I normally love this place. I eat here very often and the food is always amazing. There are two people that seem to be the only waiter/waitress and most days it is the guy and he is amazing. Super friendly and very helpful, love to see him when I come here. But both times I have had the female as the waitress she was not quite rude but she wasn't friendly either. I paid for my check like I normally do with cash, I put a larger bill down than what the amount cost as I had nothing smaller. When the lady never came back with my change I had to go up to the host stand to ask about my change. She said she had assumed that the leftover amount was her tip. Now I normally leave a good size tip, but I didn't this time after her assumption that all of my change was now her tip. I asked for the money back, she got upset, and I left. I do plan on eating here again but not if she is the one working that day. read more

A wide selection but we came on a Sunday during lunch time and it was a bit kind of slow and wasn't as much of tuna/salmon nigiri on the belt. We ordered it though and it came out pretty quick. The tuna tasted that it was still a bit frozen...salmon was good. We also ordered the yellow tail sashimi and again it was decent. Other reviews had me kind of concerned, but the sushi and fish was more fresh than other's have mentioned. May have been switched not long before we arrived. When ordering soda you recieve a can and a cup with ice, not the worst. I'm hoping they get a soda machine in the future. We were passing by and saw the new place and their promo of $1.50 for each plate. Walking in the folks were very nice, place was clean and great ambiance. Casual environment. Now with this review it's a new place so looking forward to change and assuming they are starting with some things before being more well established. The selection was not slot. Different dishes but wish they had more of a selection. There were no signs at the moment to know ehT was ehT. When we asked the guy he said just for their opening promo they took them down and will put them back up later on. Not questioning it if that's how they want to do it, In my wife's case and mine we have been to enough places to know what is what. Other people may not be as lucky. The mini cake were good, but warm, wish they were colder so they didn't fall apart as much. The Las Vegas rolls we liked though the batter around them were a little doughy?? Maybe not fried enough?? The serving sizes were small but every plate was also on sale so its understandable. O stall we liked it. We will go back and wanted to go to the coffee shop attached to it next time. read more

Big Sushi is your typical conveyor belt sushi, pick a dish, eat it and stack it up! Big Sushi just recently opened and considering how big of Sushi fans we are, we knew we needed to try it. We were seated pretty quick but the whole ambiance of the place was quiet and somber considering how many people were in the restaurant. We picked out some plates. I grabbed a Philly roll, Las Vegas roll and one of the Fried chicken plates. I was going to grab more but honestly the sushi was not very good. The fish didn't have the best taste and they were even smaller than other conveyor sushi places I have been that charged the same amount. The fish on most of the plates going by just didn't look good and made us leave sooner than we expected. The chicken on the other hand was delicious! We found out the sushi place, snowtime and Gogi are all owned by the same owners. So we left and ate at Gogi instead. We hope the quality improves because it is a nice addition to the area. read more

After being used to such a terrible conveyor belt establishment like teharu, having such great service was a surprise. The staff was super friendly polite and outgoing however... Unfortunately the conveyor belt was broken, and there were too many small issues that added up that would make it hard to intentionally return if we were not in the area. For instance the rice under the nigiri was the size of a small almond, so after the 4th order, I had to say something, soda is served from a can so no refills, the booths are hardwood and sharp and my clumsy daughter cut her knee climbing into it, the shrimp in the shrimp tempura was terribly skinny for the price, and though the rolls themselves were tasty and some inventive, most redundant in their ingredients. But we would definitely return if we were in the area, we just would hope some of the feedback would be taken into consideration. The staff seems to really want their customers to be happy, so I hope they think about making some small changes, Good luck! read more

Pros: The price of only $1.50 per plate cannot be beat. The staff were trying their best to be helpful and accommodating. There appeared to be several happy diners enjoying lots of sushi on the evening when we visited. Cons: The seating area in this restaurant consists of only two rows of perhaps five booths each divided by one conveyor, which is about 20 feet long. Consequently, the variety of plates on the conveyor at any one time was relatively limited. The seating was also a bit tight compared to other sushi restaurants we've visited. This location would probably be fine as a Boba tea shop or a café, however we felt it was too small for sitting down for sushi. Although the staff were clearly making their best effort to take care of all the customers, they still seemed a little short staffed. Verdict: Having a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in this plaza is a great idea. However, we thought the space was too small to pull it off successfully. If you strictly eat California or philly rolls and enjoy browning fish, then this place is for you! We came in because we saw the $1.50 per plate special as we were passing by. $1.50 is a pretty good deal so we decided to try it and felt like we had nothing to lose. First off, there wasn't much variety in the sushi offerings. Lots of California rolls, philly rolls, sometimes shrimp tempura rolls, fried vegas rolls, salmon nigiri, and a crunchy roll. Mostly California/philly rolls though which was disappointing as those are the most basic rolls ever. Sashimi can be ordered for +$5.99 but I'm not sure how good it would be since the rolls that had fish in them were browning and didn't taste good at all. We were lucky enough to try a plate of shrimp tempura but we waited 30 minutes and more plates of it never came out again. :( sad because that was the most okay plate that we tried. Of course everything fried tastes good lol. There were a lot of mini desserts like cheese cake, cinnamon rolls, and little bite-sized cakes. Didn't try them. Overall, I wouldn't come back again. There isn't much variety and if you try something you like besides Cali/philly rolls, it might not come around again. Also, the fish, specifically the salmon had a very strong smell and taste and was also discolored. Another revolving sushi bar in town! I like those because there is the possibility of trying any type of sushi available without breaking the bank. As we walked in, we were greeted by a very nice hostess that ended up being our waiter. We tried just about anything on the menu and walked away full and satisfied. When visiting sushi revolving places, you have to walk in open minded. These places are like buffet restaurants. Some are very good but not top places. So this place is right next to Gogi and Snowtime i believe they are all owned by the same person. I was kinda hesitant to try this place at first. Good customer service. However, it's over priced. The fish is too thin. the nigiri comes with a very thin slice of fish on a small rice ball. There are only 2 types (raw or spicy. no smoked, seared, marinated) of fish. All are typical sushi restaurant items: salmon roll, tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, caterpillar roll, shrimp temporary roll, etc. Don't have creativity. The sushi roll contain very small amount of raw fish too. When I bite on, I can't feel the fish taste at all. 2-3 pieces cost $2-$3. That's $1-$1.5 each piece. I don't think it has that quality. Comparatively, the $1.5 plates have more value but they are all cooked items. So coming with kids will be a good deal. We spent $28 for 2 adults and don't feel full or worth it at all. Don't think we will come back again. Rushed out, forgot to take pictures. Anyway, the ice cream shop next door with the same owner is awesome. read more

Even after reading all the reviews, I still wanted to give this place a chance since its new. You never know right? Yeah, the reviews were right. Very BASIC sushi & rolls and small portions. Even the standard potstickers and tempura shrimp which any Asian restaurant you go to will at least get right, were cold, oily and soggy. It's such a disappointment, since I always try to give small businesses a chance. The decor is so clean and modern and beautiful it's just sad. I just went to Big Sushi for the first time and I love it! I hadn't ever been to the carousel-style sushi restaurant before, and I like how it makes it possible to sample a variety of things that I would normally have to try over several visits. It also made the dining experience a little quicker than the more traditional format, which will be nice when I want sushi but don't have a lot of time (which is pretty often). The service is very friendly and attentive, the quality of the food was excellent. Everything I tried was delicious and I'll definitely be back, soon and often! My only criticism is that I wish they had reusable metal or even plastic chopsticks instead of disposable wooden ones. I hate the idea of a pair of chopsticks going to the landfill every time I want some sushi, so I might just bring my own next time. read more

Very clean place and sushi was very tasty. There was a good selection of nigiris and rolls to pick from and service was great. Some suggestions: * The conveyer belt shouldn't ever be stopped (it was stopped 2 or 3 times during my meal). Perhaps the plastic covers on the sushi need to be better fitted on the plates so they don't accidentally slip off while putting on the plates and require the conveyer be stopped so the staff can fix the cover before it leaves the kitchen * Maybe have a menu that people can order off of if what they want isn't on the conveyer belt. We were the only people the restaurant at the time so we didn't run into that issue, but I can see it happening if it were busier and another table closer to the entrance were taking all the more popular plates. Overall, I still really enjoyed this place and would definitely be back next time I want revolving sushi. read more
