Such a beautiful and charming place. We walked in early on a Saturday morning and were seated immediately without any wait. The ambience was perfect (we sat in a sunny corner with a bay window) and there was so much bright light and great details at the restaurant. The prices were reasonable, and the dishes were very filling without being too heavy. I really enjoyed my savory crepe and my partner got their brunch special, which was a chorizo benedict. We also shared a ratatouille which was so refreshing and light! Service was very friendly, and we were not in a huge rush to leave as it never got too crowded in the morning. Would love to come back for dinner sometime!

Such a cute little spot! Great menu great service great food! My son's favorite so we had to try it! Did not disappoint! Mussels, octopus, crab cakes and burrata as apps were perfect! Steak, burger and beef as main dishes were delicious. Ended a great dinner with an amazing lemon dessert and creme brulee. Cannot wait to go back .

This place was recommended by my nephew and so we decided to try it when visiting the area. Overall, Big Tiny did not disappoint! Here is what we liked: - Great selection of French wines...which we were particularly interested in since we recently visited the France wine regions. - Menu that lends itself to tapas/sharing...there were three of us and we shared with the Pesto Burrata and Octopus appetizers, followed by the 4 Cheese Pizza and 3 Cheese Cauliflower, then the Duck Salad and Cassoulet. All were excellent and very sharable! - We finished up with the Chocolate Marquise, which hit the spot! - Service was excellent...we were never rushed along for made to feel bad even though we were there socializing for a long time. - Vibe was casual, comfy and warm...especially good given the rain pouring outdoors. Bottom line: I can see by Big Tiny is my nephew's fave...we would go back again for sure!

Really enjoyed this spot. Had a little solo weeknight dinner with a glass of wine and my book, and felt right at home. Had the house red (discounted on Thursdays!) and the famous raviolis and neither disappointed. That and a little well dressed green salad, and I was in heaven. Highly recommend!

Dinner plans that fell through at another restaurant, brought us to this gem. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. From the escargot, muscles, the lamb and beef dish over beans. We had to get extra bread for the garlic butter and olive oil sauce. They also give you toasted bread for the muscle sauce which was flavorful. They also have great happy hour deals. The staff was very attentive and the space was small but cozy. Completely stuffed by the end, but very well worth it.

We made an impromptu stop here while strolling in the neighborhood. There was plenty of seating outdoors along the sidewalk, which was nice since we had our pup with us. Once seated, menu were brought out to us right away. We were just looking for a drink, so I got the Orange Moscato ($16) for a glass while he got the Lager ($8). The drinks were decent, nothing too special. I actually found it to be quite pricey for a single glass. We also decided to get the Three Cheese Board ($18) to accompany our drinks. When it arrived, they didn't give much explanation for the types of cheeses, but it was played beautifully. The cheeses were OK, but we did not like the bleu cheese one (definitely a big hit or miss for most people). Nothing really impressed me and I found everything quite pricey. Maybe the actual food would be better, but doesn't come too appealing to me. It's a cute spot and service was friendly, but a pass for me.

Came here for dinner with fds. We ordered a lot We ordered Croquettes, Octopus, chef selection board, and ducks. They were super tasty. Loved them. The duck was juicy and with great amt of fat in there. The duck made the day! The ambiance was chic and enjoyable. A bit dim tho. It would have been better to turn up a bit the light The service was great Definitely coming back again to this place in the future

I had lived close by here for years and always saw it buzzing, but never had a chance to drop by. It wasn't until I met a French expat at a wedding who said this was her favorite bistro to eat/hangout that I finally made it a point to check it out. Super cute neighborhood spot. There was someone who I presumed was the owner or manager hanging out at the bar. Great wine list, and super friendly waitstaff who are helpful in giving recommendations and attentive the whole night. The escargot was delicious as were the mussels - although I wish there was more of a bread or carb to sop all that rich, buttery goodness. This place seems wildly popular with locals. They do take reservations, which might not be a bad idea if you plan on coming during prime time. Would gladly come back in the future if looking for a nice, intimate dinner in an unpretentious setting.

We randomly chose Big Tiny as our dinner spot post walk, and are so glad we did. Phenomenal food and lovely ambiance, felt like we were in France at a local neighborhood spot. Nice variety of wine to choose from and the servers were all very helpful. Escargot was buttery and tender. Will be back again when we're in the area.

Fantastic neighborhood spot. The ambiance is the perfect cozy, intimate, and friendly French restaurant. Every dish my husband and I got were delicious. Pretty reasonable prices as well for the quality of food and flavor! We got the steak tartare to start, the cassoulet, and beef bourginon. The steak tartare was a refreshing starter. The cassoulet was a great cozy dish in a cold night. Great flavor that wasn't too heavy. The beef bourginon was also fantastic. The beef was tender and moist and came with a great, rich sauce. Wine options were great and paired well with dinner. Also loved that the water cups were made from old wine bottles. Very friendly owners and servers!

Best neighborhood wine bar & brunch spot! The food is delicious, staff friendly, and there's never too long of a wait. Would recommend to anyone visiting the neighborhood. TLDR: get the tuna tartare & curry mussels, great for dates & more intimate dinners Food: delicious & unpretentious! I always get the tuna tartare and, if it's cold, the French onion soup. The curry mussels were recommended by the owner and they're also delicious! Service: staff here are so friendly & will remember you if you visit twice. Insider tips: They don't take reservations online but you can always call ahead! Also just opened for brunch service. Good for: first dates, dinner with friends, parents

Big Tiny has become one of my neighborhood staples. We've tried many things on the menu and I don't think we've ever had something we didn't like. My personal favorite are the mussels provençal, which come with fries and bread. You'll want to drink the broth once you finish the musssels and use the bread to help soak up the last drops. Wines by the glass rotate daily and are written on the blackboards on the wall. I've had some amazing whites, if only I could remember what they were! My favorite time to go is like a Tue or Wed night when it's not too crowded and you can have a leisurely dinner. It can get pretty busy Thu-Sat nights and you might be touching elbows with your neighbor given how close together the tables are, which is a vibe in and of itself. They've taken reservations in the past, but it seems like they aren't doing them anymore. Service is friendly and generally pretty speedy.

The scallop dish was quite small so not the best for sharing but the rest were all amazing. From the regular menu we got the mushroom toast which was absolutely delicious and great for sharing and the pork chop which is one of the best dishes I have ever had. The food here is delicious and I was happy to see gluten free pasta options. The pork ragu was good but I was truly impressed by how good the texture of the gluten free pasta was. For me, the show stopper was the branzino. It was seasoned perfectly and the potato crust was a fun touch. The salad was nice and simple, but didn't blow me away. Portion sizes were good, though the prices are on the higher side. The restaurant is a great place for a friends' night or date night, and I'd keep the group small or make a reservation in advanced because it gets busy. It is definitely a more expensive spot, but worth it!
