I recently attended what was described to me as a "working interview" at this office. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and unprofessional. I was told I could arrive at 9:00 AM when the office opened. Upon arrival at 9:15 AM, I was immediately told I was late, even though I had been instructed to come "starting at 9 AM." I was also questioned in an unprofessional manner about my attire, despite not being informed beforehand that scrubs were required for the working interview. At no point prior to the interview was compensation discussed, nor were the expectations, duration, or payment terms explained. I was asked to return home to change and come back, without any prior agreement regarding pay or work hours. Later, I was asked to attend another location on a different day for several hours, again without previously discussing compensation details. As a dental assistant with three years of experience, I believe working interviews should be clearly communicated, respectful, and transparent regarding expectations and pay. Professionalism and respect for candidates' time are essential. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those standards. read more

Be very wary going here. It is basically a dental factory. They may tell you that you need procedures done that are not necessary. It is all about the Money! We did have a nice staff person do the teeth cleaning, but we eventually said, "bye, bye" after we saw the dental plan we were given. We went for a 2nd opinion and were told that none of what they said was needed was even true. I dont like giving bad reviews, but this place is sketchy. Besides this, it was also like musical chairs. They had us in one chair for the Xrays, then another chair for the cleaning, then another chair to see the doctor. Thwn they send you to a desk where you get the procedure plan. Had my cleaning today. Rubi is so thorough and my teeth always feel amazing after she is finished cleaning. I definitely recommend getting your teeth cleaned by her. I have sensitive teeth, and she knows how to work around them. Dr Nazz came in and was very explanatory after. Super friendly and I will be seeing her soon for some work. Husband went today for a cleaning as he hasn't been to a dentist in years and really needed one. They refused to do the cleaning because it "wouldn't help him" unless he paid $180 for a deep cleaning. A CLEANING WILL ALWAYS HELP EVEN IF ITS NOT A DEEP CLEANING!! Pure laziness. This location is amazing!! I had issues with the other location on military & lake Worth rd so I spent the last 5-6 months getting second opinions from other dentist with treatment but the treatment plans I was being given were insane. When I seen this new location was open, I figured I'd give it a go hoping for a reasonable treatment plan like I previously received but with hopefully nicer staff. The hygienist that did my cleaning, was amazing. My teeth never felt as clean as they did during this cleaning. The dentist I am currently seeing, Dr. Akel, was one the best dentist I've seen in a very long time. My treatment plan I feel was extremely fair & didn't have a bunch of crazy treatments. My nerves are very sensitive & Dr. Akel was very patient the whole time through the 4.5 hrs. that my teeth were getting worked on. My son (age 5) was with me for the first half of my 4.5 hr visit and the staff was very friendly with him which helped make it easier with me needing to have him there. If you're needing to see a dentist that is friendly, caring & reasonable; this office is a great place to visit! read more

Today 6-23-21 at 10:30am, attended my dentist appointment about my on-going tooth pain on my ride side, doctor got mad because this is the first she is hearing of this, and just decided to pass me along like a piece a rag to the next doctor, asked her to check my top molar, she said there's no need to as the specialist can. Took the referral card, ripped it and will be calling another dentist. Somehow in my guts I know if i was white or Hispanic she would have sympathize a little more, took the few secs to check my top molar and listen a little more.
