These guys were friendly, it is close by and just hanging on a corner in the neighborhood. The sub was a little dry but tasty nonetheless. Finally went to Good Guys. I got fries and seasoned fries as a treat for my sick love. I called ahead, walked down to grab it, and it was coming right out of the fryer. I called in a small cheesesteak and 25 min later when I arrived, they just put the steak on the grill. Anyone who isn't a little sympathetic for wait times during a pandemic needs to learn some patience. I thought the food was bomb! We got a lot of stuff in hopes of having left overs. The falafel sub was amazing and my fav. The Chicken finger and bacon burger subs were good too, with a toasted roll and a good amount of sauce. We also got wings and fries. The shoestring fries were good. The wings could have been crispier, but we didn't order them with that specified so that's on us. We did a pick up order and it was ready when it said it would be, with everything freshly done. Solid little corner store, perfect if you want a bunch of fried and greasy goodness. It's a small place; they've got some basic items-chips, drinks, gum, and maybe a few emergency pick-ups if everything else is closed. My friend got a foot long steak sub for $8, sure beats Jim's and she was a big fan. The next night a friend and I got wings and onion rings and it came to under $20 for 20 wings and a large order of onion rings. Definitely reasonably priced and they don't fuss with any of that carrot/celery façade. If you like mouth burning hot sauce, I don't think you'll get it here. I prefer plain wings but tried my friend's medium and I wished I had gotten those. If you're a wimp with spice (like me) you'll be able to handle it. These fries are so good. Not too crispy just enough crunch with soft potato in the middle. Along side my wonderful fries, i tried their steak and cheese sub and it did not disappoint! Gave me extra mayo like i like it tomatoes and lettuce was fresh not soggy and wilted i ordered a small amd couldnt finish it so portion size is on point and lastly what better way to wash down great food then with a ice cold VERNORS ginger ale? Nothing special but I cant say I was expecting much from the appearance of the store front. I'm not one to judge a book by it's cover though so I didn't want to not at least try the food.
