My friends and I eat here at least once a week and we all love the food. I recommend the hibachi steak entree, but you really can't go wrong with their menu. I live in the area and usually would order from this restaurant. I order no peas no carrots shrimp fried rice and the food was either old, overcooked, undercooked and grainy. I called back and spoke with John in which is was VERY VERY RUDE and said that its not his fault I did not like the rice. He said that is how the food is and tried to explain to him that the food is usually fresh. He went on to say well what would you like me to do and I said all I am asking for is a fresh order of rice with no peas and carrots. Kept saying well its not my fault, its not my fault and just his attitude and tone was RIDICULOUS!!!! Love their steamed buns! I wish they had more than pork flavor but it literally melts in your mouth. They are really quick with Togo orders and after ordering many times I can say they don't mess up orders and listen to their customers needs. I went here the other day for the first time bc its next to my job, i will never go back. My chicken was so soggy and my fried rice was so bland i couldnt even eat it. The eggs rolls tasted like they were very old and reheated. While i was eating my tummy was turning, i threw everything away spent the rest of the night in the bathroom, and the next day at work was even worse i had to leave early. I've been coming here a long time, I haven't explored much of the menu. I usually get the hibachi, it's not super traditional but it's very fresh and low in oil. The people that work here are a family, they are all very sweet. They often have their daughter coloring in the eating area. Because of this, yes, sometimes if it is later and they aren't getting orders they will close early. It's pretty easy to call prior and order to make sure though! Maybe the best Chinese take out I've had. Wide variety of dishes cooked to order. Large portions. Order one dish per diner and you'll have enough for two meals. Food is always flavorful and ready in a jiffy. I personally like the moo goo gai pan. I really don't like to give negative reviews but this food was nasty! Got General Tso's chicken that is marked on their menu as spicy, which is what is expected. First I can't even say for sure it was chicken. Fried little nuggets of something with a gelatinous red tasteless sauce on it. For some reason they included a cup of Chinese mustard. Maybe this is what was supposed to be the spicy part but I have never had this dish served with mustard before. The egg roll had a mushy filling and what was supposed to be fried rice was faintly tinted white rice with no flavor. Even drowning in soy sauce didn't help. Nasty, nasty food. My wife's shrimp fried rice tasted like something was very wrong with it- the peas in it tasted chemically toxic somehow. My General Tsao chicken was goopy and had apparently been sitting for a while. My 3 and 5 y.o. boys beef on a stick was so dry and hard they were joking that it was beef jerky or that they could cut each other with it.
