the back, even though I had been careful with it. When I went into the store to discuss the issue, an employee was empathetic and directed me to the manager. However, the manager--a brunette helping a customer with ski goggles--was completely dismissive. When I explained the situation, she responded with, "Oh, it must have pulled on something." I acknowledged that it caught on my nail, but I was shocked that such an expensive pullover would be so fragile. Rather than offering any assistance or even engaging in a conversation about product quality, she quickly shut it down, saying they couldn't do anything since I had already had it for a few days. For a store selling high-end outdoor gear, I expected better durability and customer support. Spending around $130, I at least hoped for a discussion about quality assurance or a possible exchange. Instead, I was met with indifference. It felt like they cater more to tourists passing through than to customers who actually care about their purchases. If you're looking for durable gear from a store that stands behind its products, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

When I picked up the board, they had not only performed the previously discussed repairs, but they also did a bunch of p-tex work on the base and a wax, and still charged me the previously agreed upon price. Garrett was the first person to help me who was super friendly and very patient and tried different types until we found something decently comfortable. I ended up coming back and having to get a size down which Ashley helped me with. The next day I was having shinbang and came back for an adjustment. Taylor put some foam things on the shins to make it more comfortable but it still wasn't so he got me a different boot that had pressure in different places and felt better. Ashley helped me with the skis for this new boot. Very appreciative of the attention and kindness of the staff at this location. :)

Holy hell. First time in Big Sky and I am absolutely in love…read more The resort is MASSIVE...like, "I‑did‑three‑full‑days‑of‑boarding‑and-still-didn't‑hit‑every‑lift" massive. Every time we thought we were getting our bearings, we'd discover another whole zone tucked behind a ridge. Big Sky really does live up to its name. We kicked things off on what was supposed to be a "warm‑up run," but joke's on us, it was long, challenging, and honestly kind of brutal... in the best possible way. These runs are no joke and some of the longest I've ever ridden. But once the legs woke up, the rest of the day just flowed. Endless terrain, great snow, and barely any crowds. Absolute bliss. Had to pop into The Montage on the far left side of the mountain, and wow, the cocktails are phenomenal. Pricey? Yes. But you're on a mountain this bougie... what did we expect? Totally worth it. And let's talk about that gondola to tram combo up toward Lone Mountain. INSANE. The views are surreal, the exposure is wild, and the access is next‑level. Will I ever attempt the Big Couloir? Absolutely not. Do I love knowing it's there for people braver (and crazier) than me? Absolutely yes. Between the bowls, tree runs, off‑piste pockets, and wide‑open cruisers, there's truly something for everyone and somehow it never feels crowded. Big Sky has officially earned a top spot on my favorite‑resorts list. No question, I will 100% be back.

Fo $116, one adult, one senior ticket you could ride the tram/gondolas and the ski lift all day. The tram took you up Lone Peak so far then you transfered to the gondola for the rest of the accent to 11,116 feet. It was well worth the price of the tickets. The staff were very friendly, gave helpful directions and instructions as well as informative. The whole area was clean and well laid out. There were plenty of food options and shopping, places to sit, chill, relax and enjoy the phenomenal views from gound kevel. Free parking. Riding the open air ski lift was super fun

Where to begin…read more First, when you are paying for a "butler" ski rental service, you would expect that upon providing rider information as requested by the company, it would provide clients with the setup appropriate for their specific parameters. Nope. Instead, my wife got a board that was the wrong size, with missing binding screws, and bindings that didn't even fit the board or the boots she was provided. It took three separate visits to resolve, wasting multiple days on the hill. Second, given the above errors, you would expect the problem to be resolved quickly and professionally. Also nope. Instead, my wife was told "maybe your husband has the right screwdriver." I generally don't travel with a set of Phillips heads, obviously. Then, when a rude and unprofessional manager named Vanessa came by to deal with the problem, my wife asked what the solution might be for her being set up with a board that -- according to this same manager -- was inappropriate. Vanessa's helpful response was to suggest that we "buy your own rig." We were also told that snowboards are sized solely based on weight, without regard to foot size, which is of course absurd in addition to being wholly incorrect. In short, this is a ski rental business that suggests its clients buy their own equipment when they are called out for failing to provide the right gear. That should tell you everything you need to know.

The employees were helpful, informative, and friendly. The store was well-stocked for a resort storefront. I will be back.

My wife and I went to Surefoot in Vail 22 years ago for custom boot fitting, which went very well…read more So after a 15 year hiatus from skiing (in general) we decided to jump in again. This week, we returned to the Surefoot store (this time in Big Sky Montana) and had an exceptionally good experience. My wife got new boots and the technician there made multiple adjustments to a pair of boots that I had acquired about three years ago. The fit is critical as I have undergone 13 surgeries in the past 10 years to replace and revise (2-4X) both ankles. Couldn't be happier with the service we received and the entire staff here in Big Sky!

The owner has done a FANTASTIC job at bringing in styles that are wearable instead of just novelty western pieces, which is what is most often found in these types of towns. While she does throw her own little bit of western flair in there, the store is very modern. There are great yoga pieces, work appropriate pieces, and a great spread of other fashionable items. This is sure to be one of the most popular shopping spots in Big Sky.
