We took the family here on a weeknight. There was a rush of some sort before we got there and the family who owns it were a bit flustered. We ordered the meatloaf sandwich, malts, and kids baskets. The meatloaf was ok, and they forgot to mention they were out of beans. The malts were not so malty and were extremely small for over $3 each. I can appreciate a local family owned business working to make a restaurant go. The prices were over the top, we spent about $45 for only 4 of us. This place is more a sandwich shop with a rib special on Fridays. It's an ok place. I got the brisket, which was dry but ok with some sauce. There was nothing that really stood out about it. From talking to the staff the meat was probably at least a couple days old and dried out from sitting around. There's really not anything special to this place. If you're craving BBQ unless it's Friday this isn't really the place to go. If you want a sandwich it's an ok place. The atmosphere is really non existent, it's not really a place you would want to go to dinner at, it's more of a grab and go place. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. read more

This place is a hidden gem. I don't get there nearly enough because of my work schedule. But... when I do go there... wow. The food is really tasty. The smoke is just right. It doesn't taste like you're biting into an ash tray, like I've seen at some smoked BBQ joints. I haven't tried everything on their menu, but what I've had was AMAZING. read more

Best burger I think I've ever had. I live in Olympia and have been craving another one since I ate there last weekend. The fries and fry sauce were close to perfection as well. I'm trying to find an excuse to go back to Centralia soon to get another burger but at this point, I think the burger is excuse enough. Highly recommend and I'm thinking I'll be back this weekend! Stopped by for the very first time and ordered the french dip and fries. It came on a hamburger bun (soggy) and the meat had an awful taste, threw the entire thing away. The fries were undercooked and completely soggy, threw them away. The french dip sauce was horrid, threw it away. Glad to know will never be back again. read more

I've been coming to this place for quite a while now, but just recently downloaded the yelp app so I thought I'd leave a review for my favorite restaurant in Centralia. My boyfriend hails from the South (straight from the Heart of Dixie) and he has told me time and time again that this place has the ONLY good quality bbq he's had so far since living here in the PNW. We come here when we're looking for an amazing quality meal that's going to leave us full and happy. Also, their staff is amazing. Awesome customer service, they are always super sweet and so nice when we come in. But seriously folks this food is some good eatin right here. I get the meatloaf sandwich pretty regularly and that thing is To. Die. For. Trust me when I say you will not leave this restaurant disappointed. The only sad thing I have to say about this place is that I feel not enough people know about it! I'll tell locals and sometimes they'll say they don't recognize the name and they'll ask me where it's located. (typically though once I tell them the location they recognize the spot) But I always make sure to mention this place to strangers, coworkers, friends, and family! So all in all if you want outstanding, mouth watering bbq and amazingly friendly staff to serve it to you, come check this place out. They are the best! read more

Burgers, brisket, pulled pork, onion rings and smoked beans.. eveeything was delicious! Female owner was wonderful, friendly and fun. We'll be back whenever we go even slightly close to them. Food is full flavored with great portions. Yummy! read more

Wow what can i say? The best BBQ around. I first got to try his food at the Morton Loggers Jubilee. It was so yummy. He is one of the most honest and kind men I have ever meant. Our daughter got married yesterday. He catered the wedding. We got pulled pork and beef brisket. For sides he made slaw, potato salad and this beautiful fruit bowl. All were a hit at the wedding. So many compliments on the yummy food. We want to thank you for being a part of our special day. Great price. I feel guilty it was so good. Any one out there.. this is one honest person. Best BBQ in western Washington. But the ribs are over priced at 20$ for a rack. The sauce was on point. The slaw was ok not cut to my liking. The beans are a must have lots of bacon and onion. The bigT pulled pork was kicking. Watch out for the hot links they have a kick on the back side but there isn't much quantity. read more
