I'm celiac, and they clearly know their shit, because I have eaten there a dozen times and never had a reaction. I usually get the Mini Kuz, and because they have a GF frier, FRENCH FRIES. Burgers are big, juicy, cooked perfectly and if they weren't big bombs of fat and cheese I would eat them every day. Service has been good when we eat there, and the wait staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall I recommend, but maybe keep an eye on your arteries. You will enjoy it for sure but it's not exactly health food if you know what I mean.

I had the build you own Mac and cheese that was good but it's so big for one person and had an overwhelming amount of cheese. The onion rings are so very good though. They had a lot of vegetarians option. The ambiance was great with a medium amount of people. It is not wheelchair accessible though because of the stairs in the entrance. The service was average they were a little slow but pleasant. I would recommend.

I had a nice lunch here on a Friday afternoon with friends; one of them being gluten free. If you plan on dining in, be prepared that you may have to wait as the indoor dining area is not very large. They also offer patio seating on nice days, though I'm not sure how large that area is. There is a large bakery case to the right when you walk in and my GF friend gravitated there and had to order her goodies right away to make sure they were secured while we waited for our table. She ordered 2 cinnamon rolls, a cookie, a pastry heart and one more item all for under $20. She enjoyed them all, the cinnamon rolls being her favorite. We were seated in about 10 minutes and brought drinks right away. We ordered an app sampler, fries, Cluck Norris (fried chicken sandwich) and a Turkey Reuben wrap. The wrap and also the sandwich came with a choice of greens, house chips, sauteed vegetables or an upgrade to fries or onion rings. My GF friend had the apps and fries since at many places she cannot have such things: it included mozzarella sticks, pretzel nuggets, Chicken fingers and fried pickle spears with all the accompanying dippers. She said the mozz sticks were a bit too thick for her/not hot enough because there wasn't a good cheese pull, but she thought everything tasted good. The fries were thin cut and tasted good, but she prefers a thicker fry as do I. The wrap was made with real, thick sliced turkey breast, not lunch meat, which was very exciting for me. It was moist and delicious. My other friend had not complaints about her Cluck Norris sandwich. Whether or not you are gluten free, I would recommend Kith & Kin for some good quality eats & baked goods! The staff was all super friendly, from the bakery area to the wait staff, not a mean mug in the house! haha

Whenever I visited him in Lockport, this was one of the places we'd come for breakfast. Walking back through the door all these years later felt like stepping into a time machine. The best part? It still feels like a real diner. Counter seating. The sounds of breakfast being cooked. Regulars coming and going. Friendly conversation. No gimmicks. No trendy menu items. Just good food and genuine hospitality. I ordered the Breakfast Special: two eggs over easy, crispy home fries, sausage links, toast, and coffee. It was exactly what I hoped it would be. Simple, hot, and satisfying. The service was outstanding. Lynda took great care of me and made me feel welcome from the moment I sat down. As I sat there by myself, I found myself reflecting on family, memories, and the passage of time. Sometimes a restaurant becomes more than a place to eat. Sometimes it becomes part of your story. LaPort's Pine Restaurant is one of those places. The breakfast was excellent, but the memories were even better. If you're looking for a true hometown diner experience, this place is a treasure. -- Terry | @cheft_2469 (Instagram)

The best way I can describe this restaurant is that it gives you a feeling of community. It was clear to me I was dining with a bunch of regulars since one of the people at the table next to me walked up and grabbed a can of pop from the refrigerator behind the counter, cracked it open and told Diane to add it to her ticket. Another guy at a different table got up and served himself coffee. I noticed someone else walking out from behind the bar when we walked in. I'm not sure what she was doing, but apparently it's understood when you're a regular that you're also family. I had a soup and my friend who was with me had a BLT. We were both extremely happy with our food and service. We grabbed a table near the door when we first walked in because I like to sit on the perimeter my first time visiting a place. I like to take in everything, and this place does not disappoint. Take a look at my photos to see how little I had to pay for good food and quality service. Truth be told, I was out looking at houses before taking a break at Cousin's. If I didn't want to move to Lockport before, I sure as heck want to now! Heck, I may even stop in and ask Diane for a job. The dish washer did not show up for work the day we were there, so she was pulling double duty. I'm not sure if she has someone else cooking or not, so maybe triple duty! Once word gets out about how great and affordable this place is, she'll be needing the help. Or like me, all the new people will feel instantly like family and just pitch in where needed.
